THE CRY OF THE SPIRIT DEVOTIONALS – BY RICHARD E. S. TAKIM

TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL (Wednesday 23RD December 2020)

“Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;”

“But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.” Psalms 1:1-3 NKJV

WELCOME TO THE 357TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF REJOICING

Our devotional text this morning is one of those scriptures that generations past stood on to unleashed their destinies and serve their generation according to the will of GOD.

One of the major things it spoke about is the nobility of meditating on the word day and night and the beauty of separating oneself from the counsel of the ungodly, paths or traditions of sinners, and seats of the scornful!

Two distinguished characters you find here is that of Consecration and dedication.

Dedication and consecration are two important parts of our Christian faith. If these two are missing in our lives, so many other things will be missing. We will never be like tree planted by the rivers of water that brings forth its fruit in its season.

We are in the later days of the end time. The Kingdom of God is in need of dedicated and consecrated men and women who will carry out the last redemptive orders of the King of the Kingdom. Some of the things we are going to do this season is declaring on the housetop what we are told in the ear.

Of course it will not be a cheap thing to do that. It will be a ministry that will come with great price. The price could be the killing of our bodies. But if we are dedicated and consecrated enough, there will be no fears in our hearts. The order will remain strong in our hearts, and the mandate sure.

Friend it is time to be dedicated enough to shout on the house top what we are told in the ear. Our commander in Chief said;

“Whatever I tell you in the dark, speak in the light; and what you hear in the ear, preach on the housetops.”

“And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will.”

“But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.” Matthew 10:27-31 NKJV

If you look at this scripture carefully, you will realize that what we will be asked to shout on the housetop will be what religious people will want to kill us for.

Yes, some will be what evil government will want to kill our bodies for. This year God said to me that one of the evil government that is emerging in the west will kill His servants during its days. That the Church in that region will be persecuted and destroyed because of its stand in matters of righteousness.

But this scripture that contains the will of our commander in chief for the now, promises divine protection for us as we embark on this dangerous mission of shouting on the housetop what he tells us in the ear.

IN 2021 WE WILL BE TOLD THINGS IN OUR EARS THAT WE MUST SHOUT ON THE HOUSE TOP.

That is part of the Higher Heights mandate. Actually, there is a Higher Height Mandate that had been handed over to us. We only heard of the prophetic declaration when I shared it with us, but not the prophetic mandate attached to it.

There is a prophetic mandate attached, and the mission of shouting on the house top what He tells us in the ear is part of it. We will therefore need to be protected divinely by the LORD.

In fact, there is s deployment from Heaven to protect us. To be positioned for it, we will be sharing something about divine protection this morning.

All through the Holy Bible you see this necessity of divine protection expressed from chapter to chapter, and from one documented generation that worked with the LORD to another documented generation.

If divine protection is not added to our walk and talk with God, divine destiny, we may have all other things right but will not live long enough to fulfill God’s appointed mandates for our lives.

It is divine protection that keeps a man or woman of destiny long enough to run the race, finish God’s will for his appointed days on earth. You see that in the life Jeremiah, Isaiah, and the rest of the prophets. Isaiah will later die by being sowed into two. But that did not happen because he lost divine protection. It happened because he finished his days.

These warriors all died according to the will of God, not according to the will of their enemies. That is what divine protection does; it will keep you until the day of your appointed death; yes, there is a death appointed by the Father for all of us in the battles of the LORD.

Some will be killed by diseases, circumstances or people like many of our fathers who fought the battle of the LORD at the end of their days, while others will just die naturally like Elisha. Divine protection will not be lifted from our lives, even at death. It will be there to escort us home!

There is therefore divine protection in this life and on transition to the next life. David comes to mind here. He knew about divine protecting when one is transiting to the next life.

He said to the LORD,

“Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance. (Acts 2:27-28 KJV)

IT IS SOMEONE WHO UNDERSTAND DIVINE PROTECTION WHEN ON TRANSITION TO THE NEXT LIFE THAT SPEAKS LIKE THAT.

It is a mystery I will leave for another day. You know David touched so many dimensions in the Spirit realm of God that we are yet to uncover. He operated dimensions of knowledge that we are yet to come into. That was why He was able to serve his generation according to the will of the LORD. He heard in his ear what to declare on the house top of his days, while fighting the battles of the LORD. God also protected from the cradle to the grave.

