TODAY’S DEVOTION (SUNDAY 19TH MAY 2024)
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved” John 3:16-17 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 140TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF IMPACT.

If you are not serving Jesus Christ, you do not know what you are missing. If you are falsifying your salvation, you do not know what you are missing. If you are living a compromising Christian life, you do not know what you are missing.
Yes, you do not know what you are missing, not serving Christ, not being truly saved, or not living an uncompromising Christian life. The Bible says, those who live that way shall flourish like a Palm tree.
The life of God they are living, will be beautifying their own lives. And let no one deceive you about that, the beauty of the LORD needs to rest upon you for your life to be meaningful on earth. The Psalmist said,
“Let Your work appear to Your servants, And Your glory to their children.
And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us, And establish the work of our hands for us; Yes, establish the work of our hands.” Psalm 90:16-17 NKJV
If you understand the power of the beauty of the LORD, you will want to live your days asking that it rest upon you. It is one of the forces that establishes righteous works. It makes sure the righteous things we do with our hands prosper.
The entire creation reflects the beauty of the LORD.
The word says, in the beginning, was the word that made it happen, and the word was with God, and the word was God. Like we said, it is the life of God that we live that puts His beauty upon us.
That life beautifies all that God called into being during creation. Everything was so beautiful until one of His cherub angels, who was an arch angel, fell into an iniquity that was found in him.
MOST TIMES, WHAT WILL KILL US IS LYING RIGHT ON OUR INSIDE.
It is important to understand that the iniquity that Bible talks about was found in Lucifer; it was not created in him, or sourced in God.
It was the fall of this cherub arch angel, that led to the beginning of the erosion of God’s beauty in creation. That was when darkness emerged. It was the reason the perfect earth moved into the chaotic earth, described as without form and void.
That is why the whole creation is still waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God, because the creation itself will be delivered from the bondage of corruption or decay, into the glorious liberty of the sons of God.
On that day, all that was lost will be fully restored. God will be able to restore all because everything created came from Him; that includes man, which brings us to another truth dimension.
The truth of how to live our days.
Man was outsourced from God to the earth. It was the fall of man that made man look earthly. It so damaged us that we lost all traces that shows that we are not from the earth.
Now, as beings that were outsourced from God or from Heaven, we were not designed to survive by living from the earth realm. We were designed to spend our earthly lives from the Heavenly realm that we came from. That is actually what redemption is all about.
Jesus came to make it possible for us to live the Kind of life man lived before the fall. He came to restore us back to a Heavenly life.
Our devotional text said;
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
Everlasting life is that very life we lost at the fall. It is a life that is outsourced from Heaven; a Heaven on Earth life. That was what man had before sin came in. When sin came in that life died. But thank God Jesus came and restored it back. Now we can have it again.
We can have a part of it in this life and the full of it in the next life.
Everlasting life in this life makes an earthly life supernatural. It is called “Zoe.” It kills diseases in the body of an earthly life and empowers it to live beyond earthly limitations. Everlasting life is the Zoe kind of life. If a natural life lacks the “Zoe kind of life,” it will grow weak and die rapidly.
It is the absent of this life in people that is responsible for all ailments and fatalities that take place through heart failure or cardiac arrest and etc. When this life is absent in a man, critical organs of his body will begin to fail.
The purpose of the Zoe life, among other things, is to sustain our kidneys, heart, lungs, arteries, bones and bone marrows, and all that makes the body function properly. The Zoe life is actually for divine preservation.
When the New Testament Church started in the book of Acts, it was this life that was driving those who got saved. It was the very life they were preaching to the lost about. Eventually, people began to respond and the devil that had held them down became angry.
He moved the authority against the Church, and some of the apostles were ceased, arrested and put in jail. Then God sent an angel to release them. The angel did, but in releasing them here was what the angel said to them;
“Go, take your stand in the temple courts and declare to the people the whole doctrine concerning this Life (the eternal life which Christ revealed).” Acts 5:20 AMPC
The word doctrine means teaching. Obviously, the doctrine of the Zoe kind of life – which is the eternal life which Christ revealed, was what the early Church was preaching about. But our Church generation has lost it.
That is why more Christians have become sick than even unbelievers. Many die prematurely, because of lack of the Zoe life.
Most of us live our days allowing the hazards of a fallen life to become a snare to us. We live our days outside the Zoe kind of life.
It is important to note that there are two kinds of life on the face of the earth; the fallen life, controlled by the fallen nature in every man, and the Zoe kind of life. You are living either of them right now.
God wants you to live the Zoe kind of life. He wants your inner eyes sharp in the spirit, your health supernaturally sustained, your inner ears receptive enough to pick frequencies from His throne.
He wants “the supernatural you” to emerge. That is the God we served. But “the supernatural you,” will never emerge, until you step into the Zoe kind of life and start living in it daily.
IT IS A MANIFESTATION THAT WILL NOT BE BY MIGHT NOR BY POWER BUT BY THE SPIRIT OF THE LIVING GOD.
The Zoe life actually flows from the Holy Spirit to the spirits of the redeemed of the LORD. It happens when the redeemed of the LORD embrace a life of deep intimacy with Jesus. In other words, if you are deeply intimate with the LORD, you will see the Zoe kind of life manifesting even in your mortal body.
The call to be deeply committed and intimate with Jesus this end time has become necessary because of the horrors of the last days.
A time is going to come, (and I fear it has already come) that if you are not supernaturally enabled to live the earthly life from heaven, you will be terminated prematurely.
As we bring this to a close, I want you to become passionate for deep intimacy. Let your soul hunger for more of Jesus. It will impart everlasting life into your life daily and save you from what destroys mortal men.
It will stir the Holy Ghost to quicken your mortal body in this life and secure it from the arrows of the wicked. It will kill the power of sin in your life and make sure your body is dead to sin and your spirit alive to righteousness.
You won’t fail in Jesus’ name! Amen.

“And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.” Romans 8:10-11 NKJV
