TODAY’S DEVOTION (FRIDAY 30TH DECEMBER 2022)
“When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless. And I will make My covenant between Me and you, and will multiply you exceedingly.”
Then Abram fell on his face, and God talked with him, saying: “As for Me, behold, My covenant is with you, and you shall be a father of many nations.
No longer shall your name be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham; for I have made you a father of many nations. I will make you exceedingly fruitful; and I will make nations of you, and kings shall come from you.
And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and your descendants after you.” Genesis 17:1-7 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 364TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF AMAZING GRACE!
Who in the camp of those who made themselves our enemies had thought that we will see the end of the year? Who among them had thought that we will be here, safe and sound, witnessing the end of the year? None!
That was why the wished us death, sicknesses, failure, and even spewed judgment on us, as if they were the Judge of all, especially when we came out with the word on not pouring oil on the streets of the Cities of Kenya to sanctify them?
They did not just scream “deport him,” they said and did other things that spewed a lot of hate on us. We even heard of many preachers who organized prayers against us and against our ministries.
Some prophesied our end and said God told them to do so. Sadly, it was some of them that came to an end. That is why there is relative calm now.
The LORD indeed disappointed them and made them know that He sent us with that word. Deep inside the hearts of the apostles and prophets of error, oil, water, and altars of sacrifice, they knew the LORD sent us to rebuke them, but there was not humility of heart to accept the word of the LORD.
They just kept dancing to the gallery of tribe, nationality, accusations of not respecting fathers and all that.
Even Selman, one of the ‘mighty warriors’ so to speak, they brought from Nigeria to help them calm the storm of the LORD, ended up promoting his ministry among their captives, or let’s say members, and leaving the country with the bounties.
Today virtually all their members or captives are followers of Selman (it would have been better if they were followers of Jesus Christ).
The very members they wanted to protect from the word of the LORD on oil, still left their hands. Indeed, you do not contend with the word of the LORD. You submit to it in humility!
They lost in all fronts because they refused to submit to the corrections of the LORD.
Most of them sent a message to me saying “the oil worked because of the president they supported won the elections.” That was when it dawned on me that they were actually playing the games for political and financial gains not for the execution of the great commission.
That was why they were carrying oil everywhere instead of God.
GOD WOULD NOT HAVE FOLLOWED SUCH BREED OF PREACHERS IF THEY HAD SORT TO CARRY HIM AROUND THE CITIES.
In fact, a preacher who was part of their inner circle told me how much the leaders of the caravan made through their personal businesses. That was why they refused to come to the apostolic chat. They knew they will be exposed.
The souls they claimed gave their lives to Christ was just a smoke screen to deceive the naïve. We all know no one gets saved by reciting the sinner’s prayer. People get saved by renouncing the sinner’s life on daily bases.
They took a bow of silence because they knew, the more they speak to defend themselves they more they will expose their corruption. Indeed, the departure from the faith among these guys is shocking. Only the blind cannot see it.
During the world cup one of the so-called fathers of the land had to place a wide screen for people to come watch the world cup. The blind will say “what do you mean, is there anything wrong with watching the world cup?”
Well, there is nothing wrong with watching the world cup if you want to do that at home. What is wrong is doing what the missionaries never did to get us saved.
Those who erected the screen said they did that to win souls but we know there were world cups when missionaries came to Africa to win souls, however they never aired any of those matches on the screen.
Pele, who just died yesterday, was even playing then. They would have aired his matches to attract us to Jesus. But they knew better.
They were not here to play games with us like these so-called fathers are doing. They erected screens to showed us movies like “the passion of Christ” that got us saved.
By their ministries, it was made clear that you do not use world cup matches to attract people to church or to Christ. You use Christ to attract people to Church or to Christ.
But this simple wisdom from God has been withheld from the so-called spiritual fathers. The question now is, why would God withhold such simple wisdom from them?
WE LEAVE THAT TO US ALL TO ANSWER BY STUDYING THE BIBLE TO GET ANSWERS.
That was why God sent His word in yesterday’s devotional to ask if we are going to keep walking with them in the coming year or we are going to separate from them and walk with Him. We have a choice to make.
Yes, as the year comes to an end, this is the time for making choices.
We have to choose to either spend the coming year walking with them and what they have been teaching all along, or spend it walking with the LORD and what He has revealed in the Holy Scriptures. The two walks are not the same, neither do they have the same results! We can see that in Moses conversation with the LORD. The Bible says;
“Moses said to the Lord, See, you say to me, bring up this people, but You have not let me know whom You will send with me. Yet You said, I know you by name and you have also found favor in My sight.
