THE CRY OF THE SPIRIT DEVOTIONALS – BY RICHARD E. S. TAKIM

TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL (Thursday 1ST April 2021)

“Then Moses set up the courtyard around the tabernacle and altar and put up the curtain at the entrance to the courtyard. And so Moses finished the work.

Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle. Moses could not enter the tent of meeting because the cloud had settled on it, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

In all the travels of the Israelites, whenever the cloud lifted from above the tabernacle, they would set out; but if the cloud did not lift, they did not set out—until the day it lifted.

So the cloud of the LORD was over the tabernacle by day, and fire was in the cloud by night, in the sight of all the Israelites during all their travels.” Exodus 40:33-38 NIV

WELCOME TO THE 91st DAY OF OUR YEAR OF HIGHER HEIGHTS!

Today is the first day of the month of April, and it’s been a blessing, waking up each morning and receiving from God light and understanding for each new day. Some of us do not deserve to be alive today but He kept us in His mercies.

We are in a prophetic season of the opening of seals – seals of divine revelations of the kingdom, power and glory of God. The opening of seals triggers the opening of portals. I trust God to open a seal to you this morning in Jesus precious name!

If you are not one of the shallow minded believers, you will know some of the details of what is known in theology as the Tabernacle of Moses.

The Tabernacle of Moses was a Tabernacle that Moses built by the hands of men God chose and filled with the Spirit of wisdom. It was a prototype of God’s Tabernacle in Heaven. Redemptive plans are executed according to things that are written in Heaven. The construct was therefore a pattern of things in Heaven planned to be executed on earth in their set times and seasons.

The details of the Tabernacle of Moses contains the totality of God’s redemptive plan for mankind, from the day Adam left the garden of Eden to the day Jesus will come to take the Church home.

If you want to know what God is doing for our age and time, you will need to look at the seven feast of the LORD, but if you want to know where you are in your personal faith or walk with God, you will need to look at the Tabernacle of Moses.

Why are we called to be disciples or learners of Christ? One of the major reasons is to bring us into the revelation knowledge of all that is contained in the Tabernacle of Moses, because Christ is actually the Tabernacle. If we come into the revelation knowledge, we will align with God’s plans and patterns revealed in the Tabernacle.

Yes, we will come into the kingdom, power and glory it brings.

If you want to see your life animated by Heavenly glory, you must learn to walk in Heavenly patterns revealed in Christ. These patterns are taught as precepts or scriptural moral codes. Sometimes they are depicted in the lives of men and women who once walked with GOD.

When you find the pattern for your life and begin to walk in it, you will begin to radiate an aspect of the glory of God on the face of the earth. Yesterday we spoke about the wisdom of constant flow. But most times constant flow is a product of a constant walk with God according to His pattern for your life.

IT IS A LIFE THAT IS LIVED ACCORDING HEAVENLY PATTERNS THAT MOVES FROM GLORY TO GLORY

That is why God will always want us to come into the revelation of His plans or patterns for our lives on earth and stick strictly to them. When giving Moses the plans for the Tabernacle, GOD said to Him;

“And see to it that you make them according to the pattern which was shown you on the mountain. Exodus 25:40 NKJV

We are called to lead our lives according to Heavenly patterns for them on earth. Our passion should be to make our lives align with the patterns revealed to us by the Holy Spirit. Kingdom rules, divine instructions and directives are aimed at bringing our lives in sync with God’s Heavenly patterns for them.

When we start living in sin, walking in iniquity, or trespass we are living our lives outside God’s pattern for them. When we start comparing ourselves with others and using their success as a yard stick for our own success, we are living our lives outside God’s Heavenly pattern for it.

When we are ignorant of what God wants out of our lives, we will begin to bring forth what He does not want out of it. God wants His glory to be shooting forth from our lives but that can only happen if we align with His Heavenly patterns. Paul, one of the post resurrection apostles of Jesus Christ said;

But as it is written:

“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

“But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.” 1 Corinthians 2:9-10 NKJV

I believe some of these things are God’s Heavenly patterns for our lives. They are not things you find on the surface of religious thinking or activities. They are things you only find in the depths of God; things that will require a search to come into.

