TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL (Friday 16th April 2021)
“For this cause everyone who is godly shall pray to You in a time when You may be found; Surely in a flood of great waters They shall not come near him.

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.

WELCOME TO THE 106TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF HIGHER HEIGHTS!
It is of the LORD’s mercy that we are not consumed for His compassion fails not. That is one scripture in the book of lamentation that should never depart from our hearts until we leave this world.
We are in times of uncertainties and unpredictability. These are times to trust in the LORD like never before, walk with Him as never before, and move in Heavenly wisdom like never before.
In times like this, even those who are termed righteous are just going down. But despite the happenings, we must keep praying that we are not given over to the teeth of the enemy.
There is a generation whose destiny is not determined by the anger, threats, or evil machinations of their enemies. It is a generation of those who fear the LORD. They do not just fear the LORD; they walk in the wisdom that is generated by the fear of the LORD.
You can be fearing God but not walking in the wisdom that is generated by genuine fear for GOD. Yes, bad things do happen to good people; not because the good people became bad.
Sometimes, good people do not walk completely in the wisdom of the fear of the LORD, and since the enemy wants them out, he capitalizes on that to launch terrible attacks against them; sometimes even wiping them away from the face of the earth.
The fear of the LORD will create a protective edge of Heaven over your life and afflict those who hate you without cause if you walk in the wisdom it generates. The Bible says
“the fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom.”
Meaning, it is a launching force into the realm of operating in Heavenly wisdom.
It is Heavenly wisdom that guarantees victorious living not just the fear of the LORD. If you fear God but do not operate in Heavenly wisdom, you will cut your life short on the face of the earth, because Satan want to empty the earth of men who walk in the fear of the LORD.
HE IS LOOKING AT CREATING A WORLD WITHOUT MEN WHO FEAR GOD.
That is where the warfare lies. So taking men who fear God out as fast as he gets the chance is his specialty. And men who fear God are taken out when they act foolishly at any time of their live. God knows that, that is why He made the fear of the LORD the beginning or the launching force of Heavenly wisdom.
One thing God will kindle in your heart as soon as you encounter Christ is the fear of the LORD. Then you allow it to launch you into paths of Heavenly wisdom by dedicating your time to searching for the Heavenly wisdom to apply to, even the smallest decisions you want to make in life.
This is enhanced by studying the scriptures, listening to the Holy Spirit and walking in the Heavenly wisdom you find in the adventure.
I have come to realize that if you fear the LORD, you dare not walk in the wisdom of men or that of this age. If you do, even in the smallest decisions, the enemy will take you out. That is why personally I check things over and over with God before doing them, even when going on a trip to anywhere in the world.
Yes, the fear of the LORD is a major sign of genuine salvation. It is what gives efficacy to prayer, fasting or giving. It is what makes Heaven so close and hell so far from us. But if we do not walk in the wisdom it should generate or launch us into, we will drop down in this wicked world even worse than people who do not fear God.
The enemy pushes those who fear God down so that the lost world and even the believers who are faint hearted will say, “there is no profit in fearing God.”
May be let me step aside to says this; if you allow the enemy to bring you to the place of saying “there is no profit to fearing God and walking with Him closely” because of something that happened to someone who feared the LORD, you are few inches away from the gates of hell.
DO NOT EVER ALLOW THAT TO HAPPEN TO YOU!
From eternal point of view, the man who fear God, who may have been cut down for not walking in the wisdom that the fear of God launches us into, is still better off. Yes, he is better than you who has turned your back or walked away from fearing God because of what happened to him.
Show me a man who fears God I will show you a man who may not be walking in the wisdom that the fear of God launches us into, but is far better than all those who lack the fear of God in their hearts.
It is better for me to live a short life because of not walking in the wisdom that the fear of God lunches men into and be in Heaven, than to live a long life without the fear of God and end up in eternal damnation.
God wants man to fear Him and lead righteous lives on the face of the earth. Then walk in the wisdom that fearing Him launches men into to escape the attacks the enemy usually launch at those who fear the LORD.
Like I said earlier, Satan’s goal is to make sure that those who fear the LORD do not exist on planet earth. He wants an earth without people who fear God.
For instance if you look at what is happening in America today, you will see that. They are changing laws and shaping governmental structures to eliminate the fear of the LORD from that nation.
One parliamentarian once stood on the floor of the house to say, “We are not here to do God’s will.” It was during a debate on one of those laws written to further the plan of eliminating the fear of the LORD from that part of the world.