You find the LORD him from sword of Saul and all his enemies. You see God making sure that even when he was battle wearied, his enemies did not prevail against him.

That brings us to another bible character, Paul. His was one of the most dangerous missions you can ever embark on with the LORD. He taught and declared things that were a threat to empires and all kinds of demonic traditions.

Consequently, hell unleashed itself on him. But the LORD kept him until he fulfilled his days. The Bible showed us that he went through so much that ordinarily he should have died in few months after accepting Christ.

The first year he opened his mouth to preach, the Jews stoned him to ‘death.’ The Bible says;

“Then Jews from Antioch and Iconium came there; and having persuaded the multitudes, they stoned Paul and dragged him out of the city, supposing him to be dead.”

“However, when the disciples gathered around him, he rose up and went into the city. And the next day he departed with Barnabas to Derbe.” Acts 14:19-20 NKJV

It takes divine protection to be stoned and left for dead and then rise to go back into the same City that you were stoned to continue what you were doing before the stones came. It takes divine protection to be so treated and still have the life in you to travel to another city without being admitted in the Hospital for recovery.

If GOD had not divinely protected Paul and the rest of the disciples, I do not think the gospel would have gotten to us. The dragon really tried to devour them but God protected them.

WE WILL NEED DIVINE PROTECTION TO EXECUTE OUR GOD GIVEN ASSIGNMENTS NEXT YEAR.

Sadly, there will be those who will be afraid to be in the forefront; afraid to even post something that threatens the antihrist. Those who will be fearful and not join us in battle, will miss so many glorious things that Heaven has planned for us. They will miss the Higher Heights blessing for not joining in the execution of the Higher Heights mandate.

We must understand that the blessings are for the mandate. If we will see them manifesting in our lives, then we must be part of the mandate. We must not fear but understand that when God gives you a destiny to pursue, He will assign angels to protect you. When God give you an assignment to do, the Holy Ghost will be assigned to both empower and protect you to do it.

Yes, we must understand that if we see ourselves causing ripples in the camp of the enemy by doing a Holy Ghost empowered service in the kingdom, there is a Heavenly deployment to protect us in the process. The Holy Ghost protects who He empowers to speak in the name of the LORD. That is why we must not fear any threats that may be coming out from those with the spirit of the antichrist.
God said through Isaiah;

“Do not say, ‘A conspiracy,’ concerning all that this people call a conspiracy, nor be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled. The Lord of hosts, Him you shall hallow; Let Him be your fear, and let Him be your dread.”

“He will be as a sanctuary, but a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense to both the houses of Israel, as a trap and a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem” Isaiah 8:12-14 NKJV

The same Spirit that will empower us to do declare on the housetop what the LORD tells us in the ear is also protecting us at the same time from any harm that may come our way.

THAT IS WHY YOU READ JESUS TELLING US;

“Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Luke 10:19 NKJV

If the Holy Ghost uses you to trample on serpents and scorpions or step on toes that are destroying his work, He will make sure that nothing by any means hurt you thereafter.

Except you come to end of your God given days on earth, the Holy Ghost will never empower you to do a thing then abandons you when the repercussions come from hell. Even in death He will be with you to take you home.

He is not a man that abandons His partner when the heat becomes hot! He sticks to His human partners to protect them from the backlash of the enemy after using them to do a work for God. That is why our devotional text this morning says;

Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.”

Fear will cripple the hand of the LORD and hinder us from experiencing God’s protection over our lives. But faith will launch us into the realm of glory where God’s protection exists! That is why the Holy Ghost always tells His human partners NOT TO PARALYSES HIM with fear.

You will always hear Him telling you

“fear not, for I am with you. Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”

In 2021, as we begin to execute the Higher Heights Mandate, join us in battle with all the LORD has given you. It is part of your prophetic destiny to do so.

There may be threats, but fix your heart on His word of protection for our lives, and go on doing only the things He has called or assigned us to do. I believe, even if we are in the midst of charging bears, we will SEE our God break forth in power for us. Amen and amen.

LET THIS SCRIPTURE BE AN ADDITIONAL MEDITATION FOR YOU TODAY;

“Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you.” Genesis 28:15 NKJV
