THE CRY OF THE SPIRIT DEVOTIONALS – BY RICHARD E. S. TAKIM

TODAY’S DEVOTION (Thursday 2nd July 2020)

“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Romans 8:31-36 NKJV

WELCOME TO THE 183RD DAY OF OUR YEAR OF REJOICING

Thank GOD for the prayer session we had in our mid-week Church in the House service. I believe in God’s mercies to make this month a special one in our lives as we have prayed. My prayer and yours ought to be because of our faith in God to keep us through the month.

I so much trust in God’s mercy to preserve us from the sword of the enemy, the anger and attacks of the aggrieved, the venom of the serpents, the fires of the dragon, the snares of the wicked, the pits that men did for others to fall in, and the terror that walks either by night or by day.

I trust God’s mercy to make sure that the expectations of the wicked concerning us this month are disappointed. Yes, I believe that His mercy will speak for us this month where we cannot speak for ourselves. I trust His mercies to disappoint the craftiness of the wicked so that their hands will not perform their enterprise.

I do not know what threat you are facing but I want to admonish you to believe in God’s mercy; they are from everlasting to everlasting. So long as you have repented of your sins and are living a repented life, believe that you are under the blanket of God’s great grace and amazing mercies, and it shall be so in your life.

The Bible says God commanded His love towards us, in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. If God will love us while we were yet sinners, how much more now that His blood has washed us from filths and sin and made us a righteous seed. That is why our devotional text today is incredibly significant.

It was based on this revelation and divine conviction that Paul, the only true apostle of Grace in my opinion, wrote to the Church at Rome saying,

“For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39 NKJV

So long as we remain in the paths of righteousness, nothing shall be able to separate us from the love of God.

IT IS THAT LOVE THAT KEEPS US FROM EVIL AND ALL THAT THE ENEMY DO MUSTER AGAINST US.

The only person that can separate us from the love of God is us; when we take sides with the devil, and start doing his bidding, we bring upon ourselves the wrath of God by sharing in GOD’s wrath on him. Outside that, nothing can separate us from the love of God! That is why the Bible admonishes that we keep ourselves in the love of God.

A believer can do things that take him away from God’s love, and the early Church knew that very well, hence documenting that charge.

Sadly, the heretic preachers among us, who call themselves the preachers of grace, do not know that. They do not tell us that it is our responsibility to keep ourselves in the love of God by making use of His saving grace upon our lives to live right.

They do not tell us that if we do not keep ourselves in the love of God, we have walked away from His mercy like the prodigal son did.

If you recall, he only stepped back into mercy when he returned to the father’s house. That tells me that there are coverage areas of God’s mercies in the realm of the spirit. If we walk out of them, we will be doomed.

Friend, this is a new month! You need God’s mercy to navigate through the waters of hate, spiritual warfare, lack, and all evil works that may be spewed against you this month.

You need God’s mercy and love to overcome the attacks of those who want you dead this month. You need God’s mercy and Love to overcome the spiritual arrows that may be shot against you this month. So, keep yourself in the LOVE of God.
That is the greatest covering in God’s kingdom.

IT IS STRONGER THAN ANY PRAYER COVER ON THE FACE OF THE EARTH.

Our devotional text today is full of truths that you can glean from and save yourself from the judgments and condemnation of carnal men and satanic people. When I say judgment, I am not referring to rebukes from people of God who want you to make Heaven.

Our Church generation calls rebuke Judgment. When I say judgment, I am referring to verdicts passed against you on evil portals, by evil companions, misguided pastors, derailed Church leadership, or perverted prophets.

Why should shepherds turn themselves into wolves?

Why should a man or woman of God who received your tithes and offerings when you were with Him turn into animals that wants you dead when you go away from them? This is causing a lot of pains to the Holy Ghost and God want to break out to save His flocks from this kind of wolves called spiritual leaders.

I have lost so many members in my over 28 years of ministry but by God’s grace have not cursed anyone that left. In fact, I feel relieved because am being free from responsibilities. I know God will not ask me for that soul when I stand to give account before Him in the next life.

There were also those who hurt me severely before living. I remember the LORD helping me on their case not to curse them. This has not been by might nor by power, but by the Spirit of the LORD, because it can be challenging. If we do not submit to the will of GOD when wicked members hurt us before leaving, we will do things that we pollute our mantles.

But there are cases where those who leave are innocent. They just realized they needed to peacefully exit and find spiritual pastures somewhere else, and it turned their ex pastors crazy. To this kind, if you are blameless, just fix your eyes on the LORD to keep you. But if you are not, please, go and apologize for any trouble you may have caused, then leave.

I feel strong in my prophetic spirit that the days of victory and prevail of the many wolves we call preachers over some poor ignorant Church members are over. We see a lot of things happening. God has been moving to save His sheep from their mouths, and these lock-down season has done so much, positively to these precious souls.

WHEN I SPEAK TO MINISTERS OF THE GOSPEL, I USUALLY TELL THEM TO DO MINISTRY RIGHT OR THEY LOSE THEIR MEMBERS.

The voice of the LORD came to me in 2015 (five years ago) that He will begin to deliver His sheep from the hands of fallen and perverted shepherds and that there is nothing we (preachers) can do about it.

How do you know when a sheep has been delivered? They will no longer have righteous interest in the anti-Christ church assembly or ministry. They will just feel drawn by the LORD to stay or go away. That is exactly what is happening all over the world right now.

Child of God, it is a new month! Keep yourself in the love of God and see Him break out against His enemies that surround you. Some major highlights in our devotional text this morning says,

“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? …Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.”

As we journey into the days God has set for us this month, let us believe in this scripture, and use it as your guiding light every day of the month. It will put God on His feet to keep and position us spiritually to escape the arrows of the evil one.

MAKE THIS SCRIPTURE AN ADDITIONAL MEDITATION FOR THE DAY (I suggest for the entire month)

“You whom I [the Lord] have taken from the ends of the earth and have called from the corners of it, and said to you, You are My servant — I have chosen you and not cast you off [even though you are exiled].”

“Fear not [there is nothing to fear], for I am with you; do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties, yes, I will help you; yes, I will hold you up and retain you with My [victorious] right hand of rightness and justice.”

“Behold, all they who are enraged and inflamed against you shall be put to shame and confounded; they who strive against you shall be as nothing and shall perish.”

“You shall seek those who contend with you but shall not find them; they who war against you shall be as nothing, as nothing at all.

“For I the Lord your God hold your right hand; I am the Lord, Who says to you, Fear not; I will help you!”

“Fear not, you worm Jacob, you men of Israel! I will help you, says the Lord; your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel.”

“Behold, I will make you to be a new, sharp, threshing instrument which has teeth; you shall thresh the mountains and beat them small, and shall make the hills like chaff.”

“You shall winnow them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the tempest or whirlwind shall scatter them. And you shall rejoice in the Lord, you shall glory in the Holy One of Israel.” Isaiah 41:9-16 AMP