The plan is to do it there then force the whole world to follow suit. But who is he that says and it comes to pass when the LORD has not spoken? While that remains our consolation, we must learn to walk in the Heavenly wisdom and learn to apply it to every details of our lives.
So the enemy has not ceased pursuing his vision of eliminating the fear of the LORD from the face of the earth. He has found willing tools to use in the US parliament and in many other places on the face of the earth; even in the Church.
Friend, the war is intense. Everyone who fear the LORD must begin to walk in Heavenly wisdom.
There are those God is using as a light in their families. The demons or agents of darkness in those families are busy persecuting and masking life unbearable for them. They want them to either cease walking with God, or suffer the consequences of doing so.
Why are they going through such attacks? The reason is obvious.
SATAN WANT TO MAKE SURE THAT WE HAVE FAMILIES FULL OF PEOPLE WHO DO NOT FEAR GOD.
He will prefer having families full of family members with religious fear for God than with genuine fear of God that turns one away from a life of sin, iniquity or trespass. He hates having families full of people walking in the genuine fear of God. He is comfortable with families with people who are driven by religious fear for God to become active members in dead churches. He knows that is not a treat to Him.
But if one person in that family finds Christ, and His true light, the enemy will begin to panic and launch attacks against the person so that he or she will not bring what they have found to the home. That is why I said we should walk in Heavenly wisdom so that his attacks will not succeed against us.
The recent war raging against many of us centers around the enemy using decisions we took based on the wisdom of men or that of this age to cut us off so that we will not bring the light of God to our families that are wallowing in gross darkness.
Once a family member is saved and sanctified, there will be an invisible power form God that will flow into his or her family to circle the people and reduce the works of the evil one.
THE BIBLE SAYS WE SHALL BE SAVED WE AND OUR HOUSE.
This invisible power is based on the covenant of God with us. It is the presence of this power that will make the enemy to launch attacks against us so that the fear of God in us will not be transferred to any member of our families. You must understand this war and clear any decision you want to take with the LORD before taking them.
The Bible made it clear that we are not of this world, implying that we must not take decisions based on the logic of this world. Our decisions must be taken based on things outsourced from the world of God’s glory. God wants to teach and instruct those who fear Him on what to do even in the minutest details of their lives.
That is how He protects us from the sword of the enemy.
A major highlight in our devotional text says,
“I I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye. Do not be like the horse or like the mule, Which have no understanding…”
Those who fear the LORD must make sure they take decisions from the fountain of divine teachings or instructions from the LORD.
Yes, we must develop a strong spiritual understanding and come into realms of faith where we know exactly what the LORD wants us to do when making decisions. Except it agrees with what the LORD has established in His word that we do, we must not even do what our families, friends, wives, husbands, etc. or even spiritual leaders wants us to do, if we are walking in the fear of the LORD.
“What do you mean,” You may asked. “Should I not submit to my husband or spiritual authority.” Am not saying so. I understand submission, and I know what it is, but doing everything they may want us to do can destroy us!
God did not create submission to authority to be a source of our destruction. He created it to be a blessing in our lives. If my submission becomes a source of destruction, I will withdraw it. That is one major wisdom those who fear the LORD must walk in.
Friend, these days, most so called believing souses and spiritual leaders are cut off from the life of God. In any case, even if they are not cut off, they will never know the details of our most private lives, yes, the circumstances of our most private lives. Hence will not be in a better position to advise or counsel. But God knows. That is why we must develop intimacy with Him to guide us.
We must develop strong spiritual understanding to be able to judge and harness our individual circumstances in the eyes of God’s will for the moment, then make decisions that will not lead to the enemy cutting our lives off, or causing any kind of ruin.
We can go on and on, but this is a devotional not a book! A word is always enough for the wise.
We must flee from the ways of the Chaldeans, yes, we must not follow the logic of Babylon if we are walking in the fear of the LORD, else we get destroyed.
Those who fear the LORD must follow what the LORD teaches, and where He leads even in the minutest details of their lives, so that they will not be cut down by the Sword of the enemy. Do not forget that he wants the earth empty of people who fear the LORD!

Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel: “I am the LORD your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way you should go.
Oh, that you had heeded My commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river, And your righteousness like the waves of the sea.
Your descendants also would have been like the sand, And the offspring of your body like the grains of sand; His name would not have been cut off nor destroyed from before Me.”
