TODAY’S DEVOTION (THURSDAY 27TH FEBRUARY 2025)
“Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.”

WELCOME TO THE 58TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF VICTORY
We give God the glory for all He is doing in our lives. We thank Him for watching over us.
When Jesus was physically on earth, He made so many declarations with eternal consequences. One of it says, “And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock, I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it (Matthew 16:18NKJV)”
This was not a political speech. Jesus is Eternal King, not eternal politician. Kings do not make political speeches. It is politicians that make political speeches. Kings issue decrees. This was a decree from the eternal King Himself who came into the realm called time, to save us from our sins.
I believe this is the declaration that has kept us, saved and sanctified, and protected us, His entire global Church, from the floods of the enemy of our souls. It is a declaration that has been responsible for outbreaks of His presence in our lives, and all moves of the Holy Spirit.
It is a declaration that lying prophets, heretic teachers and untrained pastors do not take to heart. If they do, there would have been none of them running what they call churches or ministries.
Yes, if they had taken that declaration seriously, they would not have turned what we take to be church into a money-spinning machine, a metaphysical cult, a social club or a political party by operation! They would have left the Church the way Jesus started it and know that the gates of hell Jesus spoke about is the one using them to do that.
There are different gates of hell on planet earth. We have spiritual hierarchies called the gate of hades; we also have human hierarchies. The closest gates of hell to some are the preachers who have become gates of hell themselves.
When a preacher becomes a gate of hell on the face of the earth he will begin to ask for money in exchange of ministration like prayers; he will be using all sorts of things to minister to people. From water, to oil, to salt, to pieces of clothes called mantles, to sand from villages or from graveyards, to fruits, and to mud.
THERE WILL BE THE USE OF WHAT I CALL DELIVERANCE INVENTIONS PRESENTED AS POWER INSTRUMENTS TO MINISTERS TO PEOPLE.
They will preach a different gospel with a very strong oratory power. Some will say, you can smoke and still be a Christian. Others will say you can be carnal and make Heaven. Such heresies and for others money making teachings, will be coming out of their mouths, replacing all Heaven making doctrines in the Bible.
They will be using the Bible and not teaching the Bible.
There is a difference between teaching the Bible and using the Bible. Where the Bible is used, you hear all kinds of strong doctrines and teachings. Where they Bible is used and not taught, you will people practicing all forms of black and charismatic witchcraft calling it deliverance. Where the Bible is used instead of taught, prayers will be going for specific amounts of money.
Where the Bible is used instead of taught, gadgets will be given to people to pray with. Yes, there will be magic called miracles, and the shadows of Judaism will be exalted above the substance of the Holy Spirit.
They will claim that the extra or anti-biblical practices among them are faith boosters. If it is the use of oil, they will use Mark 6 or James 5 to unleash the supernatural of Satan into the lives of people.
But where the bible is taught these things do not happen.
Where the Bible is taught, there is sound doctrine and none of these practices. People walk in scriptural revelation and perfect understanding of the ways of the LORD where the Bible is taught. They are taken to an apostolic construction site through schooling in the things of God where they become temples of God in the Spirit.
OUR PRIMARY ASSIGNMENT AS MINISTERS OF THE GOSPEL IS TO EXECUTE THE GREAT COMMISSION WITHOUT OMISSION.
The great commission without omission is executed by turning lost sinners into disciples of Christ. You cannot be made a disciple of Christ where the Bible is used to bring people into the realm of the demon of deliverance.
You can only be made a disciple of Christ where the Bible is taught.
If you truly understand what the great commission is, you will realize that so many preachers have become a hindrance to its execution. They have become gates of hell themselves the way the preachers who functioned under Judaism in the days of the early church were.
But thank GOD, the declaration says they will not prevail.
There is a generation of God’s reserves who have not bowed their knees to Baal that is rising all over the planet. This generation will carry the end time keys of the kingdom and uncommon authority of the Spirit.
They will be able to sense what Christ has bound in Heaven concerning His Church and bind it on earth, and sense what He has loosed in Heaven and loose it on earth. They will be part of those who will sit in the parliament of Heaven on earth with the keys of the Kingdom of God in their spirits or hearts to use in enforcing the Kingdom of God on earth.
The Bible says.
“And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” Matthew 16:18-19 NKJV”
There is something about executing the Great Commission that we must understand.
