TODAY’S DEVOTION (SATURDAY 11TH JANUARY 2024)
“Therefore, brethren, seek out from among you seven men of good reputation, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business; but we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word.” Acts 6:3-4 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 11TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF VICTORY.
The beginning of our devotionals this year instructed us how to live our lives – it instructed us to stay in the Hands of the Holy Spirit. It reminded us that the Hands of the Holy Spirit formed us in our mother’s womb, and that only His hands can keep us in a trouble world.
It may interest you to know that He also scheduled our days, long before our great grandparents thought of getting together to conceive whoever became our maternal and paternal roots.
Yesterday we spoke on being in divine will, today we want to look at another aspect of divine will called divine schedules.
I believe strongly that the year 2025 is a year of divine schedule for someone reading this.
A divine schedule is a set of events and interactions that are believed to be orchestrated by God, rather than by chance or human planning. I believe this year is that year for someone.
Yes, it is a year of God’s schedule for someone to step into ministry, a year of God’s schedule for someone to step into marriage, a year of God’s schedule for someone to step out of a church that is not helping them eternally to one that will help them.
A year of God’s schedule for someone to walk out of a trap or snare that they have convinced everyone to be a marriage, a year of God’s schedule for a married couple to stop the bickering, fights, and disagreements, and start fulfilling why God brought them together.
A year of God’s schedule for someone to find a good job, and bring poverty and lack permanently to an end, a year of God’s schedule for a supernatural favor to be release to someone who have followed the LORD dedicatedly, a year of God’s schedule for someone whose destiny is connected to a foreign nation to cross over there.
It is a year of God’s schedule for someone to get their first Child after years of marriage, a year of God’s schedule for someone whose life has been tight and sorrowful to come into freedom, a year of God’s schedule for someone to stop a life of compromise, sin, and iniquity, because of what is coming.
IT IS INDEED A YEAR OF VICTORY THAT WILL RESULT IN THE RELEASE OF DIVINE SCHEDULES.
Get ready for what you have been waiting on God for. For some, this is the year for its release. This is the year that the waiting will be terminated. Yes, this is the year also, that some who have served the LORD faithfully, will go home to be with Him.
It is a year of divine schedule for many purposes of Zion to be fulfilled.
Yes, for the destiny of nations that are being strangulated to be released, it is going to be a year of God’s schedule for some political powers that have held their nations to ransomed to be neutralized by the LORD. It is the year of God’s schedule for preacher show have become elders of the gates of hell to let their captives go.
The Bible teaches that God schedules our days. 2025 is the schedule of God for someone to step into something that he or she has been waiting for.
Life will be full of trouble if we spend our days without stepping into divine schedules. That was what our Bible fathers knew. If you want to spend your days in beauty and peace, you must get ready for the manifestation of divine schedules in your life.
Spending our days in the hands of the Holy Spirit is one way we move from the manifestation of one schedule of God to another. That is what makes our steps to be like the shining light, that shines brighter and brighter unto a perfect day.
One of the things that the leaders of the early church tried doing in their days was to spend their lives in the hands of the Holy Spirit. They did that to keep to the schedules of God for their lives. They never wanted to miss anyone.
That was why they never allowed anything to creep into their faith and destroy their relationship with the Blessed Spirit of God. If our relationship with the Holy Spirit is destroyed, we will begin to miss our divine schedule leading to stagnancy in life.
If we lead lives that grieves Him, we will not be sensitive to our divine schedules. We will just be missing them. One of the things our apostolic fathers did to remain in the hands of the Blessed Holy Spirit, was to go deep in their walk and talk with God!
THEY NEW THE ONLY ALTERNATIVE TO THAT KIND OF LIFE IS A CARNAL LIFE.
They knew carnality was not a blessing but a curse because it will make someone to miss their divine schedules in life. Gloriously, there is a remnant that has seen these things in the Spirit, and are adjusting their lives and getting closer and closer to God to make sure they remain perfectly in the hands of the Holy Spirit.
You need to be part of this breed in 2025 since the year is your year of divine schedule.
You need to develop deep intimacy with the LORD, so that carnality can be erased, and the grip of the Holy Spirit on your life strengthened. If you do not do that, the schedules of God that have been predetermined to happen to you this year might be missed.
Carnality is the greatest threat to the manifestation of divine schedules. But deep intimacy with God will eliminate it.
When I look at the book of Genesis Chapter 1 and 2 and see how mankind ought to be, compare with how we have all become now, I cannot but feel so sorry for myself and the entire human race.
There are certain things sin brought upon us and the entire creation that only the consummation of all things can cure. Those are the things that hinder the release of divine schedules.
I reiterate again that there is no way your life will be beautiful without divine schedules made manifest.
Your desire this year should be to walk in the Spirit, by giving yourself entirely to consistent prayer and the ministry of the word, so that what God has scheduled for your life can be made manifest.
A major highlight in the devotional text said, “But we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word.” If you cultivate a consistent prayer life and are continuously fed the word, you will find yourself in the deeper places of the Spirit where divine schedules are made manifest.
Again, the LORD said this is a year of divine schedule for someone.
GOD CANNOT HAVE SUCH A PROMISE FOR US AND WE GO LIVING CARNAL LIVES.
They will not come to pass. You must walk away from every carnal walk and go deep in the Spirit; you must operate sufficiently in the Spirit.
When you get to the deep, you will begin to touch the glory; the store house of things that has been scheduled by God to happen to you. When you begin to touch the glory, you will begin to see outbreak of things God might have spoken to you about happening. You will begin to step into your schedule.
It is my prayer that you will position for the things the LORD has predetermine to happen in your life this year, in Jesus’ precious name. Amen!!
