*TODAY’S DEVOTION (SATURDAY 3RD JUNE 2023)*
*”Whatever I tell you in the dark, speak in the light; and what you hear in the ear, preach on the housetops.”*
*“And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will.”*
*“But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.” Matthew 10:27-31 NKJV***
**WELCOME TO THE 154TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF SIGNS AND WONDERS!**
For 154 days this year God has watched over us, provided for us, protected us, given us revelation knowledge of eternal things, and set His eyes upon us! He has defeated our enemies, plagued those who hated us, and beaten our foes before our faces. It’s been from one victory to another.
This morning we shall continue with the flow of the revelation of things that our divine destiny will need to be fulfilled. We are here on earth, not for ourselves, because we did not create ourselves. There is someone who created us, and He did that for a purpose. We are here on earth for that purpose.
Vegetation was created to green the earth and make life beautiful for man. The sea, the oceans, the lakes, the springs, and the rivers of the earth, were all created for a purpose. Among other things, they were created to water the earth and to be a home for all aquatics. And the aquatics were created to swim in them and make life beautiful.
The land was created, among other things, to be the breeding place of all land animals and even humans. In the same way, you were created for a reason, that reason is called prophetic destiny. Your prophetic destiny contains the totality of God’s plans, visions, purposes, processes, etc. for your life.
Just as whatever God created needs something to fulfill the reason or purposes of its creation, so do you need certain things to fulfill why you were created. We have mentioned two of them. The word of the LORD has made us understand that we will need people to fulfill why we were created and that we will also need a word from the LORD, to live or die for on a daily basis.
In other words, a command from the LORD to be obeying daily! You can go back to day one and day two devotionals to refresh your memory on that.
In life, we are to spend each day attaching ourselves only to the very things we need, to fulfill why we are here on earth, not any other. And we will not be able to do that if we do not know them. That is why these devotionals are important.
**JESUS CALLED THEM, “THE THINGS THAT ARE MADE FOR YOUR PEACE”**
You see that in Luke chapter 19. If you do not spend your days with the things that are made for your peace alone, you will never know peace on earth. If you do not spend your days, only with people created for your peace, you will never know peace on earth.
If you do not spend your days following only what is made for your peace, crisis will be following you wherever you go; You will never be able to live a blissful life on earth, no matter how much you pray. The reason many of us have problems in life is that we spend our days with people and in places that were not made for our peace.
Often, we find ourselves doing things that will never result in a peaceful life. Things like lying, cheating, stealing, gossiping, getting angry even towards the wrong people; some eating what they should not eat, others sleeping with who they should not sleep with, some smoking or chewing things and taking substance into their system, thereby killing themselves slowly.
You will never live a peaceful and blessed life on earth, doing things that were not made for your peace, or living in a place, or with a person that was not made for your peace. Your destiny will never be fulfilled in such circumstances.
Your destiny will need only the things that are made for your peace to be fulfilled. It will need only the people who are made for your peace to be fulfilled. That was what we saw the other day. It will also need divine instructions that are made for your peace to be fulfilled. And do not forget, all divine instructions are made for our peace. God said in His Word;
*“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.*
**Do not be like the horse or like the mule, Which have no understanding, Which must be harnessed with bit and bridle, Else they will not come near you.” Psalm 32:8-9NKJV**
The instructions and teachings of the LORD are made for our peace. Mary said whatever He tells you to do, do it. Sadly, we have transferred such implicit obedience that we ought to give to the LORD to some prophets and so-called fathers, consequently causing us a lot of problems because they are not the Holy Spirit. Many of them just control our lives like witches.
The next thing we will all need to fulfill why we were created and placed here on earth is divine protection.
**YES, OUR DIVINE DESTINIES WILL NEED DIVINE PROTECTION TO BE FULFILLED.**
Divine protection is one of the many things God made for our peace on earth. That is a major thing that all with a destiny to fulfill in God, will need to fulfill their destinies. You see, all through the Holy Bible you see this truth expressed from chapter to chapter. If divine protection is not added to your divine destiny, you may have all other things right, but you will not live long enough to unleash why you are here on earth.
