TODAY’S DEVOTION (Wednesday 5th February 2020)
“For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it.”

“So I swore in My wrath,’ They shall not enter My rest,'” although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.” Hebrew 4:2-3 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 36th DAY OF OUR YEAR OF REJOICING
As we get closer and closer to the consummation of all things and the final return of our LORD and savior Jesus Christ, the Bible made it clear that the mystery of God shall be finished.
Meaning, we shall come to a perfect understanding of hidden truths in God! I remember mentioning this on Sunday during our live broadcast on Citizen Tv and the Moring Cloud Television!
Yesterday, we focused on one major way to get supernatural financial assistance. I want to suggest that you print out and save yesterday’s devotional because it’s a lifetime truth that guides us on how to get supernatural financial assistance.
Today our devotional word will be about the lessons we can draw from family life. It will be simple, instructive, and maybe deep!
To start with, barrenness and fruitfulness in marriage has a lot of lessons to teach the end time Christian. While in some cases it is the seed of a man that is responsible for bareness, in other cases it is the womb of the woman.
No matter how fruitful the womb of a woman is, if the seed of the man that enters it is bad it will never get the womb of that woman pregnant with Child. On the other hand, a Fruitful womb is the key to conception. If the womb of a woman is not fruitful, no matter how powerful the seed of a man is, that womb will never conceive a Child.
What spiritual truth can we draw from this natural reality? The seed of a man represents the word of the LORD, and the womb of a woman represents the spirit of man. I want to admonish that you bend your spiritual ears to listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit as you read through this devotional.
There are Christians whose spirits cannot conceive anything no matter how powerful, effective, anointed, sanctified, miracle-producing and deep the word of God they hear is. In the spirit, conception is the key to delivery; in simple terms, what have not been conceived in your spirit cannot be born in your life.
It is what we conceive in our spirits that God will make to be born in our lives. In other words, it is what our spirits are pregnant with that time process into our lives. If our spirits conceive nothing good, our lives will be barren of all good things, because time will process nothing good out of our lives.
This is a very powerful principle. That was why GOD brought Abraham out to see the stars in Genesis 15 so that his spirit can conceive something in line with his prophetic destiny. The essence was to give time what to process into Abraham’s life. And it worked after. Today Abraham has descendants like the stars of the sky!
GOD HAS SPOKEN TO US ABOUT THE YEAR OF REJOICING. HAS YOUR SPIRIT CONCEIVED IT? IF THE ANSWER IS NO, THEN YOU ARE IN TROUBLE!
In the Kingdom of GOD things work differently. If a word of favor, prosperity, healing, deliverance, or holiness comes from the LORD as a living seed (not just some empty words) to your spirit – either directly or indirectly to you – and your ear hears it but your spirit did not receive or conceive it, there will be no manifestation of that word in your life. That is the secret.
Satan knows this very well, that is why He fills us with negatives that we even see in our dreams. These negatives get printed into our lives by time.
Like I shared on Sunday, people spend so much time worrying. Especially worrying about things, they cannot change. And Jesus said we should not worry. Now, why did Jesus say so? The reason is simple. Among other things, worry is one way we get our spirits pregnant with the negatives of life, giving time negative things to print out in our lives.
Instead of worrying, we should meditate in God’s word. That is how to get our spirits pregnant with positive things thereby giving time Heavenly things to print out in our lives. Whenever we sit under our spiritual fathers and receive words from them (not charlatans or expired prophets) we are to allow those words to impregnate our spirits so that time can print them into our lives.
People who sit under wrong anointing will receive bad things that time will print into their lives as well. We must sit under men and women of God with the anointing of the Holy One, not people with the anointing of the anointed cherub.
Concerning the Jews, our devotional text said, “The word did not profit them because it was not mixed with faith in them that heard it”. Consequently, they did not enter God’s rest.
Here is the message, “Until a fruitful and living word meets a fruitful and living spirit over time, a man’s life will never come into God’s fullness and rest for it.
Often, we are troubled on every side and even blame God’s servants for our problems, particularly when they speak a word to us that we do not see it’s manifestations in our lives. While in some cases it is the word of the preacher that is responsible for the lack of manifestation in other cases it is the spirits of those who may have received it that is the problem.
DAVID SAID, “THE ENTRANCE OF THY WORD GIVES LIGHT.”
It means when the word of the LORD enters a man’s spirit, it will produce something in the man. However, if the word that enters is dead, empty and unfruitful and your spirit is alive and fruitful, it will not give you anything good. There will be no rest in your life. Just relive!
On the other hand, if the word is alive, full of revelation, and fruitful, it will not profit you as well if your spirit is dead, unfruitful, and empty of God. A rich, living, and fruitful word and a rich, living, and fruitful spirit must meet for any turn around to occur if you are in the kingdom of GOD.
Words are seeds; they are medium of transaction between Heaven and earth. They bring blessings from Heaven to a man’s life. However, until they enter your spirit and plant a spiritual picture of what God is saying to you in it, your life will be barren of the manifestations of that word. A fruitful spirit meeting a fruitful word is therefore the key to the manifestation of God’s promises in a man’s life.
Are there things that you are yet to enter into as a Child of God? Are there blessings you are yet to come into? The key to coming into them lies in the truths you have just encountered in this devotional today. Get your spirit full of God. Make it alive and fruitful. Then locate a preacher with a true, living, and rich word that will meet your need and feed on it. Over time, there will be a conception and you will come into the manifestation.
As you embrace this glorious day, spend the rest of your life meditating on these glorious truths.

I have often rebuked people who listen to God’s teachings on my lips and come out with nothing in their lives after a long time. It saddens me deeply because the word the LORD brings to us is always rich, alive and fruitful. But the spirits of most of those who read or hear me are empty of God, dead, and unfruitful.
Consequently, others celebrate the acts of God in their lives after hearing me preach or reading my books and online devotional like this, and some do not even see anything in their lives and withdraw. It saddens me because God wants all healed! He wants all delivered, blessed, built, and beautified. But those who are unfruitful, dead, and empty in spirit are denying Him that. They are robbing Him of seeing His glorious plans for their lives come to pass.
Now, how do we get our spirits full of God, alive and fruitful? That will be our consideration in tomorrow’s devotion.
