TODAY’S DEVOTION (SATURDAY 25TH FEBRUARY 2023)
“Now He was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath. And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bent over and could in no way raise herself up.
But when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and said to her, “Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity.” And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.” Luke 13:10-13 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 56th DAY OF OUR YEAR OF SIGNS AND WONDERS!
We give glory to the LORD God for another last day of the week. It has been God’s mercies, kindness, compassion, goodness, miracles, peace and progress all along.
On this journey of faith alone, we have seen so much about the supernatural. He has filled our hearts with wisdom and knowledge, and the more we read these things, the more we realize that we do not know anything and therefore, need to know everything. The Bible says;
“The LORD is exalted, for He dwells on high; He has filled Zion with justice and righteousness. Wisdom and knowledge will be the stability of your times, And the strength of salvation; The fear of the LORD is His treasure.” Isaiah 33:5-6 NKJV
This scripture is one of the most neglected scriptures in the Bible, but holds a lot for the believer in Christ. We prefer running after prophets for prophecies than running after God for wisdom and knowledge. We prefer being given or sold miracle oil, water, prayer clothes, candles and etc. than been taught wisdom and knowledge from above.
Many prefer moving from prayer house to prayer house, prayer mountain to prayer mountain, instead of moving from scripture to scripture to find the wisdom and knowledge that will change their lives.
The Bible did not say running after prophets or preachers for miracles will be the stability of your times and strength of salvation, neither did it say, being sold or given miracle oil, water, salt, communion, administered feet washing, and etc. will be the stability of your times and strength of Salvation. It says wisdom and knowledge from God will be the stability of your times and strength of salvation.
Jesus started His version of Church ministry as a mission for filling hearts with wisdom and knowledge from above, not a metaphysical cult where charismatic witchcraft is practiced.
THERE IS NOTHING IN LIFE THAT IS AS BEAUTIFUL AS WISDOM AND KNOWLEDGE FROM ABOVE.
That is why the word says, both shall be the stability of our times and the strength of our salvation. Meaning, when one experience salvation, the only way one can strengthen it, is by exposing their hearts to revelation knowledge and wisdom from above.
Again, the word says, “wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of your times and strength of salvation.” Without both in our lives, we will never enjoy stability in anything we may be doing, or have our salvation strengthened, even if it is genuine. That is why, the best thing to pay price for, after experiencing salvation, is wisdom and knowledge.
Knowledge tells us what to do, wisdom tells us how to do it. Knowledge creates awareness, wisdom brings direction.
The most powerful person on earth, is he or she with the knowledge of God on what to do on any issue of life, and the wisdom of God on how to do it. That is why the Bible says, both shall be the stability of our times and strength of our salvation.
Many do not realize the importance of strengthening their salvation, hence operating at a very poor level of Christianity.
Christianity at its poor level will be a form of godliness without power. You will be oppressed and running after people you see as powerful men or women of God, for deliverance.
Christianity at its poor level will be void of power, holiness, righteousness, blessings and peace of God. Economically, it will leave you either very poor or connect you to the prosperity of the wicked. It will be a Christianity mixed with the dark supernatural.
There is much evil that will happen in your life if your Christianity is at a poor level. Devils will be on your case, your marital life will be in ruins, the glory of the LORD and what He may have promised you will be absent. The need to strengthen our salvation with Heavenly wisdom and knowledge, therefore, cannot be over emphasized.
If salvation is not strengthened, the full redemptive benefits of salvation will not be experienced by the saved. The redemptive benefits cut across our spiritual, social, marital, psychological and health life. For instance, the wisdom and knowledge of God that was shared on our health life yesterday, gave some of us stability and strength, and more will be coming today.
It is a 28-day journey of faith with the Cry of the Spirit of God on supernatural living. Today is the 24th day. The LORD has given us wisdom and knowledge on the subject, and many of us have gained stability in supernatural matters, and strengthen our salvation on the same.
We have seen few laws that govern the supernatural of God. Yesterday we stopped at the law that says, “the gift of God cannot be bought with money.” In other words, nothing about the supernatural of GOD should be commercialized; be it miracles, blessings, deliverance or divine healing. They are all free because of what Jesus did on the cross. Wherever you see these things commercialized, they are not coming from GOD.
The supernatural of GOD cannot be commercialized because there is a Seed that has been sown for it, and that Seed is Christ. His death was the seed, that was why prophecies called Him, the Seed of the woman. The Bible says;
“knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.
He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you.” 1 Peter 1:18-20 NKJV
OUR REDEMPTION WAS BY THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF JESUS, NOT BY ANY OTHER THING.
Hence, we do not need to sow anything to enjoy anything in the supernatural of God.
The blood of Jesus is the final and approved redemption receipt in the spirit realm for all the blessings, miracles or interventions, we need from the supernatural of GOD; including divine healing, which is the supernatural plan of GOD for our health as we saw yesterday.
The free benefits of the sacrifice of the blood of Jesus Christ are available in the supernatural of GOD. That is why if you sow any other seed again, to benefit from the supernatural of GOD, you will prevent it from working in your life. In fact, you will be tapping into the dark supernatural that is always hovering around mankind, like a bird, to be tapped into.
We were looking at God’s plan for our health yesterday. We shared that there are two aspects of God’s plan for our health. There is the natural aspect, which is proper medical care and personal hygiene.
There is also the supernatural aspect, which is divine healing.
Divine healing is a plan that deals with any illness whose cause is unknown or known, but has defiled medical care. It is a plan in the supernatural of GOD, that deals with any illness that cannot be cured medically. It also deals with any illness caused by the spirit of infirmity.
Our devotional text says;

As we can see in this scripture, there was no way this woman would have been healed medically. Her case was not caused by the mismanagement of her health, or lack of personal hygiene. It was an attack from the spirit of infirmity. There are so many people in many homes today, and in most hospitals, whose cases are like her case.
There is no amount of medical care or personal hygiene that will save them. They just need the supernatural power of God to save them. They need what Jesus did to this woman to be healed. They need the healing power of God to deliver than from the spirit of infirmity. The text presents prayer as the only solution.
When we bow down our knees to God in prayer, asking that they be loosed from the spirit of infirmity by the blood of Jesus, they will be loosed. When we ask the arm of the LORD to awake upon their case, it will awake because GOD wants then healed.
If we will humble ourselves in fasting and prayer, and ask that the LORD set them free from the spirit of infirmity, He will set them free. Yes, they will be loosed from the spirit of infirmity. And, once the spirit leaves, they will no longer be sick. When we return tomorrow, I will share with us few thoughts on how to pray for the sick.
Then we look at the last part of God’s plan for our health.

“The Lord then answered him and said “Hypocrite! Does not each one of you on the Sabbath loose his ox or donkey from the stall, and lead it away to water it?
So ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound—think of it—for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath?”
And when He said these things, all His adversaries were put to shame; and all the multitude rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by Him. Luke 13:15-17 NKJV
