TODAY’S DEVOTION (MONDAY 28TH AUGUST 2023)
“Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.
For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving; for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer. 1 Timothy 4:1-5 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 240TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF SIGNS AND WONDERS
Welcome to another great day from our generous and kind Creator, Jesus Christ, who does not deal with us according to our wickedness, but according to our repentance and His mercies that it unlocks. We celebrate His mercies and faithfulness and the beautiful gift of life that He has given us.
For us at the Cry of the Spirit Ministries, it’s been a year of schooling in the deep things of God. From the first meeting about the circle of 12, that we had in January, to this day, it’s been a feast of the revelation of Jesus Christ and His plans for our lives. The Just concluded in-house apostolic summit testifies of that.
We urge you to request for all the messages. You will need them for the rest of your life, because they are a set prophetic messages that are to be remembered, over and over until destiny is fulfilled.
They are to be handled the way Joshua handled the book of the law. We are to meditate on the messages until the Break Through Prophesied comes. And that will not be possible if we do not have listen to the messages, from time to time.
A school in the things of God is usually a school of the Spirit, where the Holy Ghost teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. The meeting of our just concluded in-house apostolic summit was another school in the things of God. Like every other one’s we have had, each session came with a blessing intended by the LORD to speak in our lives for the rest of our lives.
However, for that to happen, we need to stay acquainted with the revelation knowledge that came during the school; we need to retain the revelation that came in our knowledge. The Bible spoke of a generation that does not retain God in its knowledge. If we become part of that generation, we will never see the blessings the LORD intends to birth in our lives born.
The challenge of retaining God in one’s knowledge can be huge. Yes, the challenge of staying acquainted with the revelation one got from an in-house apostolic summit like the one we just concluded can be huge.
You see, life is dynamic, so it is possible to get our minds engaged in our daily activities, which has the power to fill the mind with other things, and gradually remove from our minds the essentials that we need to hold unto, until the manifestation of God’s word take place in our lives.
God is doing a quick work to finish it in righteousness. So, get the entire message and schedule to be listening to it from time to time. I pray none of us will be left behind in Jesus’ precious name. Amen
IN OUR DEVOTIONAL TODAY, WE WILL BE LOOKING AT A RUMBLING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT FOR OUR AGE AND TIME THAT NEED TO BE RECALLED.
There is something Isaiah the Prophet spoke many years ago about Syria and few other nations that is already happening! I won’t go into that now, but if what we are seeing is true, then we the sons of God must begin to look up, because the Bible says;
“Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.” Luke 21:28 NKJV
There was this vision of a ball of fire that I had, when we were just few weeks old in Kenya. I had a vision where I saw what looks like a ball of fire, drop from the sky and consumed almost everyone on the face of the earth. Very few people where left!
I concluded that God sent that vision to let me know the urgency of the hour, and why I must be swift in my response to what He wants me to do in my New Apostolic territory.
Yesterday, we shared about tithing on this platform. Today we are going a step further.
There are things that are bigger than our human needs. When they happen, you will not even think of marriage, house rent, food, clothing, or any other physical thing. One of those things is death, another is the end of the age, and the catalytic Bible prophecies that are bound to happen. These things are bigger than our human needs, because when they happen, they will alter the course of our lives powerfully.
I feel strongly that the things that are bigger than our human needs are the things we should always be prepared for. God is closing the sin age gradually and things are happening.
Though I sense a short time of peace coming to enable the sons of light execute certain redemptive plans, the worst of world History is not too far from us. Our devotional text today is extremely prophetic.
IT IS A “RUMBLING OF THE SPIRIT” THAT WARNS US OF THE TIMES WE LIVE IN AS HEAVENLY MINDED CHILDREN OF GOD.
I have come to discover that if we do not pay attention to “the rumblings of the Spirit,” we will rot when the things the Holy Spirit might be rumbling about begin to take place. A major highlight of it says,
“Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, Speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron,” 1 Timothy 4:1-2 NKJV
These are the very times this scripture was talking about! There are doctrines of devils everywhere today, consequently many have departed from the faith and have delve into real occult and money-spinning practices. It has sent many away from Churches, and very few now gather in so many churches for Sunday services with most merger churches struggling to keep their numbers.
