TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL (Thursday 16TH September 2021)
“And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.” Matthew 24:10-11 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 260th DAY OF OUR YEAR OF HIGHER HEIGHTS!
We give glory to our LORD God for this day. Not all who slept yesterday woke up this morning but we did. Not because we are more righteous than they. The lines are just falling for us in pleasant places because of our godly heritage in Christ Jesus and the things He wants to do with our lives before our time on earth is over.
We started this year 260 days ago and never thought it will be this great and good because of the darkness that covered most of last year. But God has promised us that when darkness covers the earth, His glory shall be risen upon us to protect us from the horrors of the darkness. And that we have seen in this year of higher heights, even as we prepare for the year of Amazing grace.
It is no longer news within the apostolic Family of the Cry of the Spirit Ministries that 2022 has been declared to us by the LORD to be our year of Amazing Grace. Genuine grace usually comes full of truths; liberating and sanctifying truths. That should tell us that the year will also be a year of amazing Truths, resulting in great liberations and sanctification of the elects.
The Christian Life is designed in such a way that if we are not filled with God’s liberating or sanctifying truths; if we are not told truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth about whatever concerns it, we will be torn into shreds by the enemy of our souls. That is why by God’s mercy,
I don’t massage people’s ego when I teach, preach or prophesy the word of the LORD. I tell them the truth in the most brutal way. I am called and anointed by the LORD to do so. That is why those who are listening cannot be brutalized by the enemy, the power of Sin, the mystery of Iniquity or the destructive consequences of trespasses.
HOWEVER, TELLING PEOPLE THE TRUTH CAN BE EXPENSIVE ALSO. I HAVE BORNE THE COST FOR OVER OVER 28 YEARS.
Sons of God will celebrate you, but sons of hell will detest you. But I have also been trained on how to respond to each of the contrary spirits. The LORD promised to give us a mouth and a wisdom that our adversary cannot gain say or resist. He has been faithful in doing that all these years.
It is because of the cost of preaching, teaching, and prophesying the truth that many prefer not to. While some who try to are easily shut down by the army of ungodly voices. They do not have the internal strength to stand the heat.
But the truth must be preached, taught or prophesied like our fathers did no matter the cost. Destinies are at stake. We must fix our eyes on them and keep opening our mouths wide with all wisdom, courage, and boldness, riding on the wings of the powers of the age to come. That was what our fathers did.
They told the truth and died for it but they rescued destinies as well. Stephen was stoned for it, Paul and John the Baptist were both beheaded for it but it propelled the authentic gospel from age to age. We must fix our hearts on what they fixed their hearts on, and keep the gates of our mouths opened, releasing life for the lost to the lost.
Jesus warned that a time will come that people who kill carriers of His testimony (His truths), thinking they are doing God a service. We have seen it happen in every generation. We must brace up for any eventuality.
Sadly, there are so many sons of hell today who call themselves sons of GOD who will happily kill us for telling them what the Bible says. I mean Bishops, prophets, archbishops and all that. We know exactly what is being planned against us. But God will not give us over to their teeth.
They convince themselves and take counsels together against the LORD and against His anointed. But what happened in the book of Acts will happened to them.
FRIEND, NO TRUE CHILD OF GOD WILL HATE A MESSAGE THAT CALLS ON HEARTS TO TURN FORM SINFUL WAYS AND EMBRACE GOD’S RIGHTEOUS WAYS.
No true Child of God will hate you when you scream against adultery, and extra marital affairs among preachers. No Child of God will hate you when you tell the drunkards calling themselves Bishops what the Bible says about their wickedness.
No matter how painful, convicting, judgmental it is, no true child of God will grandstand against a rebuke from the LORD. They will fall on their knees and repent because one who is a seed of God knows that God does not condone error or sin. He neutralizes them by calling them what they are.
The price the end time Church will pay for teaching, preaching and prophesying scriptural truths will not be small. People in Church (especially preachers) will be their greatest persecutors because the errors the LORD will neutralize by their hands have become streams of income for the preachers. The preachers will fight dirty because no one will want his money making machine to be neutralized.
