TODAY’S DEVOTION (Monday 18TH October 2021)
“If a trumpet is blown in a city, will not the people be afraid? If there is calamity in a city, will not the Lord have done it? Surely the Lord God does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.
A lion has roared! Who will not fear? The Lord God has spoken! Who can but prophesy? Amos 3:6-8 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 291ST DAY OF OUR YEAR OF HIGHER HEIGHTS.
The LORD has been so good to us. Glory to His mighty name. He has kept us, He has provided for us, He has been our refuge, stronghold and tower. He has been our rock of defense and a weapon of war. We are alive today because He is alive. I am confident He will keep watching over us and keeping us until our days are fulfilled. Amen.
God is doing something in our age and time. He is blowing things from Heaven to His sons and daughters on earth. He is washing the Church by the washing of water by the word. Indeed, the mystery of God shall be finished.
The present times are indeed amazing times for those who have a peg in the Holy Place. We are in the days of vision and revelations from the Throne room, that is why you must find your place in His presence.
If you do not find your place in His presence, you will be experiencing visions of a devil coming or a witch flying. Yes, you will be experiencing visions induced by carnality and money. You will never experience what we are talking about.
These are days of visions and revelations of God’s redemptive purposes for the end time. You are needed in the holy place to have you own measures of revival so that you get to the most holy place and begin to swim in the dimensions. The reason for that is very clear. A special line in our devotional says;
Surely the Lord God does nothing; Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets. Amos 3:7
This is not just referring to prophets by office. It also refers to everyone who will find themselves in the Holy Place to receive measures of revival. They will be pushed into the Most Holy Place to walk in prophetic awareness of what the LORD is about doing.
THERE ARE THINGS THAT GOD IS DOING AND THERE ARE THINGS HE WANTS TO DO.
He is releasing the visions because he wants you to be part of them. He wants you to come into the visions and revelations of what He is doing and wants to do. He will not do the ones He wants to do until He reveals them to us so we can play a role. He will reveal them because He intends to do them.
In other words, God does not move unless He speaks to His servants the Prophets. There are God’s prophets by office and there are GOD’s prophets by just relationship with the LORD. The ones by office are the leaders while the ones by relationship and fellowship with the Father are the saints who have been perfected for the work of the ministry by the leaders.
None is His servants the prophets by title, no! So they do not go about saying, “I am prophet this or prophetess that.” They are His servants the prophets by content.
Those who are not His servant the prophets by office are folks who have sat under apostles and prophets and have found their place in the Most Holy place. Their fellowship with the Father is strong, and they walk in prophetic awareness of what the Father is doing, and what He is about doing.
This is the class God wants everyone in the Body of Christ to be part of!
God reveals His secret to His servants through prophetic roars – yes He roars because He is the LION of the tribe of Judah. And when He does only those who are in the Most Holy Place can pick and understand. Others cannot. They will have to depend on those in the Most Holy Place to know what is happening. That brings us to the next line in our devotional text. It says;
“A lion has roared! Who will not fear? The Lord God has spoken! Who can but prophesy?” Amos 3:8
When you come into this realm where He is roaring from, you cannot but prophesy. His roar is His voice.
THAT IS WHY THE WORD CALLS HIM A LION AND CALLS WHAT COMES OUT OF HIM “THE VOICE” OR “THE ROAR.”
When lions speak their voice come out as roars. When the LION of Judah speaks, His voice comes out like a roar – shaking the foundations of sin, rebellions and carnality and throwing the alienated from God into confusion.
God wants you to come to this place so that He can be using you to shake the foundation of sin, iniquity and trespass and bringing the separated from the LORD back to the LORD! That is the job of every prophetic people by office or by fellowship with the LORD.
Those by office do it at a higher level and greater dimension like Elijah. They understand God’s major Roar for each generation.
There is a roar for each generation. The role of God’s servants the prophets by office and is to bring the roar down to the body of Christ and those by fellowship will affirm and extend it to everyone they meet in the market place or in their day to day activities. That is the order of the LORD!
Any generation that is cut off from its own roar will miss its way and become a perverse and crooked generation. Any generation that misses its roar will end up in the belly of the dragon. Everyone in hell fire today missed their roar. Everyone in a wrong marriage today missed his or her roar.
When a generation misses its roar destruction or calamities will become inevitable. It will be caught up in the snares or net of the wicked one! And God does not want to see us caught in the net of the wicked one. That is why He raises serving prophets to hear His roars and send them to the earth.
Prophets of GOD either by office or by fellowship with the Father are people who are authorized by the Throne Room of God to function as communicators of Heaven’s roar to individual, Families, Churches, Cities, and nations.
One day He said to Jeremiah;
“See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out and to pull down, to destroy and to throw down, to build and to plant.” Jeremiah 1:10 NKJV
AFTER THE ENCOUNTER JEREMIAH BEGAN TO HEAR AND RELEASE GOD’S ROAR TO THE NATIONS.
Till this day we still have his book in our hands communicating to us what He picked from the roars of the LION of the Tribe of Judah. With all sense of humility and purpose, I know GOD brought us to East Africa to sense and send the roar of the LION of Judah to the region. He Himself said;
“Therefore, indeed, I send you prophets, wise men, and scribes: some of them you will kill and crucify, and some of them you will scourge in your synagogues and persecute from city to city,
that on you may come all the righteous blood shed on the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah, son of Berechiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar.
Assuredly, I say to you, all these things will come upon this generation.” Matthew 23:34-36 NKJV
Sadly, people treat those God call to Hear His Roar and send to the Nations like He did Jeremiah, with disdain and treat those He did not call with respect. They accept those without a seal of a divine call and reject those with the seal.
When God sends His servant to communicate His roar to you and you maltreat or ill-treat them, time itself will judge you severely (except there is repentance). The LION deals with anyone who sabotage or hinders people Heaven has given His roar to sound on earth for the redemption of the lost.
He said
“Assuredly, I say to you, all these things will come upon this generation.”
And it happened. The Roman military might would later come to Jerusalem after 40 years to attack and destroy it.
TODAY’S DEVOTION IS FOR SONS
Sons do not eat any food they find. They feed on choice meals that come from the mouth of GOD. God sent this word to tell us that He is roaring truths for our generation. It’s our responsibility to hear them and announce to the people of our generation.
Enough of hearing the noise of a fallen life! Enough of even listening to the one who goes about like a roaring lion – the devil! The Bible says
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.” 1 Peter 5:8-9 NKJV
The roar of the roaring lion devours – it devours our faith and fills our hearts with fear. It devours our holiness is fills our lives with filth. It devours or spiritual energy and fills our life with weakness and lack of zeal for God.
The roar of the roaring lion devours that is why we are asked to be sober.
But the roar of the LION of Judah delivers! If your life is filled with confusion, fear, filth and weakness, you have been hearing the roar of the roaring lion not that of the LION of Judah. Enough of hearing the roar of the roaring lion! This is time to fill our spirits with what the LION of Judah is roaring to the nations and to us individually for the now!
This is time to sense the roar of the LION of Judah and send same to all the LORD has assigned to us on earth.
So many are hearing and following the roaring of the roaring lion that is why lives are being devoured. They hear him talk to them about evil foundation, curses in their father’s house and all nonsense about their roots. But that will never save anyone. We need to hear the roar of the LION of Judah. He said in His word,
“Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live.” John 5:25 NKJV
When the LION of Judah roars His word give life. In other words, it breaks the gates of death into pieces and gives life to those held by it to come out. We can go on and on, but this is a devotional not a book. May the LORD take you further in Jesus precious name! Amen
