TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL (Tuesday 3RD August 2021)
“But to you who fear My name the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings; and you shall go out and grow fat like stall-fed calves.”
“You shall trample the wicked, for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day that I do this,” says the Lord of hosts.” Malachi 4:2-3 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 215TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF HIGHER HEIGHTS!
The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork. Day unto day utters speech, and night unto night reveals knowledge. This is the day the LORD has made. We shall rejoice and be glad in it.
The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple. It’s been our receiving timeless truths from the LORD through His Word. The special School of the Spirit code named “7 DAYS 7 MOUNTAINS” is really being used by the LORD to do great things in our lives.
We are right now on season three, and things re already happening. There are four more seasons to go. Meaning, God will bring many of us to a permanent shift in dimensions that will structure us forever to become all He has called us to be – glorious lives on the face of the earth, doing His will and serving our generation according to His will.
Faithful is He who has called us who also will keep doing it! Amen.
God wants is to know all that was designed for our generation to know. Yes, every generation has set revelations designed to be unique to that generation because of their assignment in God’s redemptive plans and the challenges facing it. The essence is to keep us close and closer to Him.
Heaven do not want any distance to exist between us and God. If a distance exists between you and God He has a way of making it known to you. He will send an alarm in your spirit and you will begin to see God as far from you.
In moments like that, you may think God He departed from you. But scriptural truth tells us that when we sense that God is far away from us, He is not the one that departed from us, rather we are the ones who have departed from the faith position we were when He was close.
Let me explain this in another way! God can be likened to be the Sun and we His children, the moon or other planets. In fact, Jesus is called the Sun of righteousness, positioned to give a constant energy to His Church or you and I. The Sun does not depart from the moon, the earth, or any other planet. It is fixedly positioned in one place to give light to all.
IN THE SAME WAY, JESUS DOES NOT DEPART FROM ANY ONE OF US.
He is permanently positioned in the Spirit realm to give His Supernatural SUN-POWER to all His Children on the face of the earth. This power manifest as a constant flow of the power of the Holy Ghost and Fire. It manifests as animations of the glory of the LORD. That is what we need constantly to live triumphantly in an accursed world.
If you look at the apostles and all of our Bible fathers, it was the animations from this power that made them men and women of exploits in their days.
So God do not depart from us. Christ is still where He is in the Spirit realm; firmly and permanently positioned waiting for us to close the distance and stay with Him. Don’t forget, when He was physically departing from the earth, He made a promise to us. He said;
“lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen (Matthew 28:20 NKJV).
He is the Sun of righteousness that is with us always; permanently positioned to fill our lives with His presence and animations of His glory. The problem is not with Him; the problem is always with our positioning around Him. The distance we maintain with Him is usually our problem.
If you study the solar system, you will realize this same truth. It is the position that exist between the moon, the earth, and other planets with the Sun that determines the energy they get from it. That is what determines if they will get what the Sun was created and positioned to give to them.
For instance, plants and animals are growing on planet earth because of the proper positioning of the planet to receive light and energy from the Sun. The role of the Sun in making plants to grow is called PHOTOSYNTHESIS. As plants of righteousness in this age, we will need our own version of Photosynthesis from the realm of God’s glory to grow and thrive in God’s will for our lives.
Photosynthesis is only possible if the earth takes the creator’s position in its RELATIONSHIP with the sun. In the same way, our version of photosynthesis will also be possible if we take the creators position in our relationship with the Sun of Righteousness, Jesus Christ.
OUR LIVES WILL BE FULL OF HEAVENLY PEACE, PROSPERITY AND PRESENCE IF WE DO.
The essence of constantly being schooled in the things of God is to let that happen. If we are not schooled, we will not walk in the required understanding to let that happened. We will lack the closeness to see that happening in our lives.
Friend, there is no space to state in details how the proper positioning of the planet earth is helping it to be impacted with energy from the Sun. It holds so much message for us!
The Bible actually says it is this positioning that helps men on planet earth to mark their calendars; seasons, years, and days. None of these would have been possible if the earth decides to move away from the position God created to take around the sun in other to receive energy from it.
Now, if we bring all these accurately to our relationship with Jesus Christ, we will be able to understand God’s message to us this morning. Our devotional text says;

The first thing you must understand in this text is the need for PROPER FAITH POSITION in the Spirit. Like we shared earlier, God (Jesus Christ) is like the Sun. It is the position we take around Him that determines if we will have His manifest presence in our lives or not.
If we are not properly positioned in our faith, we will not be able to receive anything from Him as the Sun of Righteousness. For instance, our Holiness proceeds from Him. If we are not properly positioned in our faith, we will not be able to receive it; leading to a life of Sin, lawlessness and iniquity.
Meaning, if you are struggling with sinful habits, all you need to do is to position properly around the Father of Holiness Himself through unending seasons of prayer, feasting in the word, staying away from what defiles, and maybe fasting.
IF YOU POSITIONED PROPERLY, YOU WILL RECEIVE THE ENERGY FROM HIM TO BREAK FROM THE YOKE.
Also our revelatory power proceeds from Him. If we are properly positioned in faith we can be receiving accurate visions, revelation, prophetic foresight and insight into people’s lives, the circumstances that surrounds us, and etc. People like Moses, Samuel, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Elijah and Elisha, and the rest of the prophets who operated in divine accuracy gained such prophetic powers through proper positioning in the spirit.
If you want to operate accurately in the prophetic you must locate the faith position to take around the Sun of righteousness in the Spirit, so that He can be rising upon you to unleash it. If you want to be always on fire for the LORD, you must also do the same else you find yourself falling into sin every now and then.
I have been there and know what am talking about. It is very painful to fall into sin; very painful. Sometimes when I remember those days and season I found myself in sin, I feel like reversing them and doing what I should have done. But thank God for His mercies that always come to help us to get back to the LORD.
If you want to be always on fire for the LORD, you must locate the proper faith position around Him and take it on daily bases.
In the same way, the blessing of divine health, a permanent freedom from hell and satanic yokes, economic prosperity, blissful marriages, and all miracles and divine visitations we need from the Sun of Righteousness, will not come until we locate the RECEIVING FAITH POSITION to take in the Spirit.
The Bible says;
“Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.”
“Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.” James 4:7-10 NKJV
HIDDEN IN THE SCRIPTURE ARE THE MANY RECEIVING FAITH POSITIONS TO TAKE TO RECEIVE THESE THINGS FROM GOD.
It presents submission to God (and all Godly authorities), resisting the devil (and all works of the flesh), Drawing Near to God through deep intimacy sessions, cleansing our hands and purifying our hearts (by spending time with sanctifying truths), and humility.
In fact, our devotional text mentioned “the fear of the LORD” as the first faith position to take in receiving impact from the Sun of Righteousness. It says;
“But to you who fear My name the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings…”
It presents Healing, spiritual growth and operating in supernatural power as the things that will happen in our lives when He rises.
I don’t know what you are looking for or want from God. The truth is, it is not lost. You are the one who have lost the position you need to have it in your life.
Our assignment at the Cry of the Spirit ministries is to teach the Church back to proper faith positions in the Spirit. We have a mandate to uncover forgotten truths and bring our generation back to the proper faith that was once delivered to the saints; positions that our Apostolic Fathers took in the early Church to unleash the kingdom, power and glory of God in their days.
You must locate ministries like ours around you and plant yourself there these end times, else you will not cease running after prophets and seers for a word from the LORD. It’s a New Day for you!
Make this devotional your meditation for today and other days to come, and your life will never remain the same.
