TODAY’S DEVOTION (Saturday 14th June 2025)
“Arise, O Lord, in your anger; lift up yourself against the rage of my enemies; and awake [and stir up] for me the justice and vindication [that] You have commanded.” Psalm 7:6 AMPC
WELCOME TO THE 165TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF VICTORY
I bless the LORD of heaven and earth for His marvelous deeds. His steadfastness never ceases, His mercies never come to an end. The Bible teaches that they are new every morning. This morning is not an exception.
One way God’s mercies manifest in our lives is by sending a word in season to us.
Words in season sometimes speak according to our season or His season for our lives. Your season has to do with the season of life that is upon you. There are those who are at the beginning of their lives, others are in the middle, while some others are journeying towards the ending. God has a word for each.
But His seasons for our lives are different. They are determined by His preplanned programs for us. The word that is coming today is according to His season for our lives. It is a word in season on divine vindication.
Yes, there are seasons of life that we need divine vindication. If this is not making sense to you today, or if you do not need it today, just keep the word on your wisdom shelf because you will need it sooner or later. The Bible says woe to the world because of trouble.
We live in a world where if you are not looking for trouble, trouble will be looking for you. It is a crazy realm. So, if you are not looking for vindication today, you might look for it tomorrow.
Have you ever said something even with tears and everyone, including those you thought should know better or believe you, disbelieved you?
Sometimes it might be because of improper communication. Yes, improper communication can lead to such. But there are times that even when you communicate properly, it will still not make sense.
THOSE ARE TIMES ONLY DIVINE VINDICATION CAN SEE YOU THROUGH!
Has someone ever lied against you so perfectly that you could not defend yourself; the only thing you could do was to cry, cry, and cry? You need divine vindication! Has God ever told you something and everyone doubted it, calling you all sorts of unprintable names, saying you made it up? You need divine vindication!
Have you ever been ill-treated and maltreated for something that was true that people thought was not true – maybe a word you were given to speak or do in the name of the LORD? You need divine vindication!
We have been called cult or evil doers, we have been demonized, persecuted and terribly maligned for preaching the gospel of our LORD and savior Jesus Christ. If not for divine protection, we would have been destroyed. Often, the enemy creates things around our lives that only divine vindication can deal with.
There are seasons of life that I have seen divine vindication manifesting as God allowing time to tell what your mouth could not tell or what your mouth told but people refused to believe you. Yes, there are times you will need that. You will need God to vindicate you.
Like we are being vindicated in Kenya on so many things we preached that preachers and their followers moved against us for. Today, they are even preaching same things in their churches, stealing the very messages they persecuted us for preaching.
Divine vindication is God speaking for you after a season of being ill-treated and maltreated for something He knows you never did, or you were right about. It is GOD saying to all who made you suffer for a thing you did not do “He was right” or “She was right”. It is God making time your witness. God vindicates! Yes, He does!!
I have suffered so many things in life unjustly that only a divine vindication saw me through. Sometimes our mouths are too small to convince people that we are innocent. But God has a way of doing it in His time.
I BELIEVE THAT TIME FOR SOMEONE IS COMING.
To be divinely vindicated is the sweetest thing that may ever happen to you. I have come to discover that there is what can be called “Divine settlement” in Christ Jesus. Instead of being vindictive for suffering unjustly, it is sweeter for a Child of God to wait for his or her vindication.
I sense in my spirit that someone’s vindication has come or is coming. Being vindictive will destroy you, but being vindicated will glorify God in your life. If you are being treated badly today, do not be vindictive, be patient. Your vindication is coming.
I trust the LORD sent this word this morning to tell someone who was disbelieved and ill-treated for either marrying someone He knows was God’s will, leaving a Church in God’s will, doing a thing right that everyone thought was wrong, or even bringing a word of prophecy that everyone doubted, that your days of vindication has come.
Yes, if you left a synagogue of Satan and everyone thought you have gone mad, do not be vindictive. Your days of vindication are coming. Keep following the LORD. When your vindication comes, God will be glorified in your affliction. He will use you to save those who are persecuting you now.
