TODAY’S DEVOTION (TUESDAY 24TH by FEBRUARY 2026)
Then the Lord said to him: “Go, return on your way to the Wilderness of Damascus; and when you arrive, anoint Hazael as king over Syria.
Also you shall anoint Jehu the son of Nimshi as king over Israel. And Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abel Meholah you shall anoint as prophet in your place.
It shall be that whoever escapes the sword of Hazael, Jehu will kill; and whoever escapes the sword of Jehu, Elisha will kill.
1 Kings 19:15-17 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 55TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF STRATEGIC VICTORY
We bless the LORD God of Heaven and earth for giving us life and another brand-new day. Days are seeds sown into our lives to bring forth works of righteousness – in other words, to work the works of the LORD.
Jesus says, “I must work the works of Him that sent me while it is day for the night comes when no man can work.” If He lives in us, we will be driven to do the same. That is where the application of God’s wisdom and revelation knowledge in our daily lives comes into play.
We cannot work the works of God with minds ruled or governed by information from this world. The Bible says, “Wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of your times and strength of salvation.” It is not just any wisdom or knowledge out there because a lot of what men call wisdom and knowledge are very dangerous to their eternal peace. It is the wisdom and knowledge from God.
That means we will never be strong and stable in life if we do not have that wisdom and knowledge running our minds.
Yes, it must be running through our imaginations, memory, emotions, intellect, and governing our will for us to do the works of GOD and develop a blessed life and the progressive stability that is required for living in an accursed world like ours. We have been called out of darkness into God’s marvelous light, to declare His praise and shine His light in a spiritually dark world.
BUT WE CANNOT DO THAT IF WE ARE LIVING IN SPIRITUAL DARKNESS.
A person in spiritual darkness will not be able to do anything in God or for God. That is why God will first give us light before giving us what to do. He will not want us to live in a state of spiritual darkness. Spiritual darkness occurs when we do not have His wisdom and knowledge in our souls. That is why we become better in life whenever we receive adequate wisdom and knowledge from God on daily bases.
It becomes like a light that shines in the darkness, and the darkness cannot comprehend it. Hallelujah!!
There are three things God put on earth to enable us walk in divine wisdom and revelation knowledge. In other words, to keep us away from spiritual darkness. Those things are, His Holy Spirit, the Bible, the Church and our will power. I have taught this repeatedly. I learned them from a seasoned theologian who wrote the foreword of our 4th book, BLAZING HOLINESS.
Now, there is one system God placed on earth to help us walk with His Holy Spirit, understand the Bible, plant ourselves in a good church and use our will power according to His divine will and ways. That system is spiritual. It is embedded in a person we call spiritual midwife in the apostolic.
If you do not have a spiritual midwife in your life, your relationship with the Holy Spirit will be down, and your understanding of the Bible either shallow or nonexistent. Once we do not have a good relationship with the Holy Spirit, and your knowledge of the Bible uncircumcised, our will power will become your greatest curse on earth.
Yes, there are people whose willpower is the very curse ruining their lives, but they put the blame on their father’s houses, some people they had issues with and many other things. When your willpower becomes a curse to you, life will be full of miseries. Hell will be closer and Heaven very far.
Nothing good will be coming out of the person’s life, and all they set their hands to do will not prosper. They could be in the best relationship on earth, or in the best job, family or marriage, but will never stay long in them.
GOD’S GREATEST DESIRE IS TO MAKE SURE OUR WILLPOWER DON’T BECOME A CURSE IN OUR LIVES.
That is why He placed the spiritual midwife system in His church to enable us live lives that our willpower will not function as a curse to.
Only a spiritual midwife can help us walk in the wisdom and knowledge that the Holy Spirt brings from God, understand the wisdom and knowledge from God in the Bible, find a church that teaches sound wisdom and knowledge from God, and use our will well.
Our devotional text is about three young men in Bible days that God gave a midwife to enable them to use their willpower properly and become all He has created them to be. They were Hazael, Jehu and Elisha.
These men were destined to do great things for God, but without someone who will guide them, all that was in danger. God in His infinite mercy stepped in by sending a spiritual midwife in the person of Elijah to help them out. Today we are still discussing them.
If you are gifted, talented, graced with an uncommon grace, that is not enough to help you fulfill divine will. A spiritual midwife will be needed. Yes, you will need someone sent from God the way the three needed an Elijah to become all that heaven has destined you to be. A major highlight of the devotional text says:
“Go, return on your way to the Wilderness of Damascus; and when you arrive, anoint Hazael as king over Syria. Also you shall anoint Jehu the son of Nimshi as king over Israel. And Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abel Meholah you shall anoint as prophet in your place.”
Time to bow the knee in prayer and ask the LORD for your own Elijah, the way Paul was to Timothy, and Titus. Time to seek the LORD for a spiritual midwife, if you have not been given one.
If you have been given one already by the LORD, then seek the LORD to help you not to be separated from him or her, because once the LORD gives us one, there are only two things the enemy can do to prevent them from doing their work in our life. The first is to fill us with blindness, through misinformation about them, slander, blackmail, offences or disinformation.
The second is to create crisis between us and them so we can get away from them, that is if there is no blindness or confusion in our hearts on who they are to us.
The Bible call the spiritual midwife system fathering or spiritual outsourcing agents. They are people who can travail in spiritual brith for us or lay down their lives for us to become all that God has called us to be. Amen!!

I do not write these things to shame you, but as my beloved children I warn you.
