TODAY’S DEVOTION (FRIDAY 17th NOVEMBER 2023)
“Open to me the gates of righteousness; I will go through them, and I will praise the LORD.
This is the gate of the LORD, through which the righteous shall enter. I will praise You, For You have answered me, and have become my salvation.” Psalm 118:19-21 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 321ST DAY OF OUR YEAR OF SIGNS AND WONDERS.
It’s been God’s faithfulness all through and we give Him the glory for the days of the year that we have seen. We are confident that the rest of the days will be full of His mercies, compassion and all we need to thrive in a wicked and corrupt world, in Jesus precious name.
It is my prayer that the God who came down as man to die on the cross, will be our sun and shield today. The Bible says;
“For the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.” Psalm 84:11 NKJV
If Jesus Christ the Sun of righteousness is your sun, the divine light and energy that brings healing, prosperity, deliverance, and peace will not be missing in your life. He will be giving you all the Heavenly light, heat of God’s glory, and Holy Ghost energy you need in your days of darkness, especially the darkness of a life of sin, satanic attacks, and the pressure from this world.
I have come to realize that most Christians no longer face attacks from the evil and corrupt system of this world because they have become part of it. They only face spiritual attacks from demons, because they now live within the spiritual environments where demons live – a flesh-controlled life.
Attacks from the evil and corrupt system of this world will be persecutions for following Jesus. Many are no longer persecuted because the Jesus they are following is the antichrist version not the Bible version.
Once you begin to follow the Bible version, you will begin to see the world move against you. The attacks of the devil and sin will cease in your life, but the dark world will begin to persecute you using even very close relatives who do not know the LORD intimately.
I WANT TO SUBMIT TO US THAT THERE ARE TWO JESUS IN THE PRESENT CHURCH, AND THAT DID NOT START TODAY.
The Bible says, “lords many, gods many.” There have always been more than one Jesus because of the devil’s moves. He counterfeits the true Jesus so that people can be misled through the alternatives he provides.
So, we have believers who are following the false Jesus, and we have believers who are following the true Jesus. You can only know the kind of Jesus you follow by checking out if you care about purity, holiness, or having dominion over sin. If you do not care about living a life of sin, then you are following the other Jesus.
The Bible says the true Jesus will save His people from their sins, and that those who have His seed do not commit themselves to a life of sin, calling it their weakness. It says;
“[But] he who commits sin [who practices evildoing] is of the devil [takes his character from the evil one], for the devil has sinned (violated the divine law) from the beginning. The reason the Son of God was made manifest (visible) was to undo (destroy, loosen, and dissolve) the works the devil [has done].
No one born (begotten) of God [deliberately, knowingly, and habitually] practices sin, for God’s nature abides in him [His principle of life, the divine sperm, remains permanently within him]; and he cannot practice sinning because he is born (begotten) of God.” 1 John 3:8-9 AMPC
If you look at this scripture, you will discover that people who follow the other Jesus, takes their character from the evil one, and lead a life of sin.
They deliberately, knowingly, and habitually live a life of sin, because though they go to church, God’s nature does not abide in them. God’s nature will only abide in you, if the Jesus you are following is the one of the Bible.
Friend, there is the Jesus of the Bible that gives us victory over sin, which eventually translates into victory over Satan, and over the evil and corrupt system of this world; and there is the Jesus version of the anti-Christ who cannot do that, with his servants and ministers saying “we are all sinners” and etc.
THE JESUS OF THE ANTICHRIST SPIRIT, GIVES PEOPLE OIL, WATER, SALT, AND ETC. TO PRAY WITH.
He asks people to raise altars or silence them in order to stop demonic attacks. He fills large church gatherings with people, but keep the people empty of God. He also fills small church gatherings with his works and keep the people empty of God.
He sits enthroned over their worship, that is why there is no transformational glory of God in their worship.
But the Jesus of the Bible is different. He makes us His disciples and gives us rest. He said in His word, “come unto me all you who labor, and are heavy burden and I will give you rest.” He does not give relieve. He gives rest.
We have been looking at what the Bible says about visionary living.
Visionary living in God’s kingdom is finding the true Jesus and allowing Him to structure your life according to His will, and spending the rest of your days on earth doing only what He assigns you to do with your life.
