THE CRY OF THE SPIRIT DEVOTIONALS – BY RICHARD E. S. TAKIM

TODAY’S DEVOTION (Wednesday 1ST December 2021)

“AFTER THESE things, the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram, I am your Shield, your abundant compensation, and your reward shall be exceedingly great. Genesis 15:1 AMP

WELCOME TO THE 334TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF HIGHER HEIGHTS.

From the first day of our year of Higher Heights to the Amazing Grace season that is upon us, to all the miracles of the LORD in our lives; all that we have been experiencing from the flow of His marvelous works, the multitude of His mercy and the depth of His compassion, is the reason we are alive today.

Glory be to the LORD GOD almighty for His unspeakable love and glorious works in our lives. We have also experienced His living truths as never before, even as we step foot into the 12th Month of the year.

I believe, the best meal on earth is yet to be cooked by any chef on the face of the earth because the best meal on earth is the meal of the word and the goodness of the LORD.

Talking about spiritual food, I want to submit that no matter what you eat from the kitchen of men, devils can still feed on you. But when you feed from God’s kitchen, no demon can feed on you. You see that all through the scriptures.

For instance, after the flood, the first generation of people to feed from GOD’s word was the nation of ancient Israel. The Bible says they were fed with manna from God’s kitchen in Heaven.

Manna was a template of God’s word. They ate it for 40 days.

During those days the Bible says their garment did not wear out, neither did their feet swelled. There was no feeble or poor one among them. Yet, they were walking in a terrible wilderness full of snakes and scorpions. It is clear in scriptures that the Word they ate made sure nothing ate them.

Friend, we are what we eat. If we eat the word of God we become sons or offspring of the GOD whose word we have eaten.

IF WE DON’T WE BECOME LIKE MERE MEN.

Jesus made it clear that anytime the word of the LORD enters our hearts, and we allow it to become our main spiritual meal, dimensions of God breaks out through us. That was why He said in John 10:35 “If He called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken), (NKJV).

When the word comes to you as spirit and life, and you eat it that way over time, your humanity will be swallowed by God’s divinity. That brings us to our devotional text for the day. It says;

““AFTER THESE things, the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram, I am your Shield, your abundant compensation, and your reward shall be exceedingly great (Genesis 15:1 AMP).”

The constant and consistent coming of the word of the LORD to our hearts is the greatest thing that can ever happen to us.

It came to Abram only once that day, and it took him from where it met him to where the enemy could no longer catch up with him. If the word of the LORD keeps coming to us daily, we will come to a realm of manifestation that will fit what creation is waiting for. That is one of the reasons for these devotionals – to always provide a now word for the nourishment of our hearts.

God will never stop sending His word. He will never stop giving his word to be published. So long as the sin age is still here, the word of the LORD will not cease coming; yes, it will not cease coming until we enter into the age to come. God will keep giving us His word and great will be the company of the men and women who will be enabling it to spread or publishing it.

The Bible says;

“The Lord gave the word; great was the company of those who proclaimed it:” Psalm 68:11 NKJV

That brings us to a major truth on the gift of men to men. It was God that says “it is not good that a man should be alone.” No matter how align we are with God, how Heavenly backed we are, or how much we live in the Glory, we will need men prepared for us by the LORD to become all He may have created us to become.

I GREW UP TO DISCOVER THAT GOD CREATED MEN TO “DEPEND” ON HIM FOR SUCCESS BUT TO “NEED” FELLOW MEN TO SUCCEED.

That is why the self-made syndrome is a deceit. No one can be self-made. At one point or the other another man will be involved in your quest for success. Whatever the LORD gives us from Heaven, will need people on earth for it to take root and prosper among men. That is why God gives the gift of men to men.

Pride and arrogance will not let people humble themselves and allow God to blessed them with needed men and women. If sending His word depends on people to spread, then you must not allow any spirituality to deceive you. We all need God given people to fulfill God given purpose.

You must begin to pray and fast for God to bless you will the gift of men in 2022 as we step into the 12th month of the year. You will need God and you will need men and women from God.

There was a time in my life that the LORD led me to spend months praying that He give men and women that I need to fulfill His call upon my life. He may lead you to do the same. Spend every day of this month asking the LORD for people your life will need in order to blossom; also do not forget to ask Him for the character to retain them when they come.

Anyone with a divine assignment from the LORD will know that Divine visions cannot be fulfilled until they are surrounded by great men and women who love the LORD and the vision given by the LORD to be fulfilled. Until divine purposes are surrounded by men brought by the divine hand of God, they will either remain unfulfilled or be terminated all together.

