THE CRY OF THE SPIRIT DEVOTIONALS – BY RICHARD E. S. TAKIM

TODAY’S DEVOTION (SATURDAY 2ND DECEMBER 2023)

Who is the man that fears the LORD? Him shall He teach in the way He chooses. He himself shall dwell in prosperity, and his descendants shall inherit the earth.

The secret of the LORD is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant.

My eyes are ever toward the LORD, For He shall pluck my feet out of the net. Psalm 25:12-15 NKJV

WELCOME TO THE 336TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF SIGNS AND WONDERS.

Ending another week today is a great blessing. Starting afresh one tomorrow in God’s corporate presence will be a greater blessing. That is why you must find a Bible believing Church to plant yourself in as a human being.

There is a difference between God’s corporate presence, and other dimensions of God’s presence.

It is important for us to understand that the presence of God announces itself in so many ways. When we all assemble as a Church to fellowship, God announces Himself in our midst as purifying, sanctifying, and edifying fire on the corporate assembly.

That is the dimension we can call God’s corporate presence. The Bible word for that presence is “Mount Zion.”

Mount Zion is both a place and a realm. As a realm, it is an atmosphere that the LORD forms around us, that leads to Him stretching forth His hands to do marvellous things among us. The Bible says;

“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

It is like the precious oil upon the head, running down on the beard, the beard of Aaron, Running down on the edge of his garments.

It is like the dew of Hermon, descending upon the mountains of Zion; For there the LORD commanded the blessing— Life forevermore.” Psalm 133:1-3 NKJV

When we all assemble as a spiritual family, to corporately worship the LORD, and achieve a spiritual unity in the process, we come into the realm of receiving commanded blessings from the LORD.

THAT IS WHY YOU SHOULD NOT FORSAKE THE ASSEMBLING OF THE BRETHREN.

You will always experience the infilling of the Holy Ghost and fire, to led a better Christian life and enhance your morality in an immoral world. The Bible calls it the impartation of the holiness of God.

In a mount Zion atmosphere, you see a lot of divine outbreaks. You see deliverance from sin and Satan, and possessing of possessions in Christ. You get bigger blessings and experience greater faith building moves of the Spirit, in your spirit. That is why it pays not to miss a Holy Ghost Impact Church service.

God sets the solitary in spiritual families, so that they can unleash their destinies, by receiving commanded blessings in a mount Zion atmosphere.

Understand that, you will never receive commanded blessings staying alone in the house. You could receive things from the LORD while alone at home, maybe in prayer, but commanded blessing will never be one of them. Commanded blessings are received when we gather together in corporate fellowship.

When they manifest in our lives, we will begin to rule in the midst of our enemies; because it is commanded blessings, that manifest as rods in our hands, to use in ruling in the midst of our enemies.

So, do not sit at home any service day. Join your spiritual family for corporate worship. Start the week with commanded blessings.

The LORD has been so gracious to us since we started this journey with the Cry of the Spirit on Visionary living. It’s been insightful, revolutionary and a revelation. What is left now is application. Understand that it is the application of revelation that brings elevation.

A portion of our devotional text says;

“Who is the man that fears the LORD? Him shall He teach in the way He chooses. He himself shall dwell in prosperity, and his descendants shall inherit the earth.” Psalm 25:12-13 NKJV

The LORD teaches those who fears Him ways He choses, so that they could apply the lessons, upgrade their ways and come into the prosperity He has prepared for them and their descendants.

THAT IS WHY THOSE WHO FEAR HIM, MUST GO FROM KNOWING WHAT THE LORD HAS TAUGHT THEM, TO APPLYING WHAT HE HAS TAUGHT THEM.

It is when those who fear the LORD, apply what He has taught them, that they can unleash the prosperity behind the insights they have learned from Him. The devotional text made it clear that, fearing God alone may not give you the prosperity you need.

We must add fearing God, and being taught by Him, to prosper on the face of the earth.

If you fear the LORD, you must be constantly taught by the LORD to prosper; however, that prosperity will remain hanging until you apply what you have been taught.

The essence of all we have learned on this journey, is to bring us into prosperity. But if we do not apply the insights learned, we will never see this noble intention of GOD fulfilled in our lives. His hidden purpose, will never be made manifest.

Understand that, no matter how much we know, if we will not apply what we know, the best we will ever be, is a bunch of intelligent backward and suffering people.

Yes, we will be intelligent but backward in life and suffering here and there.

An intelligent backward person can tell you how to run your own life and succeed, but cannot apply same secrets to run his or her own life and succeed. Their lives are marked with all kinds of failure, hardship, toiling and all that, despite the much they know.

They turn the lives of others around with insightful counsels, but cannot turn their own lives around.

For instance, they will tell you how to get and stay married, while they cannot get and stay married. They will tell you how to live with your husband or wife, while they cannot. I mean, they will give you very beautiful counsels that when you apply, you will get results; but they cannot live the same way with their husbands or wife.

There is nothing with helping people to turn their lives around, but yours should not be sinking, while you are doing such a beautiful thing. Your life should also be turned around, as you turn the lives of others around.