If you were cheated by someone and there was no justice, if you never stole a thing that they said you did, your days of vindication are coming. Keep following the LORD. If you are following the LORD, but people accuse you of following the devil, your vindication is coming.
If you have ever been raped, beaten, insulted, abused, robbed, bruised, cheated, and made to suffer unjustly by people you have no power over, even making everyone feel you deserve it, God sent this word to tell you, “Your days of vindication are coming.” He wants to carry out revenge for you!
YOU WILL NOT NEED TO DO ANYTHING UNGODLY YOU MIGHT BE PLANNING TO DO. JUST WAIT FOR HIS VINDICATION.
To be divinely vindicated simply means to be avenged for and delivered from by God. It means to be free from allegation by God. When Heaven provides or makes justification and defense for you, you have been divinely vindicated.
When God move to confirm a thing about you, your family, ministry or walk with Him, you have been divinely vindicated. As you pass through this season of your life, hold on to this word until it comes to pass. Trust the LORD for the blessing of divine vindication.
There are blessings God releases into our lives just to Vindicate us. He releases them basically to tell everyone that you were treated unjustly; He releases them as a defense for you. Such blessings are unique because they are vindicatory in nature. They are usually bigger than what the mouth can describe. The Bible says,
“He will make your vindication shine forth like light, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.” Psalm 37:6 CJB
When Joseph was thrown into prison what he never did, his vindication came after two years and those who accused him became his subject.
He had so many to forgive – not just his brothers. If he were not merciful, Potiphar’s wife and Potiphar himself would have been in for it. The blessing of divine vindication has a way of making you a master over your accusers. It is indeed usually bigger than what your mouth can describe.
Our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ, as man, came into this world doing good and healing all that was oppressed of the devil, yet the religious sets of His day hated him.
One day they conspired and killed him. It appeared as if they were right. He was no son of God as He claimed. Before He died two criminals were nailed by His sides as evidence that He was one of them. They did that to establish the lies they spread and discussed in their houses about Him.
FINALLY, HE DIED AND WAS TAKEN TO THE GRAVE. HIS DISCIPLES ALL RAN AND HID THEMSELVES.
It appeared His ministry was over, and His works finally erased. The great prophet who was going about saving others could not save Himself, many thought. But they never knew a third day was coming; a third day that will vindicate Him and wipe away all their lies and eternally establish Him as not just son of God, but King of kings and LORD of lords.
Sometimes when God wants to vindicate you, He will wait and allow the enemy to do His worst. Then few months or years down the line, He will send a resurrection to you that will make him speechless!
For Jesus as man He waited for three days but when it finally came the blessing was so strong that it erased all the lies that His death made people to believe about Him. Your vindication is coming too.
Your life may be covered with lies that people believed about you.
Maybe you have been serving GOD silently, but people took you for being a religious dog. Maybe your faith in Christ and desire to do truth has earned you some knocks and forms of shame and reproach.
God want to do something in your life that will erase all the knocks, shame and lies and give you a clean slate so you can do His will. Don’t bother to explain yourself to anyone any longer. Let divine vindication Explain it to them. Just wait for it because it will. When it does, it will change everything.
MAKE THIS SCRIPTURE AN ADDITIONAL MEDITATION FOR THE DAY!
“Judge and vindicate me, O Lord my God, according to Your righteousness (Your rightness and justice); and let [my foes] not rejoice over me!
Let them not say in their hearts, Aha, that is what we wanted! Let them not say, We have swallowed him up and utterly destroyed him.
Let them be put to shame and confusion together who rejoice at my calamity! Let them be clothed with shame and dishonor who magnify and exalt themselves over me!
Let those who favor my righteous cause and have pleasure in my uprightness shout for joy and be glad and say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, Who takes pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.
And my tongue shall talk of Your righteousness, rightness, and justice, and of [my reasons for] Your praise all the day long.” Psalms 35:24-28 AMPC
