TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL (Sunday 13th December 2020)
“This was the Lord’s doing; it is marvelous in our eyes. This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 118:23-24 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 347TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF REJOICING
Daily as we match slowly and slowly to the end of this year and get closer and closer to the another, it is important, like I had affirmed in other devotionals, to have an attitude of gratitude before the LORD.
Indeed, like our devotional text put it, this is the day the LORD has made, we shall rejoice and be glad in it. The LORD GOD has commanded our strength, that is why we are all awake this morning. Except He is passing you through a test and trial period, it is impossible with Him for His own not to have a glorious day each day.
I am confident that today will be a glorious day for all of us even as we prepare for corporate fellowship!
Eschatologically, I want to submit that we are in the final days of the earth. In the light of eternity, we have just a little time left for the LORD to appear. That makes today part of the final days set aside for life on earth, hence part of the end times.
We may have 200 more years to live or even more but final days are final days. From the day Jesus resurrected, Heaven have been calling our season final days or end of days!
The Bible said a day to God is like a thousand years to us! So we are in God’s final days for the earth. We are in the finals days of His redemptive activities, finals days of His redemptive moves and plans, final days of bringing the sin age to a permanent end, yes, final days of returning man back to Genesis 1 and 2.
Today and many years to come, if Christ tarries, is part of God’s final days!
Final days are very important days. Sadly, many in our day, just like the generation of Noah, do not know that! If we all know, we will be living our lives differently. The Generation of Noah did not know, hence destroyed by the flood. It seems to me that the same lot will fall on our generation; there is a destruction coming that our generation do not know about.
In the days of Noah, the earth was destroyed with water, in our days it will be with fire. Are we ready for this cataclysmic event? Are we living ready for it? Do many of us know that we are in a terminal generation?
The purpose of the Morning Cloud Television is to get people ready for the cataclysmic event that is on its way; that is part our mission even at the Apostolic Center of the Cry of the Spirit Ministries. In the days of the Bible, it was Noah God used, in our days we are among those He is using.
Every terminal generation will have some one used of the LORD to bring the Cry of His Spirit to that generation. The person or people will always preach messages that will not be popular with people because of the wickedness of their hearts, but will be significant. They always serve as God’s mercy to that generation, bringing His warning finger to them.
The Bible says God will always have a witness for Himself in every generation. The voices He raises in terminal generations do serve as His witnesses in such generations.
ON A LIGHTER NOTE, THEY ARE THE REAL JEHOVAH’S WITNESSES
A generation that lives in final days is called a terminal generation.
Let me re affirm again that the generation of Noah was a terminal generation. Ours is also a terminal generation. But like the people of the generation of Noah never realized it so are people in our days not realizing it.
The generation of Noah did not spend its days as people living in God’s final days. We are not spending our days like people living in final days! People who live in final days are to spend their days differently; basically looking inward and considering things they will not normally consider even as the pay rapt attention to the Cry of the Holy Spirit.
Friend if you look at the generation of Noah and what God called Noah, you will realize that final days are days of listening only to preachers of righteousness. The Bible called Noah, a preacher of righteousness. The people of His days refused to listen to him; they refused to listen to a preacher of righteousness.
No wicked soul in Church or outside the church will be comfortable with a preacher of righteousness. They will call them names and say all manner of nonsense about them. They are reacting to the demand God is using those preachers to place on their lives; the demand to align with God’s ways.
I have seen and heard of people who hate me with passion, yet I did nothing to them. In fact, some of them have not even had any contact with me. At first I was worried then I begin to realize where the problem really is; the Cry of the Holy Spirit on my lips.
Child of God, you may not like it, but these are days of listening only to the true Jehovah’s witnesses. The reason is simple. They are the carriers of the ideal message for a terminal generation.
The ideal messages Heaven sends to the earth in final days are basically messages of heaven worthiness not earth accomplishments. The ideal messages are not motivational speeches and talk shops. They are not empty gospels that excites the souls of the lost but does nothing to prepare them for the next life.
THE IDEAL MESSAGES TO LISTEN TO TODAY, IF YOU LOVE YOUR SOUL, ARE MESSAGES ON HEAVEN WORTHINESS.
Jesus said,
“For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.” Matthew 24:38-40 NKJV
These are the wrong days to live your Christians life in a state of not knowing.
