TODAY’S DEVOTION (Thursday 3RD September 2020)
“I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept my word, and have not denied My name.
Indeed I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but lie — indeed I will make them come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you. Revelation 3:8-19 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 245TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF REJOICING
It is our 34th Day of the 50 DAYS WINGS OF THE SPIRIT, and God has been faithful. If you are not following the school of the Spirit, you are missing a lot.
In our devotional today, God has a word for us. Now, let us hit the ground running to it!
Often times, when the scripture of our devotional text is read in the mentality of a need based gospel, people do not see what Jesus referred to the day He spoke those blessed words to one of His prominent apostles – John the revelator.
Long before that day, He had stirred Apostle Paul to warn of the rise of heretic teachers and false ministers of the gospel, described as wolves. He said they will bring in damnable heresies, like the ones we have today on the doctrines of eternal salvation, first born, first fruits, evil altars and foundations and all that – things that look true but are not from the Spirit of truth Himself.
While men may be going through a lot. Studies shows that most of these doctrines, are coined from shamanism. They are lexicons of demonic worship, in its attempt to bring solutions to the spiritual problems they create, just to further enslave men’s heart.
The church today is full of teachings Jesus or the apostles never taught.
We hear so much from many preachers that is not founded in the faith that was once delivered to the saints. Consequently, not building on the foundation that was laid by Christ, using the hands of His 12 original and later ascension apostles of the first century.
ONE OF THEM, APOSTLE PETER, WOULD LATER WRITE TO SAY,
“But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction.
And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed.
By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber.” 2 Peter 2:1-3 NKJV
Now, it is important to note that, the bible did not say few will follow their destructive ways; it says many will follow their destructive ways! And the reason is obvious. These false preachers will tailor their eternally destructive ministries around the immediate need of the people, hence winning hearts to fall into their nets.
They will lead what they many will see as local Churches which by spiritual appearances, are simply bless me clubs, operating either as political parties, metaphysical cults, social clubs, or other forms of money-making machines.
Prophecies and prayers will be for sale in the guise of seed sowing, and deliverance systems, cooked in the demonic but attached to twisted scriptures, will be administered to people.
They will lead a prophetic, deliverance or teaching ministry that will promise the people all kinds of liberty while they themselves (the preachers) are servants of corruption. They will kill the capacity of the people’s hearts to yield to the convictions of the Holy Spirit by teaching false truths about grace.
The hands of sinners will become strong in sin and their hearts comfortable in wickedness, as a result, giving them a false sense of forgiveness for their unrepentant sinful lives.
Friend, the most eternally destructive person in the Christian faith today, is not even the devil but a spiritual leader without the grace and truth to prepare mankind for the next life! I call them killer spiritual leaders.
SO MANY ARE NOT AWARE THAT NOT EVERYONE IN GOD’S GARMENT IS HIS REPRESENTATIVE!
So many takes everyone who stands behind a pulpit to be man or woman of God! They do not know that Satan has never come to church with horns. He is not that stupid. He comes to church like an angel of light. That is what makes it extremely dangerous to treat everyone in God’s garment as man of God.
If we are not hypersensitive in the Spirit these days, we will not know when we are calling a demon in a human body, “man of GOD” or “Woman of God.” Our spirits must be sharpened with the fiery fire of GOD’s grace and truth and spiritual understanding opened to recognize falsehood, especially even at its cradle or formative stage.
It takes the mature in faith to know that calling the wrong person man or woman of God is blasphemy against God. Though Jesus said it can be forgiven, it will shortchange your destiny, and except you wake up from such spiritual blindness, you will not know when a spiritual pit of defilement has become your home.
Sadly, the Bible warned that many will follow killer spiritual leaders.
The many that will follow them, will be led by another Christ, another spirit, and another gospel, hence constituting another kind of Church on earth, namely the false church! Jesus calls it “Synagogue” or “Assembly of Satan.”
