TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL (Sunday 4th July 2021)
“So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord.”
“Your garments did not wear out on you, nor did your foot swell these forty years. You should know in your heart that as a man chastens his son, so the Lord your God chastens you.” Deuteronomy 8:3-5 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 185TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF HIGHER HEIGHTS!
God have been faithful to us and has brought us into another day. It has not been by our might or by our power but by His Holy Spirit. Today we will be encountering a Rhema word that will position us for the moves of God for the now.
To start with, I want to submit to you that we are in the days of glory. When we say the glory, we are referring to the fullness of God on display. Actually, it is not just the fullness of God, we are referring to, but the fullness of everything because Satan also has glory to display in its fullness – a corrupt version of Gods glory that have stolen the hearts of men to follow him, doing his biding.
So if we say we are in the days of glory, you must understand that it’s not just the glory of God. Neither is it just the fullness of God. We are in the days of the fullness of everything good or bad.
If you look at the world today through the eyes of the Spirit, you will see either the fullness of God on display or the fullness of Satan on display. The enemy is manifesting in his fullness to stop the activities of God, and Heaven is also manifesting the fullness of God to stop the activities of the evil one.
That is why the apostolic emphasis for the now, is the mystery of godliness. The fullness of Christ taking residence in us.
We cannot deal with the evil ones of these end times with a Christianity in the out court or the shallow places. What is required now is the fullness of everything in God. Not half measures but full measure. John the Baptist described it as the Spirit without measure. We are in days where the Spirit is needed without measure, and there is a price to be paid for it.
ONE OF THE PRICES IS, THROWING AWAY THE SHADOW TO EMBRACE THE SUBSTANCE.
Friend, like I have always maintained, these are no longer days of praying with bottles of oil in your hands. We have done that in time past and discovered that there is more in God. There is so much to press into in Christ that is bigger than oil, salt and water.
God wants us to come into these bigger things in Him. And one way that happens is by the release of the Rhema word of the LORD conceding matters of His kingdom to us. That is why the prophetic feast code named, “7 DAYS, 7 MOUNTAINS” is necessary.
Please prepare to be part of it. Don’t trade it for anything. It starts today in Church in the Hall and will continue through the Morning Cloud TV, in a Church in the house setting. The Bible is made up of the logos and the Rhema; the spirits and the letters, the spoken word and the written word.
When you open its pages, you find the logos, the letters, and the written word. But when you open your spirit as you open its pages, you contact the Rhema, the spirit and the spoken word trapped in the written word. That is why we find genuine prophetic flow to be scripturally based and scripturally cooked.
God does not speak in contradiction to His written word. What we find in the Bible shows us which scripture to wait and meditate on in other to receive a proceeding word from Heaven.
Now I am not saying we stand on one single scripture then come out with a suppose proceeding word from the LORD. That is destructive.
The Bible is not capable of private interpretation. Scripture is designed to interpret scripture. And such interpretations can only be accurate if the person reading the Bible or preaching from it is GRACED by God to walk in the manifestation of the Holy Spirit as the Spirit of truth.
Sadly, many have stood on certain feelings and twisted scriptures to speak a suppose word from the LORD and destroyed both themselves and those who heard them.
IT IS VERY DANGEROUS TO TRY TO BRING A SPOKEN WORD FROM THE LORD WHEN YOU HAVE NOT BEING CIRCUMCISED BY THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH.
For instance, those who stood on the scripture that told us how Elisha poured salt into a stream and prophesied it out of its plague, have convinced us that GOD told them to used salt to pray for people. They said so standing on that story and making the immature to believe them. Heresies and false prophecies are conceived that way.
Yes, they are conceived when men and woman who have not sat under genuine apostolic grace try to preach the Bible.
They are conceived by inspirations that are not rooted in revelation or sound doctrine. They are rooted in prophetic feelings that are not truly powered by the Spirit of Truth. That is why you hear weird leadings of the Spirit from the mouth of many who claim to be hearing from God.
Yes, talking about prophetic feelings; every prophecy proceeds from a prophetic sensation or feeling. When the prophetic sensation is genuine, it will spew out authentic prophetic flow from the throne room of God, but if it is not, it will spew out something that is extra biblical, half-truth, or complete lies from the pit of hell.
Sadly, the prophetic feelings of most people these days are scooped from carnality and Biblical Illiteracy.
They are scooped from an internal fountain of corruption, spiritual ignorance, greed, covetousness and bitterness. That is why seed sowing prophecies, enemy killing prophecies, and prophecies on possessing other people’s possessions and even spouses have become the norm in the prophetic delivery of most Christians.
A Christian will hear from ‘God’ at one moment to join a particular Church and at another moment (sometimes after few days), he or she is hearing from ‘God’ again to quit. Others will hear from God at one moment to marry this person, and at another moment they will hear another thing that runs contrary; sometimes within the same week.
In such moments I have always asked myself if God was confused and stupid that He did not know, in the first place who the real wife or husband of such people was. But I know GOD is not.
IT IS THE PEOPLE WHO ARE STUPID, CONFUSED AND LYING ON HIM.
The Bible says;
“Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him. Do not add to His words, Lest He rebuke you, and you be found a liar.” Proverbs 30:5-6 NKJV
This scripture is a warning to the “GOD told me” and “GOD say” generation who lies on Him and say “He says” while He has not spoken a word. Friend, to receive a true Rhema word from God these days, your fountain must be pure and your revelation deeply established in sound doctrine.
Our devotional text today is very unique. A major Highlight of it says;
“So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord.”
The primary purpose why God passes His Children through hard times is to purify them. In this scripture, He made Israel to suffer hunger and fed them with just one type of food from Heaven. Apart from bringing them to a place in the Spirit, where they can develop a sense of value on the proceeding word, the other intent was to purify them.
God’s will, is that we be a prophetic people on the face of the earth.
However, we cannot operate accurately in the prophetic until we have been purified with the Spirit of truth by Him. And since many (either do not know this or) reject God’s purification process totally, sorcery and divination have now become the prophetic anointing of most departments of the end time Church.
If a prophetic flow is oozing out of you in spite of your sinful living and conduct, you are operating under the spirit of divination and sorcery. An unclean spirit is powering you to speak those words even if you are calling the name of Jesus or quoting the scriptures.
THE HOLY SPIRIT DOES NOT USE UNHOLY VESSELS WITHOUT FIRST WORKING ON THEM.
He will first purge and purify a man before using him to speak. That is why the primary hallmarks of the men and women God used in Bible days to speak prophetically was HOLINESS. They were first called “Holy Men of God” before prophets of GOD. But today the story is different.
Our prophets and prophetesses are lesbians and sex addicts. They are masturbators and liars. They prophe-lie and speak under a demonic anointing. They a greedy, covetous, sinful and dirty in spirit yet we call them “men and women of God.”
Even the lay Christians who claim to be moving in the prophetic are no different from these preachers. They have capacity to seduce men and women to sexual infidelity. They lie like the devil and still claim a prophetic call.
They practice all kinds of secret sins calling it weaknesses, yet come out with a prophetic tone that can only be something they stole from genuine prophet of God. They are money and fame driven. The love of money is stronger in their hearts than the love for God.
They are crafty, wicked, and vengeful. They take offense so easily and are good at pointing accusing fingers at others; basically to cover their wickedness and not the prophetic finger that brings a change. Of course, no wicked man can bring a positive change to anyone.

“Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.”
But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor.