This morning I was reading a report of a terrible decline in Church membership in Nairobi.
The report said the people now prefer sitting down at home on Sunday mornings to watch Television. I believe some are following services that help them find God on Television and other online platforms, instead of attending church services where charismatic robbery take place and false doctrines are taught.
False doctrines have chased many away from the church. Only those preaching them do not know. Some have accused me of closing down their churches, but they do not know that its Christ that is closing them down because of the false doctrines they are peddling.
Friend, the greatest reason people no longer go to Church is because of the false doctrines on the lips of many preachers. From the doctrines of first born to the doctrine of evil altars, evil patterns, using of sand, candles, salt, etc. to pray, and to the doctrine of carrying prophets to one’s village to uproot some things. People are just tired of the nonsense. They now want God.
The doctrines that inflict people with fear for not tithing and scoop money from the poor, has sent so many away from the faith. There is a great departure from the faith today because of preachers, who do not understand the scripture or the power of God.
THEY LEAD LOCAL CHURCH ASSEMBLIES THAT ONE MUST WITHDRAW THEIR FEET FROM, IF HE OR SHE REALLY WANTS TO MAKE HEAVEN.
Those who are smart, lead Church ministries that look like Churches outwardly, but they are just tents of robbers and centers of dark religion by spiritual content. So many preachers major on earthly things at the expense of the eternal. That is the rumbling of the Spirit today.
Over 98 percent of present-day preachers do not know how to labor in the word and doctrine to form Christ in people! Maybe, it is better for the people to sit at home and find God through other channels than to attend such churches headed by such preachers.
The scripture made it clear that God has a rescue plan to mitigate this dark development and it is being implemented powerfully. Part of it was shared in our in-house apostolic summit. God will always make sure His redemptive plan for mankind is not sabotaged by dark shepherds.
Heaven knows that if something is not done quickly, the activities of the dark shepherds will keep sending so many to hell. And those who call themselves Christians, will be like the five foolish virgins who did not carry enough oil in their lamps. When the cry for the Bridegroom’s arrival would be heard, they would not be ready for Him.
God’s present plan will therefore mitigate this dark development and bring global rescue from the works of these dark spiritual leaders.
Now, there is something every one of us must ask ourselves. Are we ready for the King if He is to appear now? Are we living lives that are ready for Him, or we have allowed the works of the dark shepherds to stop us?
If God should withdraw His restraining force and allow the world to self destruct, maybe, by allowing nuclear capability nations to unleash their nuclear weapons on themselves, you know it will touch every nation under Heaven. If that happens, will you be ready to go meet your LORD and KING in eternity and see His blessed face, or you will be afraid of judgment?
Do you have sufficient Oil to sustain you every day? When I say “Oil” I am not referring to the anointing oil in bottles or Jars, but the works of the Holy Spirit in your life. Do you have enough work of the Spirit to sustain you these end times? Just think about it!
LET ME SHOW YOU HOW TO CHECK IF YOUR OIL IS SUFFICIENT, IN CASE YOU ARE SERIOUS ABOUT IT
How do you know if you have sufficient works of the Holy Spirit or oil in your life to make Heaven? The answer is simple. If you have sufficient works of the Holy Spirit or oil in your life to make Heaven, your will experience a sharp reduction or the total elimination of carnality.
In other words, you will no longer be carnally minded or strongly controlled by your carnal nature. You will become fully Holy Spirit controlled. The passions of your flesh will no longer influence your decisions.
That is when you will see yourself no longer driven by hate, the carnal passions of the flesh, pride, lust, sexual desires, and all kinds of the filthiness of the flesh and spirit. They will totally be buried and a beautiful life of moral excellence called “the crucified life” will spring up.
When that happens, you are in a good shape to meet the LORD.
So, until it happens, you must not rest as a believer. You must find a good Church that operates as ground and pillar of truth to help you. You must sit under apostolic authorities that will greatly help you.
It’s my prayer that the LORD uses this devotional to bless your day, fill it with good, and improve your walk and talk with Him. Amen
LET THIS SCRIPTURE BE AN ADDITIONAL MEDITATION FOR YOU TODAY;
“Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept. “And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’
Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’
But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’ And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut.
“Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’