WITHOUT VISIONS PEOPLE PERISH, AND WITHOUT MEN VISION PERISHES. MEN AND VISIONS GO HAND IN HAND.

You must understand that visions cannot be fulfilled without men and men cannot live fulfilled lives without visions. Visions and all divine purposes need men to be executed and completed.

Most of what the LORD will put in your heart to do as His child will need a company of people to perform it. Most of the burdens He will place in your heart will need people from Him to be performed.

The work of the LORD or the burdens of the LORD are usually too heavy for one man to carry. Yes, whatever that is divine is usually too huge for one man to take from start to finish. One man could provide leadership but without a corresponding followership, things may fail.

Talking about visions, at conception, they may need just a man, but for them to get to their manifestation, men will be needed.

Whenever God seek for a man, it is to impregnate his spirit with His plans and purposes. But whenever He wants to move those plans and purposes from the declaration to the manifestation, He will seek for men. It takes men to move things forward. So if your life is without needed men, your efforts will not be crowned with success. The Bible says;

“The Lord gave the word; great was the company of those who proclaimed it:” Psalm 68:11 NKJV

He who gave the word also gave those He gave the word the people they need to proclaim it. He will plant a purpose in your heart, will also plant a people for the purpose in your life, to make sure the purpose is not terminated. You must understand this wisdom from above and tailor your live to it.

It’s not good for you to be alone after receiving Heavenly things from the LORD to birth on earth. Seek the mercies of the LORD for needed men and women to be released to you by the LORD.

IF THE LORD GIVES YOU A MARRIAGE, HE WILL ALSO SURROUND YOU WITH PEOPLE THAT CARE, TO HELP YOU ENJOY THE BLESSING.

Seek Him for them!

If the LORD gives you a business idea, He will also give you the people you need to actualize the Idea and move things from your mind to the ground. If the LORD gives you a child, you will not raise him or her alone. He will also give you people who will make the provisions and love available to raise him or her up.

If the LORD gives you salvation, He will also give you a pastor to help disciple you and raise you up in His fear. If the LORD gives you a calling or ministry, He will also give you an apostolic father or spiritual family to help you bring it forth successfully. If the LORD gives you a project to execute, He will also give you the men that you need to execute it.

If the LORD gives you a life to live, He will also give you people to help you enjoy it. Sometimes it is not those you expect that will be given to you, but those you don’t expect. People you have never seen before in your life.

The Bible says in proverbs 17:16

“Why is there in the hand of a fool the purchase price of wisdom, since he has no heart for it?” (NKJV).

I want you to have a heart for the wisdom of GOD in this devotional. I want you to spend time to meditate on these things.

There are people you need to unleash your destiny. Ask the LORD to bless you with them! Make it a burden for the new month!

Now, there are also some you do not need at all. Sadly, sometimes we stick to those we do not need and give no friendship to those we need. That was what Samson did. He never knew Delilah was not part of his destiny. There was no pastor or prophet to uncover her mission to him and save him from what she was about bringing into his life.

Sadly, she succeeded in her plans.

Relationships are doors to good or evil. It depends on what the person you are in relationship with worships, or is in covenant with. Someone need to take a stock of the kind of relationships that they have been permitting into their lives.

Someone need to spend this month asking the LORD to push away those they do not need out of their lives and bring in those they truly need.

The Bible says in Proverbs 17:17

“a friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity” (NKJV).

The elimination of adversity and the release of peace in our lives are the signs God uses to show us if whoever we have in our lives is from Him. In other words, as soon as the person comes into our lives, adversity will start dying.

Our lives will become filled with peace over time; both internally and externally.

It is a new month. God wants us to take stock of our interpersonal relationships. May the Holy Spirit take these truths further and cause a brighter light to shine upon you in Jesus precious name!

Happy new month!

MAKE THIS SCRIPTURAL PASSAGE AN ADDITIONAL MEDITATION FOR THE DAY;

“A man who isolates himself seeks his own desire; He rages against all wise judgment.”

“A fool has no delight in understanding, but in expressing his own heart.”

“When the wicked comes, contempt comes also; and with dishonor comes reproach.” Proverbs 18:1-3 NKJV

“A brother offended is harder to win than a strong city, and contentions are like the bars of a castle.” Proverbs 18:19 NKJV

“Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord:” Hebrews 12:14 NKJV