It is divine protection that keeps a man or woman of destiny, long enough to finish God’s will for his or her life. You see that in the life of David.
First, you see God protecting him from the lion, the bear, Saul, and all other enemies that surrounded him. All that was to enable him to unleash his divine destiny. If you read through the story of his life, you will find God making sure that, even when he was battle wearied, his sword remained strong and life secured. None could prevail against him.
The same can be seen in the life of Paul the apostle; He went through so much that ordinarily, he should have died in a few months after accepting Christ. The first year he opened his mouth to preach, the Jews stoned him to ‘death.’ The Bible says;
*“Then Jews from Antioch and Iconium came there; and having persuaded the multitudes, they stoned Paul and dragged him out of the city, supposing him to be dead.”*
*“However, when the disciples gathered around him, he rose up and went into the city. And the next day he departed with Barnabas to Derbe.” Acts 14:19-20 NKJV***
It takes divine protection to be stoned and left for dead and then rise to go back into the same City you were stoned to continue what you were doing before the stones came. It takes divine protection to be so treated and still have the life in you to travel to another city without being admitted to the Hospital for recovery. If GOD had not divinely protected Paul and the rest of the disciples, I do not think the gospel would have gotten to us.
**THE DRAGON TRIED TO DEVOUR THEM BUT GOD PROTECTED THEM.**
Your divine destiny will need divine protection to be fulfilled*. *When God gives you a destiny to pursue, God will assign angels to protect you. When God gives you an assignment to do, the Holy Ghost will be assigned to both empower and protect you to do it.
If you see yourself causing ripples in the camp of the enemy because you are doing a Holy Ghost empowered service in the kingdom, do not fear what may happen to you. There is a protection package for your life. God said through Isaiah;
*”Do not say, ‘A conspiracy,’ concerning all that these people call a conspiracy, nor be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled. The Lord of hosts, Him you shall hallow; Let Him be your fear, and let Him be your dread.”*
*“He will be as a sanctuary, but a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense to both the houses of Israel, as a trap and a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem” Isaiah 8:12-14 NKJV***
The same Holy Spirit, that is empowering you to do those things, is also protecting you at the same time from any harm, that might come from doing those things. That is why you read Jesus telling us;
*“Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Luke 10:19 NKJV***
The message here is clear. If the Holy Ghost uses you to trample on serpents and scorpions or step on toes that are destroying God’s will or work on earth, He will make sure that nothing by any means hurts you, thereafter.
The Holy Ghost does not empower a man to do a thing and then abandon Him when the repercussions come from hell. He is not a man that abandons his partner when the heat becomes hot! He sticks to His human partners to protect them from the backlash of the enemy after using them to do a work for God.
**A MAJOR HIGHLIGHT IN OUR DEVOTIONAL TEXT THIS MORNING SAYS;**
*“And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will.”*

Fear will cripple the hand of the LORD and hinder us from experiencing God’s protection over our lives. But faith will launch us into the realm of glory where God’s protection exists! That is why the Holy Ghost always tells His human partners,* “Fear not, for I am with you. Do not be afraid for I am your God.”*
You see, as a human partner of the Holy Spirit, I do not fear men, no matter how armed they are against me. I know One who can defeat their schemes and bring their enterprise to nothing, He can take away the breath from their nostrils in one night, if He so chooses. He is my Senior partner. Hallelujah!
What is the message of our devotional this morning? Your divine destiny will need divine protection to be unleashed. It will not need human protection except the human protection built around you by the LORD!
Fix your heart therefore on His word of protection for your life, and go on doing only the things He has called or assigned you to do; even if you are in the midst of charging bears and roaring lions, God’s protection will keep you beyond their reach! AMEN!
Divine protection is one thing that is made for your peace, so spend each day of your life pursuing it!!