I see many more shops that are ran as churches shutting down. I see key financial supporters leaving the assemblies; I see the LORD urging them to leave, leave and leave. I see them walking out boldly, protected from the edge of the swords of the perverted preachers by the glory of the LORD.
The LORD is doing all these to restore His church back to the way He started it.
You see, when error, half-truths or outright lies form the belief system of what ought to be the Christian faith, people will not last long in the faith that was once delivered to our Fathers; a faith that has holiness as fruit. They will slip into another kind of Christianity, follow another lord, and submit to another spirit that masquerades as the Holy Spirit. That is why the whole counsel of God is so important.
I have met quite a number of Christians who are good at coming out with a word from God. They will tell you God said this, God said that. God told them this and God told them that. Yet you cannot sense divine presence around them or godly character in their conducts.
MOST OF WHAT THEY SAY THE LORD IS TELLING THEM IS EITHER BIBLICALLY BASELESS, HALF-TRUTHS OR OUTRIGHT LIES FROM THE PIT OF HELL.
In fact, when you meet them the first thing you sense is a demonic presence, and since they, or those they speak to do not know how a demonic presence feels like in the spirit realm, they take their so called prophetic words as divine.
Unclean and lying spirits have been unleashed on so many Christians, giving them a false prophetic hearing that is sometimes accurate but not true. The worst part is the pride that oozes out of them; a demonic pride that will not let them humble themselves for too long and be free!
The LORD began to show me something about this sad spiritual development; things I have shared repeatedly.
He made me to understand that what has increased the plague of false prophetic hearing today is the spirit of offense and bitterness in so many hearts. The LORD began to show me things about this spirit and its interference with our faith – things we cannot exhaust in a devotional.
Our devotional text said,
“And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many”.
Do you see the connection between offence, betrayal, hate and the rise of false prophets in this scripture? God began to show me that offences, the feeling of betrayal, and hate has a way of attracting lying spirits to every soul. If it happens to believer, the lying spirits will come and begin to speak as God to him or her; giving birth to a false prophetic hearing.
That is why God strongly instructed us through Isaiah to shake off the dust of offence, feelings of betrayal, and hate from our spirits and souls.
Sometimes these feelings leave our souls and go to dwell deeply in our spirits, attracting all kinds of lying prophetic spirits to us, and making it impossible for us to even know the feelings are still there.
GOD WILL NEVER USE OFFENDED AND BITTER PEOPLE WITHOUT FIRST PURGING THEM OF THE FILTHINESS IN THEIR SPIRITS.
But how many offended and bitter people will be patient with the LORD until their spirits are purged? Very few! Most will rather will rush to become spiritual, ending up with lying spirits.
I have seen people operating in accurate but false and untrue prophetic anointing. Most of them are people who have been severely hurt in life. Intercessors whose wives or husbands treated so badly that they have to divorce them.
If you have been severely hurt in life, you will operate in this false-realm if you try to be spiritual. The pain of betrayal and the bitterness of the offence committed against you lying deeply in your heart, will make it impossible for you not to attract this false prophetic spirit that parades itself as the Holy Spirit in the spirit realm.
I am not writing this to hurt you but to partner with God to wash you so that you can come into the true prophetic realm reserved for the sanctified. Hate, feelings of betrayal, and offence will always attract the polluted prophetic anointing upon a Christian. There is not space to show you other Biblical examples.
There was a time we discovered that most lying prophets and believers with the false prophetic hearing in the Church today, grow up from the soil of life circumstances that created offenses and bitterness in them. That is why God will pass you through seasons of purging before opening the true prophetic realm to you.
We are living in days where the true spirit of prophecy that brings the testimony of Jesus is needed more than ever. God wants everyone of His Child this end time to be filled with the knowledge of scriptural truths which is only possible by the spirit of prophecy. He wants our spirits purged and sanctified for His use!
I pray that the Spirit of the LORD sit over our lives as a purifier of the Sons of Levi, so that we can unleash accurate prophetic hearing and come out of the many chains we have chained ourselves ignorantly in Jesus precious name. AMEN
