TODAY’S DEVOTION (THURSDAY 9th NOVEMBER 2023)
“If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!
Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.” Matthew 7:11-12 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 313TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF SIGNS AND WONDERS.
We bless the LORD our God for keeping us alive. We thank Him for being our LORD and King. He has been our shelter and amazing help. Today mark the 313th day of Him keeping us alive this year alone.
May all glory, honor and adoration be to Him in Jesus precious name. He remains the God who was, and who is, and who is to come. He remains our ancient of days; the one who began all things but has no beginning. The Bible says, He dwells in unapproachable lights.
Our devotional today will continue on the same flow as the previous ones. We have been looking at visionary living; specifically, the laws that governs visionary living. We have seen three of the laws, and are still on the third; the laws of visionary relations.
We have seen that there are visionary relations from hell, and there are visionary relations from Heaven. There is a class of visionary relations from hell that comes in form of ministers of the gospel. They have capacity to turn anyone into sons of hell.
Avoiding them is very important in our walk and talk with the LORD!
It is important to note that, Satan does not just have his version of visionary relations, he also has a version of visionary things. That is why the fact that something is visionary does not mean it is from God.
Understand that God has no monopoly of visions and revelations. That is why Paul called the ones from God, “visions and revelations of the LORD.”
VISIONARY STATE OR LIVES COULD BE FROM HELL, BUT LOOK LIKE FROM THE LORD.
They look like from the LORD because they are presented to those the enemy might be using them to target in the language of God. Do not forget, the Bible says when Satan step into the Church system, he does not come like a demon. He comes like a divine manifestation of God. That is why many call his manifestations God.
For instance, many lives have been ruined by visionary relations that came in the manifestation of God to them. That is why, the best way to avoid such in your life is to take the proper faith position that allows only visionary relations from Heaven into your life. Two days ago, we began looking at the first faith position to take, today we will be looking at the next.
Our devotional text says;
“If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!
Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.” Matthew 7:11-12 NKJV
What can we find in this scripture? There are spiritual laws in it.
But we want to look at the one that speaks to us this day about what we are considering. It holds the faith position to take in other to receive and keep receiving visionary relations from Heaven.
The law states that, “You must be a visionary relation in other person’s life for God to send a visionary relation into your own life.” Period! We can close this devotional at this point because a word, they say, is enough for the wise.
The truth is, if you are not a positive visionary relation, do not expect anyone to be a visionary relation from Heaven in your own life.
For instance, when Samson was busy being a visionary relation for all Israel, there was no opening for Delilah. It was when he relaxed that faith position and decided for marriage, that the door opened for Delilah.
WHENEVER WE SHIFT OUR MINDS FROM THE ETERNAL TO THE EARTHLY, WE CREATE DOORS FOR THE ENEMY TO USE IN LAUNCHING TERRIBLE ATTACKS AGAINST OUR LIVES.
MaintainingthisBible based faith position of being a positive visionary relation in the lives of others, will help in keeping your mind on eternal things, thereby closing doors for the enemy to use against you. Again, the word says;
“Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.” Matthew 7:12 NKJV
In other words, whatever you want to receive form others, give it to them first.
If you want to receive visionary relations form Heaven, be a visionary relation of Heaven in the life of someone. If you are not a visionary relation of Heaven in the life of anyone, you are not in the faith position to receive a visionary relation from Heaven into your own life.
In fact, there are chances that you will receive visionary relations from hell.
David was a visionary relation of Heaven, at home, in the battle field with Goliath, and in other people’s lives. Consequently, he received visionary relations from Heaven that made him king over Israel.
For instance, when he was a positive visionary relation in his home, he received a visionary relation from Heaven; God sent Samuel, the prophet to anoint him King and begin his journey to the throne.
It is what we are to others that times and chance will eventually create in our own lives.
Meaning, wewill never get good things from others, if we are not good people in the life of anyone. The Bible says at the appointed time for him to become King, what David did in the lives of others, as a positive visionary relation, was remembered.
It says all the tribes of Israel came to him; they were moved to crown him king, standing on how he had been a visionary relation of Heaven in their lives, in time past.
THEY MET HIM AT HEBRON AND CUT A COVENANT WITH HIM, MAKING HIM KING OVER ALL ISRAEL.
The word says;
Then all the tribes of Israel came to David at Hebron and spoke, saying, “Indeed we are your bone and your flesh.
Also, in time past, when Saul was king over us, you were the one who led Israel out and brought them in; and the Lord said to you, ‘You shall shepherd My people Israel, and be ruler over Israel.’”
Therefore, all the elders of Israel came to the king at Hebron, and King David made a covenant with them at Hebron before the Lord. And they anointed David king over Israel. 2 Samuel 5:1-3 NKJV
If you want God to raise men and women to function as His visionary relations in your life tomorrow, be a faithful visionary relation in the lives of others today. Do not look at their faces, because either they appreciate you or not, God will appreciate you at the appointed time.
Do not forget, when David was a visionary relation of Heaven in the lives of the very men who came to crown him king, there was no appreciation from them at the time. But at the appointed time they came to fulfil God’s will for his life, standing on good things he did in their lives that they never appreciated at the time.
You are the next for that kind of miracle.
So, make up your mind to be a visionary relation of Heaven in the lives of everyone around you. Find out what mantle you carry, what mandate you have from the LORD for them, and what ranking to operate from, and all will be well.
Child of God, enough has been shared for the day. It is my prayer that God will use these few thoughts to shape a life of visionary living for you in Jesus precious name. Amen