The question now is, which of the two Jesus are you following? The answer lies in what might be following you in life, not what might come out of your mouth.
What follows you when you follow the true Jesus is goodness and mercies; they follow you to give you rest without using salt, oil, water, or etc. to pray, and without raising or silencing an altar.
You must find a church that operates as a pillar and ground of truth to connect the Jesus of the Bible, because the other Jesus can be found anywhere.
Yes, the other Jesus is so easy to find today; you can find him wherever there is the use or buying of oil, water, salt, stones for miracles and etc. Wherever miracles happen by the use of gadgets he is there.
So, you can find the dark Jesus wherever dark miracles happen, and people throng there like bees.
But the true Jesus cannot be found anywhere. You must look for Him in the right places. The Bible says, “we will find Him only when we seek Him with the whole of our hearts.”
IT IS SO SAD THAT THE JESUS MANY HAVE FOUND IS THE ONE OF THE ANTI-CHRIST SPIRIT.
The one of the Bible is a Sun and a shield to those who find Him. Do not forget, our lives on earth are like that of plants or crops. If we do not have the Sun of righteousness in our lives, the kingdom of darkness will be having us for dinner, making our lives miserable.
The Bible says if the Jesus of the Bible is your Sun, you will not be involving yourself with sin or dark religion; and He will make the sun of evil powers not to strike you by day or the moon of dark religion and all kinds of witchcrafts, not to strike you by night.
If the Jesus of the Bible is the Jesus you have found, your life will constantly experience His grace, mercies, and glory.
He will continue to give you grace and glory, and no good thing will be withheld from you. That is why, if good things are being withheld from you, check the Jesus you are following and how you are following.
May the LORD who is the Jesus of the Bible, be our Sun and shield all the days of our lives.
May He help us NOT to find our feet within the gates of false anointings and mixed anointings. May our feet be at the gates of Zion all the days of our lives.
Our devotional text today is a prayer from the Psalmist. He prayed to God saying;

The Christian life is beautiful. But only the Jesus of the Bible can give us that life. He does that by making sure we find our feet at His gates; the gate of Zion, where we live under Heavenly portals forever.
Christians who follow the other Jesus live under the power of what they know as evil altars and all that. But those who follow the Jesus of the Bible, live under the portals of Heaven.
Christians who follow the other Jesus, have a different doctrine on their lips. They have the doctrines of altars, spirit husbands, spirit of rejection, redemption of first born, giving of first fruits, writing of prayer points, and allot of other false and heretic teachings.
BUT THOSE WHO FOLLOW THE JESUS OF THE BIBLE, HAVE THE DOCTRINE OF CHRIST ON THEIR LIPS.
They carry the Holy Spirit in their hearts, not oil in a bottle. They do not pray with water because out of their belly rivers of water flow.
They do not run after prophets, they camp around the more sure word of prophecy, the Bible. They walk in the narrow way that leads to life, not the broad way that leads to death.
They are eternity conscious, hence setting their minds on things above and not on things on earth.
Friend, part of visionary living in God’s kingdom is to follow the true Jesus. It is therefore important that you cross check the Jesus you have been following as a Christian, so that you will not be surprised in eternity.
LET THIS SCRIPTURE BE AN ADDITIONAL MEDITATION FOR US TODAY!
“If then you have been raised with Christ [to a new life, thus sharing His resurrection from the dead], aim at and seek the [rich, eternal treasures] that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.
And set your minds and keep them set on what is above (the higher things), not on the things that are on the earth.
For [as far as this world is concerned] you have died, and your [new, real] life is hidden with Christ in God.
When Christ, Who is our life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in [the splendor of His] glory.
So kill (deaden, [a]deprive of power) the evil desire lurking in your members [those animal impulses and all that is earthly in you that is employed in sin]: sexual vice, impurity, sensual appetites, unholy desires, and all greed and covetousness, for that is idolatry (the deifying of self and other created things instead of God).
It is on account of these [very sins] that the [holy] anger of God is ever coming upon the sons of disobedience (those who are obstinately opposed to the divine will),” Colossians 3:1-6 AMPC