THAT IS THE IMPORT OF WHAT WE ARE STATING.

When you find someone telling others very insightful things on how to succeed but they themselves are backward in life, you have found someone who is telling others the very secrets they have refused to apply to change their own lives.

Such people will tell you things that when you do, you actually succeed. Understand that, those things are the very secrets they know but have refused to apply to their own lives.

Friend, telling me how to succeed financially, when you cannot pay your bills, makes you an intelligent backward man or woman. Giving me great insights on how to overcome Satanic attacks, while demons are on your case, makes you an intelligent backward person.

Educating me with uncommon revelation on how to lead a visionary life, while you are living a stupid life, makes you an intelligent backward person.

Someone could decide to use all we have learned on this journey, to become a wonderful teacher of visionary living, instead of applying the secrets to their lives. That will be a very stupid thing to do.

The insights the LORD has given, and will still give to us, are for personal application, not for making us intelligent backward people. It is the application of truth that brings freedom, not the knowledge of truth.

There are certain things that happens when we move from hearing to application of God’s word. One of them is the release of signs and wonders from the throne room of GOD into our lives.

Many people do not know that, when we apply revelation knowledge, or truths to our daily lives, we give God the opportunity to confirm His word in our lives with signs and wonders.

GOD HAS A HISTORY OF CONFIRMING HIS WORDS WITH SIGNS AND WONDERS IN THE LIVES OF HIS OWN.

Application of things He teaches, and insights He shares by His Holy Spirit, to our daily lives, will unleash a presence in our lives that will manifest as miracles, signs and wonders.

God does confirm His words with miracles, signs and wonders, first to protect the integrity of His name, or reveal Himself to us, or persuade people in darkness to come to light, or enhance our submission to His will and His ways.

That should tell us who becomes happy when we know so much but refuse to apply what we know; the devil. He knows nothing good will come out of it. That is why sometimes, he will not stop us from hearing true teachings. “If nothing will come out of what we are hearing, why would he stop us.”

Child of God, make up your mind to come into the realm of application at the end of this journey of faith.

All we have shared so far brings us to another law of visionary living, called “The law of Visionary Application of Secrets.” The rest of our devotional text says;

 “The secret of the LORD is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant. My eyes are ever toward the LORD, For He shall pluck my feet out of the net.” Psalm 25:14-15 NKJV

Visionary living, succeeds through the release of secrets from the LORD to us, from time to time. It is those secrets that gives us victory when the enemy comes, and helps us to succeeds no matter the odds.

Actually, some of the laws we learned on this journey are great secrets for visionary living. But if the secrets are not applied, we will never succeed.

The law of the Visionary application of secrets, is all about putting divine insights or secrets to use, in order to bring God’s vision for our live to pass; especially secrets or insights that are tailored to our assignments or prophetic destinies.

THE LAW IS ALL ABOUT PUTTING INTO OPERATIONAL USE ALL THE WONDERFUL THINGS THE LORD SHOWS US ON VISIONARY LIVING

Not just on this platform, but what He will be showing or teaching us individually as we seek to fulfil His vision for our lives.

It is important to note that, visionary living involves being directed by the LORD from time to time. It succeeds when we are taught and instructed by the LORD from time to time; or when we are guided by His eye.

He said in His word;

“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.

Do not be like the horse or like the mule, which have no understanding, which must be harnessed with bit and bridle, Else they will not come near you.” Psalm 32:8-9 NKJV

Visionary application is you and I putting all we have been taught, guided to do, and shown by the eyes of the LORD, to profitable use. It is we putting the secrets from the LORD to use, as directed by the LORD. It is you and I making the proper use of the divine information release to us by the LORD to bring His vision for our lives to pass.

This is where rebellion becomes dangerous. We must not rebel against the LORD by not applying what He has shown us.

If we do, we will defeat His plans and programs for our lives. That was what Saul did, and lost a generational heritage, meant for him and his household to David.

The truth is, there would have been no David on the Throne but in the army if Saul had handled the law of visionary application of secrets properly.

May we not be replaced by another in the pursuit of our divine destinies in Jesus precious name.

The message today is simple; to successfully lead a visionary life, the visionary application of truths, secrets, insights and all the information the LORD passes our way from time to time must be upheld.

LET THIS SCRIPTURE BE AN ADDITIONAL MEDITATION FOR THE DAY!

And Samuel said, “What have you done?”

Saul said, “When I saw that the people were scattered from me, and that you did not come within the days appointed, and that the Philistines gathered together at Michmash, then I said, ‘The Philistines will now come down on me at Gilgal, and I have not made supplication to the LORD.’

Therefore I felt compelled, and offered a burnt offering.”

And Samuel said to Saul, “You have done foolishly. You have not kept the commandment of the LORD your God, which He commanded you.

For now the LORD would have established your kingdom over Israel forever. But now your kingdom shall not continue. The LORD has sought for Himself a man after His own heart, and the LORD has commanded him to be commander over His people, because you have not kept what the LORD commanded you.” 1 Samuel 13:11-14 NKJV