LET US MAKE THIS MONTH A MONTH OF ACCURATELY ALIGNING WITH GOD’S HEAVENLY PATTERNS FOR OUR EARTHLY LIVES

If we are to do that, then we must be ready to get our spirits sharpened enough to accurately pick those patterns in the depths of God’s Spirit. If our spirits are not sharpened with the rod of sound Bible teachings, we will never be able to come into accurate knowledge of what these patterns are.

Yes, you may take something on the surface and call it God’s pattern for your life as a result but will never come into an accurate knowledge of what it really is.

There are so many with things in their lives that they have taken to be God’s Heavenly patterns for their earthly lives that are producing nothing glorious in their lives. No one will truly live a life according to a Heavenly pattern and not see the glory of the LORD kindling it on daily bases.

A major highlight in our devotional text says,

“Then Moses set up the courtyard around the tabernacle and altar and put up the curtain at the entrance to the courtyard. And so Moses finished the work.

Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle. Moses could not enter the tent of meeting because the cloud had settled on it, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

From this scripture, it is clear that it was when Moses finished the work of the Tabernacle according to the pattern shown to him by the LORD, that the glory of the LORD descended upon it. In the same way, it is when we will lead our lives according to God’s Heavenly patterns for them that our lives will experience the fullness of His glory resting on it.

We are like the Tabernacle of Moses, just as Christ is. There is a divine plan, process and pattern for us to lead our earthly lives. This month God wants us to discover it and allow Him to fill our lives with His glory. There is so much in His glory to be poured into our lives on earth; so much that eyes have not seen, ears heard or hearts conceived.

WILL YOU BE WILLING TO ALIGN? WILL WE BE WILLING TO COME INTO GOD’S HEAVENLY PATTERN FOR OUR LIVE?

Many of us have gone astray, everyone to his own way, thereby leading lives that are shaped either by the passions or lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes or pride of life, the deceitfulness of riches or the cares of this world, the love of money or other forms of dangerous desires.

Some of us are even leading lives that are terribly shaped by the pressures of hell from the unseen world using false religion. This is very dangerous.

If we live lives that are shaped by the pressures of hell using false religion, or shaped by the passions of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, the pride of life, the deceitfulness of riches, the cares of this world, the love of money, or etc. we will produce life styles that are opposite God’s Heavenly pattern for them, coming into a no-glory state of life known in scriptures as Ichabod.

And trust me, the worst state to lead an earthly life today is an Ichabod state. It will bring so much pain, ruin and destruction because only the glory of the LORD can help us these end times.

Friend, this is a new month. You need a new focus for the month, and the LORD has just given us that focus.

The focus is to make sure we lead our earthly lives according to God’s Heavenly patterns for them. But that will not be possible if our spirits are not sharpened by sound Bible truths to pick those patterns in the depths of God’s Spirit and align our lives to them.

If our spirits are not sharpened, we will be picking things we strongly believe to be God’s patterns for our lives (which are not really His patterns); things that people pick from the shallow places of religious paradigms. We will be picking them and walking in the error of what God’s patterns for our lives really are, thereby living our lives without the radiation of God’s glory.

God has made a promise in His word for us this end time saying;

“In that day the Branch of the LORD shall be beautiful and glorious; And the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and appealing for those of Israel who have escaped…. For over all the glory there will be a [b]covering.”

We are in the days of the covering of His glory. Let’s make up our minds to walk away from all that we have entangled ourselves with and come into alignment with God’s Heavenly patterns for our earthly lives so we can be experiencing the manifestation of this promises.

Welcome to a new month in the mighty Name of Jesus!

LET THIS SCRIPTURE BE AN ADDITIONAL MEDITATION FOR US TODAY!

“In that day the Branch of the LORD shall be beautiful and glorious; And the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and appealing for those of Israel who have escaped.

And it shall come to pass that he who is left in Zion and remains in Jerusalem will be called holy—everyone who is recorded among the living in Jerusalem.

When the Lord has washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and purged the [a]blood of Jerusalem from her midst, by the spirit of judgment and by the spirit of burning,

then the LORD will create above every dwelling place of Mount Zion, and above her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day and the shining of a flaming fire by night. For over all the glory there will be a [b]covering.

And there will be a tabernacle for shade in the daytime from the heat, for a place of refuge, and for a shelter from storm and rain.” Isaiah 4:2-6 NKJV
