TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL (Sunday 10th JANUARY 2021)
“What is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You visit him? For You have made him a little lower than the angels, and You have crowned him with glory and honor.” Psalm 8:4-5 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 10TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF HIGHER HEIGHTS
“What a mighty GOD we serve. Heaven and Earth adore Him! Angels bow before Him. What a mighty God we serve.” This is one song that makes meaning on daily bases in our lives. It is the might of the LORD that has been the secret of our lives on earth.
If you see someone succeeding without the significant help of any one on earth, just know there is an invisible hand helping that person significantly. There is a supernatural thing make natural things around him happen supernaturally. The Bible says the help of man is nothing. Meaning, it does not endure. It is the help of GOD that endures.
If God is not helping you, it does not matter who may be helping you, your life will still not progress significantly. And if God id helping you, it does not matter who may not be helping you, your life will make significant progress.
This morning we are going to share on a special ministry in scriptures – not the ministry of apostles, prophets, evangelist, Pastors or teachers but the ministry of angels. They are always around us, doing the bidding of GOD.
You will never experience the help of God without the impute of His angels. It is His angels that He uses in bringing help to us. You see that in the lives of all who ever experience help from the LORD, especially in time of trouble.
This morning, we want to take our eyes off the fall of man for a minute, and see things from a “no fall” point of view. I want to reiterate some of the things I have shared before in our interface meetings at our apostolic center at one point of the other. I hope we are ready!
Now, from a “no fall point of view,” Man was created in God’s image and likeness. He was a small “G” on earth. Whatever the big “G” was, man was the small version of it before his fall. The Big G is God and the small G is man.
FOR INSTANCE, THE BIG “G” LIVED IN GLORY AND WAS FULL OF GLORY.
The small “G” lived in a portal of glory that had multiple portals all over the Garden of Eden, and was so full of God’s glory. In fact, when he lost his place in the garden of Eden, it took him 930 years of living a fallen spiritual life to expel that glory. The day he expelled the last ounce of it, he died.
Death after the fall, should only occur when we have expelled all the natural glory God buried in us to expel to our world.
The big “G” is immortal, omnipotent, omnipresence, and omniscience and has millions of angels ministering to Him! Before the fall man was the small version of all these qualities and enjoyed amazing angelic presence as well – though the Bible did not tell us if anyone of the angels interacted with him, from the dealing of God with Him we can tell angels did minister to Adam.
If angels from Heaven never ministered to him, how did he name all the animals on earth by Himself. I believe angels helped him and God placed them there to help him in spiritual matters. It was in natural matters GOD looked and said, “it is not good that man should be alone.” I hope you understand me.
As Immortal he could not die. I knew this because the big “G” God, said to him, “the day you eat of this you will surely die”. Meaning he was immortal before the fall. Man became mortal after the fall. Paul made it clear that both spiritual and natural death came into the human race through his sin. Sin killed the ability of the flesh to be immortal.
As omnipotent, man was always powerful both spiritually and naturally. I remember sharing the mystery of the omnipotent man in one of our Church in the house sessions. I encourage you to go to our you Tube page, and get all the series. That is one revelation that you need to become all that God has called you to be.
The word omnipotent simply means “all” or “always powerful.” God is all and always powerful. Man had a small version of that before the fall. This version manifested in the dominion he had over everything God created – an ever potent and always powerful dominion. He never lost it for a moment until sin came in.
And now the Holy Spirit can still bring us to the stage of being always powerful. He can energize and strengthen us to walk in dominion the way Adam walked before sin came into his spiritual operating system.
WHEN SIN CAME IN, WHAT COULD NOT STAND BEFORE HIM STARTING CHASING HIM.
When sin comes into our operational system, what could not stand before us will start chasing us. You see that repeated today in the lives of men and women. Things that were not design to stand our presence have not ceased chasing mankind about.
When sin enters your life as a human being, devils God designed to bow to you will start chasing you about. For instance, don’t you see how witches and wizards (with no God given capacity to stand our presence) have become our fear and dread today? We even do whole conferences and pray all nights just to talk about them! It’s a shame!
Lamentation said the crown of dominion is fallen from our heads!
The next divine quality man had, was a small version of God’s omnipresence nature. As omnipresence, man could swiftly be in different places, not at the same time but within a near timeless speed.
The word omnipresence means “to be in all places at the same time”. That is the big version of it. Man had the small version. He could swiftly be in different places not at the same time but within a nearly timeless speed.
He also had the small version of omniscience nature of God. As omniscience, man was all knowing in a small sense of it.
The word omniscience means “all knowing”. Man had a small version of this. This intelligence was displayed when he named the animals. The Bible says the naming ceremony was so profound and the names so accurate that God allowed every name he gave to be so.
If you read the book of Genesis chapter 2 you will discover that no name was repeated in the naming ceremony. He knew exactly what was in the mind of God. Each animal, insect, microorganism, sea creature, bird, and etc. got a name from what was in the mind of GOD. Man had a small version of God’s omniscience nature.
BUT THE FALL CHANGED EVERYTHING.
The next things you see about the big G God, are the trillions and millions of angels ministering to him, and Man had angels ministering to him as well. He enjoyed a small version of this before the fall. But our need for the ministry of the special beings increased after the fall.
You see, before the fall they had nothing redemptive to do for man because man was in the realm of glory with God the Glorious One. The angels were just watching over the realm outside the glory – restraining darkness from coming into that realm. But when man fell, he was expelled from that realm to the very realm of darkness that was being withheld by God’s angels from coming in.
That was when we became in need of redemption! That is why we need their ministry today more than Adam needed it then! The special ministry of these special beings is called “the ministry of angels.”
The good news about all these things is this; the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus and subsequent outpouring of the Holy Ghost, made it possible again to be the small version of what man was before the fall again. I have seen people who tasted these things even in our generation. Space and time will not allow me to be detailed.
As you pass through this day, make up your mind to plug back to the glory. Only then will the small versions of these divine attributes of God become visible in your life again. You can enjoy a great angelic ministry in this life.
God assigned them to minister to redeemed men. The Bible says,
“But to which of the angels has He ever said: “Sit at My right hand, till I make Your enemies Your footstool”? Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?” Hebrews 1:13-14 NKJV
Amazingly, though the redeemed enjoy unlimited ministry from these beings, even the un-redeemed are not left out. God in His mercies makes sure they enjoy a limited ministry of angels. I have heard of wicked men that God protected from death by the ministry of His angels because He has no pleasure in the death of a sinner. He wants all saved!
How do I enjoy the full ministry of angels, you may ask?
It’s simple. It takes just a living relationship with Jesus, being in God’s will, and walking in obedience to enjoy the full and unlimited ministry of these supernatural creatures, and that is what God sent this word to activate in your life today!
If you are always under attacks, you need the ministry of angels.
If you are always sick, poor, afraid, pursued in your dreams or facing any physical or spiritual threat, you need an unlimited ministry of angels. This is a new year. I pray for today that all through this year, angels will minister to you.
They will bear your Children up.
They will shield you and yours from danger. They will open ancient doors to the supernatural to you and bring you miracles. They will build their camp around your life and the lives of your loved ones. They will descend upon you with blessing, and ascend with your burdens to the LORD, in Jesus precious name. AMEN!

“The Angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him [who revere and worship Him with awe] and each of them He delivers.
O taste and see that the Lord [our God] is good! Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man who trusts and takes refuge in Him.
O fear the Lord, you His saints [revere and worship Him]! For there is no want to those who truly revere and worship Him with godly fear.
