TODAY’S DEVOTION (Sunday 2nd March 2025)
“But to you who fear My name the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings; and you shall go out and grow fat like stall-fed calves.”
“You shall trample the wicked, for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day that I do this,” says the Lord of hosts.” Malachi 4:2-3 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 61ST DAY OF OUR YEAR OF VICTORY
God have been faithful and has kept us all through the month of February. Today is the last day of the second day of the new month. What a time to be alive and spend a corporate time in God’s presence today.
For us at the apostolic family of the Cry of the Spirit Ministry, the LORD God has given us another month to use in bringing His word of Grace and Truth to our generation. For this purpose, was the Cry of the Spirit Apostolic Family born, for this purpose we will keep living.
Indeed, the heavens declare the glory of God, and the firmament shows His handiwork. Day unto day utters speech, and night unto night reveals knowledge. This has been true in our lives and the lives of those whose hearts are after God’s will and ways.
Today we will be looking at matters of being close to God. The Bible teaches us to spend each day drawing close to God. Can you imagine doing that daily? You will get your life filled with the glory of the LORD, and not the works of the devil.
The LORD spoke to us yesterday on how our spiritual lives outsource things from dark realms to our lives. If we will not outsource things from dark realms into our lives, we must spend each day drawing close to the LORD. We must yield to His Holy Spirit to help us do that daily.
You see, any day you wake up feeling very far away from God, it’s a sign you should not ignore. Closeness to God registers in a man’s soul. If that registration is missing, you must do something about it.
YOU MUST FOCUS YOUR ENERGY TOWARDS SEEKING THE LORD UNTIL THAT REGISTRATION TAKES PLACE.
You do not shake away the feel and just keep living your life. If you do, you will start outsourcing things from dark realms into your life.
At first, they will come in the image and likeness of God, making you think you are dealing with God. But when those dangerous things that look divine get to their harvest time, you will begin to experience very bad things happening in your life.
People who ignore divine alarms sent to tell them they are drifting away from God, are not helping themselves. Like an aircraft that ignores the control tower, one day they will crash into the sorrows of life and bring their joy or even lives to an end.
When Cain got the alarm from God Himself about his drifting away, he ignored it and went further to kill Abel. When God sent an alarm of the consequences, he ignored it again and went out from the presence of the LORD. He never knew that such alarms from the LORD are sent to either bring or keep us close to the LORD.
The Bible says,
But the Lord said to him, “Not so; anyone who kills Cain will suffer vengeance seven times over.” Then the Lord put a mark on Cain so that no one who found him would kill him.
So Cain went out from the Lord’s presence and lived in the land of Nod, east of Eden. Genesis 4:15-16 NKJV
May we not be part of the Generation that has little or no value for the presence of the LORD.
You will never see the need to draw close to God daily, if you do not have the revelation of God’s presence in your Spirit. Cain did what you and I should never do, he walked away from the presence of God.
IT WAS NOT LONG AFTER; DARK REALMS BEGAN TO OUTSOURCE EVIL THINGS INTO HIS LIFE AND LINEAGE.
Yes, they prospered financially, but the things outsourced from dark realms into his life and loins, made him produce a lineage that did things that made God to regret creating man. It made the lineage of Cain live such wicked lives that the earth had not seen. God would later send a worldwide flood that wiped them away. The Bible says.
“Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart.
So the Lord said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them.” Genesis 6:5-7 NKJV
This scripture contains what will happen to any generation that does not live its days drawing close to the LORD. It tells us the kind of dark things that will be outsourced into their lives and loins. If you do not want to find yourself in this kind of a situation, staying close to God until your life and loins are affected must become your daily pursuit.
The life and lineage of Cain teaches that once you walk away from the presence of God, or once you lose that closeness or bond you have with the LORD, things will be outsourced from dark realms into your life, driving you to do things that you will regret ever doing either in time or eternity.
What happened to the generation of Noah should teach us all to fear God enough to pursue His presence. One thing people who fear God does, is to either build a bond with His presence, or protect the one that is already built. That is why you find the LORD rising upon them with His healing presence.
ONE MAJOR BLESSING OF FEARING GOD IS THE BLESSING OF HIS PRESENCE.
If we live lives that the presence of God will be rising upon with healing in His wings, the wings of the Holy Spirit, the wicked will not be able to trample us under his feet. Our enemies will not be able to prevail against us.
What do you want to do with your life this month? Use it to pursue the presence of the LORD.
God wants us to pursue His presence like never before. He wants us to make drawing close to him our daily pursuit. He wants us to fear Him enough to do that so that He can rise upon us with Healing in His wings this month as never before. He wants us to live our days trampling the wicked under our feet.
Our devotional text says.

It is the presence of the LORD that makes the wicked become ashes under the soles of our feet, because it takes care of whatever is against our lives. It is a danger eliminator.
But wait a minute, why would the LORD rise with healing on His wings only on those who fear Him?
The reason is because of what the fear of the LORD makes you do; it makes you live your days drawing close to the LORD. If you live your days drawing close to the LORD, you will be full of days where you will experience the LORD rising upon you with healing in His wings, and capacity to trample the wicked under the sole of your feet.
It is a new month!! My prayer is that the LORD will fill you with good this month like never before. Amen and amen.