Now therefore, I pray You, if I have found favor in Your sight, show me now Your way, that I may know You [progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with You, perceiving and recognizing and understanding more strongly and clearly] and that I may find favor in Your sight. And [Lord, do] consider that this nation is Your people.
And the Lord said, My Presence shall go with you, and I will give you rest.” Exodus 33:11-14 AMPC
From this scripture it is clear that what you get by walking with the LORD is His presence. And the presence will give you rest.
So, if you want to have rest in the coming year you will need to walk with the LORD to carry His manifest and indwelling presence. We will not need to walk with our prophets because they have become profane.
We can only carry the manifest and indwelling presence of God if we walk with God. If we walk with a prophet, we will be carrying instructions from them, oil from them, holy water from them, money to them, salt from or to them prayer clothes from or to them, and all that. None of that is the presence of the LORD.
THEY ARE ALL SPIRITUAL INVENTIONS OF THE PROPHETS TO GIVE US MIRACLES BY THE POWER OF BAAL. THEY ARE NOT THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD.
That is why God lamented in the Bible saying;
“For both prophet and priest are profane; Yes, in My house I have found their wickedness,” says the LORD.
“Therefore, their way shall be to them Like slippery ways; In the darkness they shall be driven on and fall in them; For I will bring disaster on them, the year of their punishment,” says the LORD.
“And I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria: They prophesied by Baal and caused My people Israel to err. Jeremiah 23:11-13 NKJV
This scripture further tells us what we get by walking with these prophets who give us gadgets. It says, they prophesy by Baal and make people to err by the things they give them to use. In other words, you get errors.
The text also said you get profanity, they make your ways slippery like their own ways.
They live in darkness and get themselves and all they minister to ready for the disaster the LORD will bring upon them in time or eternity.
It is important to understand that every prophet or preacher who prophesy, preach, or teach by Baal, will give you spiritual gadgets created by deliverance inventions to use in prayers and all that. But Prophets of God that are part of the five-fold ministry gifts will never give you any of that.
They will teach and train you to walk with God until you become His dwelling place in the Spirit here on earth.
That is why you should not spend one minute with gadgets giving, altar raising prophets, no matter the kind of miracles they can produce for you. Walk with God in the coming year and you will be filled with His presence, and it will give you rest.
HE SAID “MY PRESENCE WILL GO WITH YOU AND I WILL GIVE YOU REST.”
If you ask me, I will say that is all your need. He did not say “my holy water will go with you,” neither did He say “my anointing oil will go with you.” Those things are not the presence of God. They are weapons of empty deceit in some cases, and carriers of demons in others.
God’s presence is not in oil or water. Only demons can be carried in things like that. God’s presence is in people, and you are one of the people He wants to live in.
Stop carrying those gadgets that they use in playing charismatic witchcraft on people. Just make up your mind to walk with God and you will be a carrier of His presence in its full strength.
Our devotional text says;

This scripture is not about a change in nomenclature as presented by our prophets or fathers of faith. It is about a change in spirit nature. The day the event in it took place, was the day the foundation of what Jesus would later come to unveil in John 3:3-6 was laid.
If you go back to chapter 16, you will realize that it was the spirit nature called Abram that made him sleep with Hagar and produce the Ishmael mistake or distortion.
GOD WOULD LATER GO SILENT ON HIM AFTER THAT ERROR FOR 13 YEARS.
This day, He returned to him with a fresh word that began with statement “I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless. And I will make My covenant between Me and you, and will multiply you exceedingly.”
The statement marked a fresh journey that was based on a Change in his spirit nature that involved the circumcision of his flesh to seal a covenant of friendship. There is so much in that scripture that we cannot unpack here.
But understand that the covenant of friendship is a covenant of walking with GOD. We wrote extensively about it in our book titled: “Riding on Covenant Wings”
I think that is one book to get since the blessings God has prepared for you in 2023 will depend on your personal walk with Him, not your walk with any prophet.
You need to read gospel books that will help enhance your walk and talk with God in 2023, and that book is one.
As we bring this to a close, we encourage you to make 2023 a year of walking before God and being perfect in His sight like he asked Abraham to do. You can not continue your life as Abram in spirit nature; time to move into the Abraham dimension.
Time to come up with higher with the LORD and start walking perfectly before Him.
His power is there to help you!
Just find a good church and preacher who can plug you to it and plant yourself there from 2023.
If you left a good church that was doing that to you because of disagreements, time to jettison that offense in your spirit and go back there. Your soul is more important than anything else.
