TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL (Wednesday 17th March 2021)
“When He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and to them were given seven trumpets.
Then another angel, having a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.
And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel’s hand. Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and threw it to the earth. And there were noises, thunderings, lightnings, and an earthquake.” Revelation 8:1-5 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 76TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF HIGHER HEIGHTS!
It’s been a blessing, waking up each morning and receiving from God light and understanding for each new day. And today was not different. We are in a prophetic season of the opening of seals – seals of divine revelations of the kingdom, power and glory of God.
The opening of seals triggers the opening of portals. I trust God to open a seal to you this morning in Jesus precious name!
Our devotional text this morning is a deep revelation should always be cracked when teaching on the Baptism of the Holy Ghost and Fire. If the mystery is understood, veils that are sustaining the error of evil altars will be removed from our hearts.
In recent years, deliverance ministers have veiled the Church from seeing the true altar in Heaven by teaching, emphasizing and harassing us with books, tapes, and sessions on evil altars. Demanding great financial sacrifices to be free from them, or asking that they follow some to villages to uproot them.
But any day we allow God to break through our spirits with the mystery of His altar in Heaven, veils like that will be removed from our hearts; the seas around the scripture will be opened and the Holy Spirit poured on us. We will become ‘married’ to the altar of God in Heaven and ‘divorced’ from any evil altar in our lives or families as they call them. It be a great liberation session.
Like I have always shared, I was part of the altar breaking deliverance ministers many years ago in Nigeria. Honestly, like the spirit of divination did in the book of Acts chapter 16, the revelation brought money to us. It all started when I stumbled into a book written by a particular Nigerian preacher who we all considered to be a powerful prophet of God.
IT WAS NEW AND FRESH TO ME AND I THOUGHT, “THIS IS SERIOUS, WE ARE IN TROUBLE.”
I was fresh in ministry and had spent my entire life before that time reading the Bible and any gospel book that can help my understanding of it. But when I stumbled into this one, it opened what I considered a fresh dimension of deliverance mysteries to me; things I thought were the deepest revelation I have ever read on the spirit realm and the works of Satan.
But I would later grow up to be taught by the Holy Spirit that the deepest revelation is not about evil altars or any other works of the devil.
Anything a man learns about Satan and his evil works is not “deep” but “dark.” The deepest revelation of God will not keep us in constant battles with supposed enemies. It will make us the meekest and most victorious people on earth. You see that all through the lives of those who walked with the LORD in Bible days.
God would later bring me into a long season of unlearning so many wrong things that I had imbibed in my quest for knowledge.
In those days of unlearning and re learning, I came to realize that the deepest revelation available to mankind is the revelation of things that eyes have not seen, ears heard or eyes conceived about the glory of God.
Paul, one of the post resurrection apostles of Jesus Christ, puts it this way;
But as it is written:
“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
“But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.” 1 Corinthians 2:9-10 NKJV
He went on to state
“These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.” 1 Corinthians 2:13 NKJV
BELIEVERS ARE NOT CALLED TO KNOW THE MYSTERIES OF THE KINGDOM OF SATAN BUT THAT OF GOD.
We ought not to have relationship or fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness according to scriptures. Our spiritual food ought to be the revelation of the deep things of God not the deep things of Satan.
But the reverse is the case now. Ministers and ministries that call themselves deliverance ministries and ministers; all they do is to teach the deep things of Satan to people and not that of God. They go beyond the boundaries God has set about Satan and bring into the church things that the fallen angels teaches in occult circles about himself.
How can we, being Children of LIGHT, be spending our energy educating ourselves about the works of darkness? That is why many of us are weak in the Spirit. We cannot even dispense the power of God to heal a little headache.
Like I have always said, the Bible says, they that know their God shall be strong and do exploits. Meaning, they that know the devil shall be weak and exploited. No one can be free from the devil knowing about him. It is the knowledge of God that sets a man free from the works of the devil. That is the secret many do not know!
The Bible says my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; sadly, very few are asking which knowledge did God meant? He was not referring to the knowledge of the evil or any other knowledge. He was referring to the knowledge of the Holy One.
There is so much to know about God – so much in the sea of Heaven’s mysteries that are yet to be revealed to us.
