TODAY’S DEVOTION (TUESDAY 8TH AUGUST 2023)
They zealously court you, but for no good; yes, they want to exclude you, that you may be zealous for them.
But it is good to be zealous in a good thing always, and not only when I am present with you.
My little children, for whom I labor in birth again until Christ is formed in you, I would like to be present with you now and to change my tone; for I have doubts about you.” Galatians 4:17-19 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 220th DAY OF OUR YEAR OF SIGNS AND WONDERS.
With the kind of horrors of the last days that are upon us, it is indeed out of the LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed, for His compassion fails not. He has shown us His love again; He has given us another day. To Him belong all the glory, for ever and ever. Amen
The cure for all our worries is still Christ, the LIGHT of the world. That has not changed.
From the day the rebellion of Lucifer destroyed the perfect earth, and darkness came into existence, the one solution God has had for the darkness problem is light. It is not prayer, fasting, sacrificial giving, or sowing seeds (as important as some of these things may be), but light. Except we walk in the light of God, none of us will ever succeed against darkness.
The Bible says;
“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.” Genesis 1:1-3 NKJV
The light in this scripture represents Christ. He would later reveal that to us, when He said in John chapter 8 verse 12,“I am the light of the world…” But when it first appeared, the darkness on ground mixed itself with it.
That tells us why the false Church is mixed with the true Church today. It establishes where it all started. It tells us why we can have the antichrist spirit and the Holy Spirit in the same church. Darkness will always mix itself with light.
Yes, false teachings will always mix themselves with true teachings, false prophetic anointing will always mix itself with the true prophetic anointing, dark religion will always mix itself with true religion, and so forth. If we do not realize the capability of darkness to mix itself with light, then we do not understand spiritual warfare.
Understand that, Satan succeeds against the church, each time he comes in as an angel of light.
HE SUCCEEDS AGAINST THE CHURCH, EACH TIME HE MIXES HIS DARKNESS WITH THE LIGHT OF GOD.
For instance, many Christians believe in dark teachings today because of the light mixed with them. Someone who preaches holiness, righteousness, and repentance and also believes that you can have a spiritual husband or wife or you can suffer for being a first born and that you must be redeemed is giving you darkness mixed with light.
The light part is the holiness, righteousness, and repentance he is preaching. You are believing the darkness part because of the light part.
Someone who preaches Jesus as the savior leads people to Christ, holds prayers everywhere, preaches about repentance and Christian virtues, but also believes that you can suffer because of evil altars and that you have to offer sacrifices to raise an altar or silence them is giving you darkness mixed with light.
The light part is the holiness, righteousness and repentance he is preaching. You are believing the darkness part because of the light part.
Someone will preach about the Holy Spirit and how to relate with Him, he will talk about faith, walking in power, and the healing power of God, then also tell you why you must use oil, water in prayer, or salt and all that. That person has carefully and successfully served you with dark teachings mixed with light.
There are some preachers who teach dark things, who now copy what we preach; they use the light of what we preach to attract people to the darkness they practice. It has worked for them because that is the most successful way Satan infiltrates the Church of Jesus Christ.
It is through this infiltration system that he has filled genuine kingdom seekers with false teachings mixed with truth and dark practices mixed with light.
In church today, we have so many rogue preachers doing very demonic and satanic things called deliverance and people accept them because they are mixed with light. We have a lot of black witchcraft in church; from the pulpit to the pew. People celebrate and even fight for the preachers who practice such things because it is mixed with light.
THE LIGHT PART INFLUENCES THEM TO ACCEPT THE DARKNESS PART AS LIGHT TOO.
We have Christians who claim prophetic hearing, who are actually having the dark spirit of prophecy called the spirit of divination. The light in the dark prophetic spirit they have is what convinces them that they have the gift or spirit of prophecy.
Over 80 percent of people who go to church for deliverance are having it through the power of black witchcraft mixed with light. The light part of the darkness is what makes them believe they are dealing with God. Satan will always put on light to attract you to his darkness. If you are having any darkness in you, you will fall for it. Sadly, he is using some preachers to do that (some we call fathers of faith).
A father of faith who uses both darkness and light to show you the way is actually misleading you. You do not show people the way using any form of dark teachings. The Old prophet in 1 Kings chapter 13 was a father of the land when the young prophet from Judah came. Go read what happened; he got the young prophet killed by giving him some light that was mixed with darkness.
Every teaching that is mixed will destroy your life either in time or eternity.
**We are in spiritual warfare. Do not forget that the enemy will never stop using some fathers of faith to generate and sustain dark teachings mixed with light, until Jesus comes. We just have to be careful. **We have to read our Bibles ourselves, listen to sound doctrine, and not allow our respect and honor for them to ruin our lives like it did the life of the young prophet who was zealously court by the old prophet to come eat in his house.
A part of our devotional text says;
“They zealously court you, but for no good; yes, they want to exclude you, that you may be zealous for them.” Galatians 4:17 NKJV
Exclude you from what? From kingdom benefits; from miracles and blessings that we get from Christ freely. They exclude you from teachings that would have helped you get deliverance without raising altars, sowing this seed, or the other one.
THEY EXCLUDE YOU FROM THE DOCTRINE OF CHRIST BY FEEDING YOU WITH TEACHINGS THAT ARE MIXED WITH DARKNESS.
The teachings will make you zealous for them, because they will influence you to believe that your breakthrough lies in you believing in them and giving them seeds or sacrifices. That is how they exclude you to themselves. I have seen so many believers, who have been so excluded that, all their salaries and earnings go to the prophets.
They excluded the believers, separated them from their families and made them zealous for them. They now serve them as God; they fall down to worship them as deities, they promote their ministries, and do even the unthinkable for them. Such people become specimens for false testimonies. All these are the results of dark teachings mixed with light.
What is God’s solution for dealing with darkness that is mixed with His light? The Bible says God deals with any darkness mixed with His light, by separating His light from the darkness.
Our ministry was born in a time like this to separate all the dark teachings that have been mixed with the light of the Bible in our apostolic territory, Kenya and the rest of the world. There are others God has also raised to do that in other parts of the world, and we will all win this battle.
Light will be separated from darkness and the glorious Church will emerge. The rest of the devotional text says;

The glorious Church will be a church full of people that Christ has been formed in them. It will have spiritual leaders who will not preach things that are mixed with darkness, but labor in the word and doctrine to form Christ in people.
What God is doing in the now is separation. The separation will lead to the rise of the glorious Church. He is separating Light from darkness, and taking away the mixture in what we call Christianity today. That is the move of the Spirit that we are experiencing today, by the hand of Christ Himself, working through men and women prepared for this hour.
As for me and my house, until every dark teaching that has been mixed with the light of the Bible is exposed and people stirred by the LORD to separate from them, we will not stop sending the cry of the Spirit to the nations.
