TODAY’S DEVOTION (Thursday 28th November 2019)
“And he said, “Please, show me Your glory.” Exodus 33:18 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 331st DAY OF OUR YEAR OF GOING FORWARD.
Blessed be the name of the LORD creator of Heaven and Earth. The LORD who was, who is and who is to come. The riches of His grace, the riches of His mercies and the riches of His glory has kept us. To Him belong all the glory!
I tried remembering that in the Bible Class yesterday. I could only remember the first two riches accurately. I forgot the third riches of Christ; the riches of His glory! But I thank God how the class ended. It ended with a deluge of revelation hanging in my spirit with no time to pour it out.
I have come to discover that the most exciting experience you can have as a human being is an experience with God’s glory. There are no words to describe what your life will become if you move to the next level of God for the end time Church – the glory. That is the realm few are touching and many others who are tired of the status quo are pressing into.
These are no longer days of the anointing as we have known it. These are days of the glory. These are days for the release of the fullness of God. It’s both for the release and display of Jesus Christ in His fullness – in and through us!
Sadly, the Church is far not aware of this that is why we struggle with the anointing oil and restrict ourselves to Satan’s operational plane. We have camped under the anointing for too long, consequently, inventing all kinds of deliverance inventions the way Satan did under the anointing.
We now use water, salt, soap, mud, stones, money and all kinds of satanic practices in what we call deliverance. We are doing exactly what Satan did because most department of the end time Church is operating on his plane.
REMEMBER, HE WAS THE ANOINTED CHERUB THAT COVERS.
Don’t forget he invented something that we are yet to uncover fully; something the Bible just calls “iniquity.” The prophet just wrote, “Iniquity was found in him.” We do not know what that iniquity was but it’s clear that it was an invention he used his anointing to create. Isaiah the prophet of God gave us an idea of what it was. But the result was not good.
The result was gory; God had to throw him out of His manifest or Heavenly presence forever.
Sadly, so many ministers, prophets and prophetesses have been thrown out of God’s true presence because of deliverance inventions like Lucifer was, yet they and their members do not know. They have been restricted to their polluted anointing.
The reason the naïve do not know this is because the glory has not been revealed so many do not know how it look like. Ordinarily, a minister of the gospel who has lost the glory should not have followers, but most of them are the ones with the greatest followers these days.
Under the anointing you can invent what I call deliverance inventions – drinking of Oil, using pieces of clothes to pray, lighting candles, asking people for certain amount of money to pray for them, asking them to eat grasses like goats the way a prophet does in an African country and etc. You can easily become Satanic under the anointing but not under the glory!
It is the revelation of the glory that make us assemble weekly at our apostolic center to respond to God’s call to deep intimacy. Deep intimacy is motivated by the revelation of God’s glory. Meaning, when the glory is revealed to you, the desire to press into it will be born in you leading to deep intimacy with Jesus Christ.
THE FIRST REVELATION OF GOD’S GLORY WE SAW WAS THE GLORY OF GENUINE SALVATION EXPERIENCE.
The Bible says;
“But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” John 1:12-13 NKJV
The power to become a Child of God cannot be understood until we uncover what Moses said to God when he was dialoging with Him on the glory. Moses said to God;
… “If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here. For how then will it be known that your people and I have found grace in Your sight, except You go with us? So we shall be separate, your people and I, from all the people who are upon the face of the earth.” Exodus 33:15-16 NKJV
To find grace in God’s sight in the context of salvation is to be born again. In effect, Moses was saying to God “How will people know that we are born again if your presence does not go with us.” To me that was a revolution.
He was simply saying “carrying the indwelling presence of God wherever you go is the only way to show to the world that you are born again.” It is not in loud confessions or the talk of the lips.
In other words, your “born again” claim is only authentic if it gets God’s presence stuck to your life. God’s sign to the world that you are His child is His presence in your life. If His presence is not with you and you go about telling the whole world you are saved, you are in delusion.
The presence of God in our life is the glory of our salvation!
Sadly, many born again smell very bad in the spirit. I have even met Pastors and so-called prophets and prophetesses who smell very bad in the spirit and I wonder. They carry the presence of hell around and still believe they will make Heaven.
YOU CANNOT MAKE IN THE NEXT LIFE WHERE YOU DON’T SMELL IN THIS LIFE!
If the presence of hell is what smells around you instead of the presence of God, it is a dangerous sign that you will go to hell when you die. In the same way, if the presence of God is what you smell around you as a Christian, it is a glorious sign that you will go to Heaven when you die.
Your smell in this life determines your destination in the next life! That is the first reason why you must change your spiritual smell.
The second reason is clear; what you smell in the spirit is what determines what happens in your life in the natural. Many have the smell of demons and persistent sin in their lives – I mean Christians. If it were unbelievers, I won’t have worried because they are not saved, so they can smell anything.
The stench some Christians send out in the spirit is very devastating. You will never know what I am sharing with you this morning until God grant you the mercy in the deeper places of the Spirit to sense this terrible smells around the so called “born again” Christians. That is why they suffer all kinds of affliction.
The presence you carry around you is what indeed determines what happens in your life. You must change your smell. You must find a people moving in the power and glory of the LORD to change your smell in the spirit.
I know I am sharing things that shallow minded Christians will not even give a thought to. But you need to stop being shallow minded because Satan attacks these days from his depth. You must go deep in Christ to be victorious. That is why God is calling us to deep intimacy.
As you embrace the next 365 days coming ahead of us, make that embrace your season of seeking God to change your smell in the spirit. Many cannot get or stay married because of what they smell in the spirit. What you smell in the spirit is what defines the state of your marital life.
MOST MEN AND WOMEN ARE ADULTEROUS NOT BECAUSE THEY WANT TO BE, BUT BECAUSE THE SMELL OF THEIR SPOUSES IS SENDING THEM AWAY TO OTHER MEN OR WOMEN. May God change your smell this week as you make it a week of seeking Him deeply.

“Here is a place by Me, and you shall stand on the rock. So it shall be, while My glory passes by, that I will put you in the cleft of the rock, and will cover you with My hand while I pass by.