The prophetic state of not knowing can be very dangerous. That was the state the generation of Noah lived. If we live in a state of not knowing, we shall likewise perish like they did. The Bible says their earthly desires and the carnal crave to satisfy them placed them in a state of not knowing.
It says “and did not know until the flood came and took them all away.”
These are days of asking ourselves questions of eternal life!
These are days of pursuing the knowledge of God in other not to live in a state of not knowing. The Bible says other forms of knowledge shall increase in our days, making men to run to and fro like the Devil himself.
Prophetic History has proven that the increase of any form of knowledge outside God is primarily to defeat men’s desire to pursue the true knowledge of God and live in a state of knowing. They will be severely attacked not to know what they ought to know in the critical seasons they live in.
They will be attacked through seduction and other things.
You see, one of the greatest attacks of the devil on People living in final days is seduction; the seduction to detach from ministers and ministries that will keep people live in a state of knowing.
PAUL SAW IT AND PENNED DOWN THESE GRACIOUS WORDS TO HIS SPIRITUAL SON TIMOTHY, SAYING;
“I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom:
Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all long-suffering and teaching.
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.” 2 Timothy 4:1-4 NKJV
Every prophetically sane person knows that we are right in this very time.
So many have fallen prey of the devil and have been detached from ministries and ministers of the gospel equipped with the word to keep them in a state of knowing. Others are literally being kept attached to ministers and ministries that are not helping them at all so long as these seasons are concern.
This is the wrong time to live in a state of not knowing. This is the wrong time to worship in a Church where all manner of what they call deliverance is done on you to keep you in a state of not knowing. When you live in a state of not knowing, Satan will convince you that you know better than others.
He will use the preachers and Churches keeping you in such a state to inflate you with spiritual pride, making you feel you are very knowledgeable, yet you are ignorant, blind, poor and naked in God’s sight.
Many lived in a state of not knowing until they came to the spiritual fountain of the Cry of the Spirit Ministries. They led earthly based Christian lives until the LORD brought them here and begin to talk to them.
It is a wrong time to lead your life attached to preachers that talk about earthly success. It will place you on the path of leading an earth base Christian life. It will never encourage you to lead a Heaven based Christian Like like our fathers, who spent their days looking for that City which has foundations, which maker and builder is GOD.
No one who leads a Heaven based Christian life fails even in a terminal generation. That was why Noah and his sons were the only ones who succeeded at the end. They led the life of pilgrims in their terminal generation; the very life to lead in any terminal generation. They made it just because of that.
They are now our template 1 Their father was a preacher of righteousness and them listeners to preacher of righteousness.
FORGET HOW NOAH FELL AFTER THE FLOOD. LET US STICK TO THE BEFORE THE FLOOD EVENTS OF HIS LIVES.
God called this man a preacher of righteousness and showed us who to listen to in a time like this. The Bible says;
“For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment;
and did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the ungodly;” 2 Peter 2:4-5 NKJV
I believe there were other preachers other than Noah in his days; preachers without Heaven’s seal on their ministries. People God could not use to seal His elects with grace for the season. Those who listened to them never made it. Only those who listened to Noah made it.
It is important to note that Heaven making should be the greatest desire of a Child of God today. If you will make to heaven these season, do not listen to a preacher without the pre-flood Noah Spirit in our age.
Heaven’s approved preachers for our age are preachers with the pre-flood Noah Spirit. The Noah Spirit is the working of the Holy Ghost in Noah to function as a preacher of righteousness in a terminal generation. The Bible says;
“By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.” Hebrews 11:7 NKJV
That is what the Noah Spirit will do today! It will move a preacher to prepare his people to be saved from approaching global judgments. It will make eternal relevance and Heaven worthiness the drive of its ministry.
Our devotional text said
“This was the Lord’s doing; it is marvelous in our eyes. This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.”
Yes, the only way to rejoice and be glad in days that the LORD has made is to give the word of the LORD sent in those days the attention it deserves.
I believe the LORD has spoken to us this morning like Noah did. It is important that we respond to him adequately and reap the benefits of proper response.
MAKE THIS SCRIPTURE AN ADDITIONAL MEDITATION FOR THE DAY!
“Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. So the Lord said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them.”
But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.” Genesis 6:5-8 NKJV