It will be fought by the dragon. That is why we will need the keys. When you hold the keys of the kingdom of heaven on earth, every other kingdom will have no choice but to listen to you! The dragon may fight you but will always not prevail.
HE NEVER PREVAILED AGAINST OUR BIBLE FATHERS BECAUSE THEY HAD THE KEYS OF THE KINGDOM WITH THEM.
Sadly, so many in the body of Christ today are keyless in the spirit that is why they cannot exercise dominion over evil works. They had to drink oil, use water and live very powerless lives or tap into the supernatural of the demon of deliverance to overcome life challenges. It’s sad.
God is passing through His prophetic reserves in our generation called the remnant; a people who still have their garments as white as snow. He is passing among them to raise Himself an army of apostolic warriors who will execute His end time redemptive plans in herald of His return!
But there is something else I want to pass across to you; let me begin by showing you something about the doings and sayings of the LORD!
What God is doing in the now is usually activated by what He is saying in the now. The sayings of the LORD and His doing cannot be separated. They work together. Our Devotional text says,
“Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain. It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows; for so He gives His beloved sleep.”
I believe this is part of what the LORD is doing now! Building, guarding etc.! There is so much we can chew here. The first thing you must understand is, if the LORD is not the one building your life, nothing about your life will be pleasant.
FRIEND, IF YOU BECOME THE MAKER AND BUILDER OF YOUR LIFE, IT WILL BE FULL OF TOILING AND PAIN.
God must become the builder and maker of your life, if you want things to be okay with you. There are a lot of people who wake up very early in the morning and returns late in the night just to make ends meet. Yet the ends refuse to meet. That is not the plan of God for our lives.
God never designed life to be that way. The Bible says it is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows; for so He gives His beloved sleep. Such thing only happens when He is not the maker and builder of our lives.
I grew up to discover that any money we earn through toiling and suffering is called the bread of sorrow.
Come to think of it, why do people toil and suffer in life? Why are people going through so much in life? Is it because of the curses in their father’s houses, voices crying against them from their villages or what? Is it because they do not tithe or sacrificially give? The answer is no!
People go through hardship in life for not making Christ the builder and maker of their lives.
Christ must make your life in Heaven and then assemble it on earth by building what He has made in Heaven on earth using your will.
Pause for a moment and go through the statement again. If you do, you will learn that any life that is made in Heaven can easily be assembled on earth. But anyone that has not been made and finished in Heaven cannot be assembled on earth, leading to difficulties.
Toiling happens when we are trying to assemble on earth what has not been made in Heaven. That was why Jesus did not do anything that He did not see the Father finish in the Spirit’s realm while He was physically on earth. He knew it would be a total failure.
THAT WAS THE KEY OF THE KINGDOM THAT THE LORD GAVE ME IN 1995 THAT CHANGED MY LIFE TODAY.
I reiterate again that if Jesus had attempted anything that the Father did not finish, it would have been a failure. That also teaches that it would be a total failure to lead a life that Heaven has not revealed to us to lead on earth. Jesus said,
“Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.
For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel.” John 5:19-22 NKJV
What is God saying to you this morning? What are you going through in this wicked world? Are you suffering or under attack?
Many have sent me messages that said their stars had been stolen and that they want some help. When you ask them why they think so, they tell you what they are going through. They have not learned that we only suffer and toil when we try to assemble on earth what Christ has not finished in Heaven.
It hurts my heart when I read such messages. God’s people have been robbed, spoilt and deceived to be making very dumb conclusions for too long. Obviously, these precious people have been deceived to think that way by heretic teachers.
The time has come to stop listening to heresies and start listening to the LORD.
Here is a check to always carry out; before you call on people to pray for you, check who is the source of the life you are living? Who is the maker of the decisions? Is it you or Christ? Have you been a god to yourself, taking decisions, initiating things, and doing things that you have not seen the Father do?
Lying in the answers to these questions is the reason why your life is the way it is. This is time for us to become synchronized in the Spirit like Jesus was.
Yes, this is the time to start spending our days based on the revealed paths and programs of God for our lives. This is the time to begin to make your decisions based on what is written in the scroll of the books concerning us. It’s my prayer that God will use these words to further build you up this morning and give you an inheritance among they that are sanctified! AMEN