There are so many Assemblies of Satan today called assemblies of God. So many synagogues of Satan in our generation – sending a great spiritual stench to God’s nostrils and opening portals of hell over entire cities.
The synagogue of Satan is currently mixed with the true Church, but a separation has begun.
Just as there were two babies in Rebekah’s womb and two women with seed from Abraham in one roof, so are there two Churches in the present Church! Everyone must know that. But like I said, a separation has begun. Yes, there is a move of GOD gathering His own into fresh and firing spiritual families, separating them from these synagogues of Satan.
If you are a Christian, you are either a part of the false church or the true church because there is no middle ground. The Bible made it clear that every member of the false church is as lost as the lost world and will come under same judgment them.
WHAT IS IN CHRIST MUST BE IN US FOR US TO BE CERTIFIED SAVED AND CONSIDERED PART OF THE TRUE CHURCH.
If what is in Christ is not in you, you are part of the false Church. If the Holy Ghost is not in you, you are part of the false Church. If the Holiness we find in Christ is not in you, you are part of the false Church.
If you do not feel anything about sin as a Christian, especially sexual sins, and other deep sins, you are not part of the body of Christ. If you are comfortable with preachers who sale prophecies, prayer and other deliverance materials like Oil, salt, holy water, incense etc. in the guise of seed sowing – you are not part of the true Church.
If you hate preachers who preach righteousness and urge us to live a Christian life with eternity in view, you are not part of the body of Christ. If you maltreat preachers and believers who uphold righteousness, maybe calling them names and seeing them as extremist, prophets of doom, or folk that are too strict on sin, you are still in outer darkness.
If you call conviction condemnation or see one who rebukes you for your sins as “judging you” it is a sign that you are part of the synagogue of Satan.
If you are moving from sin to sin, one form of spiritual problem to another, one terrible act of wickedness or the other but calling yourself born again, it’s a sign that you are yet to be integrated into the true Church. What flows in Christ is not flowing in you yet. You are heading for hell; hence you need to repent.
In simple terms, if you cannot walk in truth and make the Bible your standard, the Holy Ghost your friend, and Heaven your goal, you belong to the synagogue of Satan. If there is no Godliness in your character, God’s manifest presence in your prayer, or a burning desire to know the LORD, and be intimate with Him, you are yet to be made part of the true Church.
TIME FOR US TO START LOOKING BEYOND THE VEIL OF RELIGION AND TELLING OURSELVES THE TRUTH!
If you are a preacher who believes no service is complete without collecting money from people, or no prayer can be powerful without receiving money, you are not part of the true Church. If your ministry is run as a money-making machine, especially making people who do not have offerings look stupid and useless, you are leading a department of the synagogue of Satan.
You may reject all or any of this, but do not forget what our devotional text said. It says, “Indeed I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but lie..”
In this scripture, we are told that members of the synagogue of Satan will never accept that they do not belong to the true Church.
They will do everything possible to convince you that they belong to Jesus. They will run ads and copy all the divine patterns they can find in the Bible to keep the spiritual blind, blind and the seeing doubting if the evil they are seeing in the holy place is really true.
They are quick at changing their names to sound more “GOD.” They engage sorcery and divination in spiritual matters and cannot expound the word of truth and righteousness.
They move from title to title and are not interested in spiritual content but the container (their appearance), because they know men look at the outward appearance and not the heart. And since their drive is to appear perfect before men, they do everything that will make them look so perfect to the eyes.
Sadly, they forget that “the judge of all” looks at the heart because what goes on in our hearts is what really tell who we are.
Friend, like I have always said, there is so much to chew from our devotional text, but this is not a book. But I trust God that the message of today has been passed. Do not forget, there are two Churches in the present Church. Which of them do you belong to?
When the rapture will take place, the true Church will be taken, and the false Church left behind with the lost world.
Secure your place in Christ by using His grace upon your life to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, making sure you are not part of the synagogue of Satan in the present Church!

“Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.
“Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world,
holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain. Philippians 2:12-16 NKJV
