TODAY’S DEVOTION (WEDNESDAY 25TH MARCH 2026)
“And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.”
“And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days.” Joel 2:28-29 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 84TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF STRATEGIC VICTORY
I started ministry before I was 16 years of age, and was immediately plunge into the strife of tongues and the spears of the wicked lips. They pierced my young soul for a long time and almost killed my calling. It was during that period I developed many Bible base persuasions that has kept me in life.
Who told you afflictions are not good? They are the purifying zones of sons. That is why the Bible says, many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivered them out of they all.
One of the persuasions I developed through the help of the Spirit of the LORD says, “if God be for us, it takes a fool to be against us!” That laid the foundation for most of what we see in our present-day apostolic teaching ministry. Standing on this persuasion has unleashed so many miracles into our lives and through our hands.
Child of God, we have seen so many miracles since we came to East Africa for ministry. God has been strategically intervening in the battles the enemy has been mustering against us. To Him be the glory!!!
I grew up to discover that the best way to live on earth is to lead a life that is submissive to Christ and to spend each day, week. Month and year doing just His blessed will! My experiences brought me to the place of saying:
“But life is worth nothing unless I use it for doing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus-the work of telling others the Good News about God’s mighty kindness and love.” Acts 20:24 TLB
I HAVE FAILED SO MANY TIMES IN MY WORK WITH GOD, BUT MY GREATEST SATISFACTION IN LIFE COMES WHEN I AM DOING WHAT HAS BEEN ASSIGNED TO ME BY THE LORD JESUS.
Yes, I reiterate again that I have failed several times and disappointed Him in so many ways. I also have sometimes, especially in those growing up years, desecrated with sin, iniquity and trespass, but He always came through for me, He always appeared by His Holy Spirit, and always lift me up to set me back on my feet.
I have grown up to discover that God covers our sins when we do not wickedly depart from His ways. Yes, He even covers them when we wickedly depart but return to Him in genuine repentance. I have seen Him do this in my life over the years. He can do it in your life.
He will never comfort you in sin. He will never allow a life of sin to become your life. He will always come to purify you and lift you up from the valley. Sadly, sometimes even after such intervention, we are left with the scars of touching sin, iniquity or trespass. The reason is for spiritual reminders.
One reason I scream against sin is because of what it did in my life and the scars left behind. For me, sin is the greatest enemy, not cures, poverty etc. A sin that has no immediate consequence should not be continued; it will become nuclear in destruction if we continue in it. I learnt that in those growing up years.
One door that has always led us to sin is the foolishness of not spending our days as we should. There is a pattern for our lives. If we do not live our life according to it, we will mourn. I encourage you this morning to start spending your days as you should. Stop comparing yourself with people. There is a plan of God for your life, follow it. Compare yourself with it.
Start living your days according to the pattern the LORD carved out for you. People may not understand you, just follow it. Live your days doing only what you can prove that Jesus assigned to you. People may mock you, do not worry. A time will come when they will understand and even celebrate you.
THERE IS WISDOM IN SPENDING YOUR DAYS DOING ONLY WHAT JESUS ASSIGNED YOU TO DO.
That is the wisdom that many are yet to come to terms with. It gives you all that Jesus offers for those who serve Him. It keeps the Holy Spirit working in your life. It positions you for His constant out pourings, the initial and subsequent. With His constant outpouring, you will be safe and sound even if the entire sorrows of hell are poured upon your life.
That is why one of the major fights of faith that you must always fight, is the fight against anything, doctrine, paradigm or tradition that will keep your life outside the constant outpouring or refreshing of the Holy Spirit.
Prophetically speaking, you will find one of the greatest hindrances to having the genuine infilling of the Holy Ghost to be a Christianity that is mixed with worldliness. That kind of Christianity uses anointing Oil in place of the authentic anointing of the Holy Ghost.
It makes you feel that the Holy Spirit is in the bottle of oil. But the true anointing of the Holy Ghost cannot be put in a bottle.
God wants it in your life. And the Only way you can have it is to receive what we call an outpouring of the Holy Ghost upon your life. Our devotional text today is a prophecy that is yet to be fulfilled in the lives of so many because of this anointing oil madness that we got stuck in. It says;
“And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.
The apostles got this outpouring, and their lives became pillars of God’s fire and glory in the ancient world. Your life will become a pillar of fire spiritually if God pours the same Holy Spirit upon you. You will be animated to operate the wisdom of God and to do supernatural things like the early Church.
Simply put, you will be turned into another man!
Friend, if you want to become a devil chaser instead of being the one chased by devils, you do not need the anointing Oil in a bottle that your Bishops call “power instruments,” you need an outpouring of the Holy Ghost. Anything about God you limit to a bottle or other things makes you a sorcerer and a charismatic witch.
God want to pour His Holy Spirit into your life and turn you into a small “G” on the face of the earth so you can join the angels in the invisible realm to convert the Kingdoms of this world into that of God and of his Christ. He wants to pour what will baptize you with supernatural wisdom.

For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.” Acts 2:38-39 NKJV