Daniel knew some and wrote it down in his book. Jeremiah, Isaiah, Moses, Ezekiel, some of the early Apostles, and finally John the beloved knew some of these things and transmitted them to us. None of them spent time reading, studying, and writing about evil altars or evil works of Satan.
The Spirit of God spoke by me saying, “Men who live under the glory, do not talk about evil altars or evil works. They talk about the altar of God in Heaven and His righteous works. It is men who are under the anointing and seek to bring deliverance to people outside the realm where permanent deliverance takes place that speak about evil altars and all related works of the enemy.”
I BEGAN TO UNDERSTAND THAT THE SUBJECT OF EVIL ALTARS IS SIMPLY A MONEY MAKING DOCTRINE AND NOT A HEAVEN MAKING TEACHING.
It functions as an instrument of fear infliction that end up bringing people to the place of sacrificing greatly towards the economic freedom of certain ministers of the gospel.
Over five years ago, during a session we had on the Baptism of the Holy Ghost and Fire, God said to me if a man is Baptized in the true Holy Ghost and Fire, he will become His altar on the face of the earth, and will be able to operate at a superior power; a power that is higher and greater than the forces of any evil portal on the face of the earth.
He reinforced what He taught me many years back that made me to abandon the teaching of evil altar.
He refreshed my memory with these words, “In the Old Testament altars were external – resting on places, erected with stones, and sacrificed upon.” You see all that in the altars Abraham, and the rest who walked with Him erected. “But in the New Testament” He continued, “altars are the spirits (or hearts) of men. Men become my altars when they give their lives to me and I send my Holy Spirit and Fire upon them.”
The Bible indeed said the spirit of man is the candle, lamp, or burning altar of the LORD searching the inward parts of the belly.
I began to understand that the apostles functioned as God’s altars on the face of the earth that was why they could heal the sick, raised the death, cast out devils, and snatch souls from hell even in the midst of the stiffest opposition. And we are called to function in the same capacity, connecting the fires on the altar of God in Heaven and sending them to execute GOD’s redemptive plans on earth, converting the kingdoms of this world into that of God and of His Christ. Hallelujah!!
A MAJOR HIGHLIGHT IN OUR DEVOTIONAL TEXT TODAY SAYS;

If you are blind to this altar in Heaven, you will be limited by the evil altars on earth. Prophets will be deceiving you with doctrines on evil altars and scooping money from you. You will be moving from deliverance service to deliverance service, undoing what Jesus has done in your life by His death on the cross.
Are there really evil altars? Yes, they are!
Evil altars are controlled by the spirit of Nehushtan; a department of the spirit of Baal, Molech and Ashtoreth. They are products of spiritual counterfeit. Satan’s greatest ministry is to do what God did in the past and abandoned in the present.
You see, when Satan fell from Heaven he built altars in his kingdoms after the pattern of things he saw in heaven.
Those altars manifest as portals of hell on the face of the earth. It was some of those portals he led our fathers to construct in their families that deliverance ministers preach and teach about. To this day he still leads people to erect altars to establish points of contact between what they consider as the spirit realm and them.
When Israel settled in the Promised Land, they were told by the LORD to physically destroy such constructs so that they will not be seduced to do the same. God instructed them to go physical because the blood of Jesus had not been shed, the cross was nonexistent, the Holy Ghost and Fire was not yet given, and man was not yet redeemed.
BUT NOW ALL THAT HAS TAKEN PLACE.
Permanent freedom from evil altars is no longer by breaking them down physically because we wrestle not against flesh and blood. Neither is it by doing what we call “raising an altar of sacrifice” (giving some money to some prophets).
Permanent freedom is now by genuine salvation experience, the Baptism of the Holy Ghost and Fire, and constantly feeding on the revelation of the kingdom, power and glory of GOD till you step back spiritually into the glory environment that Adam once lived in.
What is the message of our devotional this morning?
The message is simple. Until you are connected to the altar of God in Heaven and become God’s altar on earth through genuine salvation experience, the Baptism of the Holy Ghost and Fire, and constant feed on the knowledge of the kingdom, power and glory of God, you will never be free from the altars of your father’s house.
That is the message!
The greatest revelation you need now is the revelation of a minister, church or ministry that will bring you into that realm. You need a spiritual authority who is called and appointed for you.
