TODAY’S DEVOTION (Tuesday 27TH May 2025)
“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.”

WELCOME TO THE 147TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF VICTORY
Welcome to another glorious day from God. Yesterday is gone into the tomb of time, forget it. Yes, forget all the bad things that happened yesterday. Let them be buried with it. Tomorrow is a womb of time, holding a lot for you.
But today is a gift from God that need to be used properly so that the good that tomorrow has for us can be born. The determinant of a beautiful tomorrow lies in how we handle the gift of today!! That is why God gives us a new beginning by giving us a fresh word along with a new day.
Today God has a word for us, and I will begin with some highlights on God’s system of divine communication.
I have taught this repeatedly that the kingdom of Heaven carries out its activities on earth as the kingdom of God through divine communication systems. This communication system has tongue and languages that we must understand and operate with the help of the Holy Spirit.
For instance, there are tongues of men and angels and languages of the Spirit. Dreams and visions are the language of the Spirit.
In other words, God speaks in tongues of men and angels and in dreams and visions. He also speaks in several other tongues and ways unknown to men. There are some ways God speak that I simply term as classified. The ways I term classified are ways He used in communicating with man that have never been repeated in human history.
One of those ways is the incident of the burning bush in Exodus chapter three. God has never repeated that again. The Bible says His flaming glory descended upon that bush, and it appeared life fire in the eyes of Moses and attracted him to the scene.
THE BUSH WAS NOT BURNING BECAUSE IT WAS NOT A LITERAL FIRE BUT GOD’S CONSUMING GLORY!
That was what God used in unfolding Moses’ divine destiny to him, resulting in the mandate to go back to Egypt and bring Israel out of the Egyptian bondage. Another classified way God spoke was when the earth opened and swallowed those who rebelled against moses.
He spoke in that sign to validate the call and ministry of Moses. Dothan, Korah and other princes in Israel had used their influence to throw dust on the call and ministry of Moses. God needed to speak the clear the air, and He did. Sadly, people died. That means sometimes when God speak wicked people dies.
Another classified way was seen when God spoke to Moses from a cloud of glory that was visible to every eye that day. That has not been repeated in human history. He also spoke by making a dry stick to grow leaves and flowers overnight. God has classified and unclassified ways that He speaks.
In my book, Getting & Staying Married, I wrote just seven of the common ways God speaks. The fact is that God’s communication system is multi-level and unlimited. He could speak to you in a dream or vision.
Now, talking about visions, we have what we call outward visions, which are visible motion or static supernatural pictures imposed on a wall or the air for you to see. It is the activation of your natural and spiritual eyes at the same time to see into the invisible world of God or the evil one. Sometimes our natural and spiritual ears are also activated along to hear or pick up any voice or sound in the vision.
For instance, most of Daniel’s visionary experiences were not night dreams but outward visions from Heaven. Mary’s encounter with angel Gabriel was through an outward vision that was participatory in nature; that was why she could speak back to the angel.
OUTWARD VISIONS HAVE BEEN USED BY GOD TO TRANSMIT COMMUNICATION FROM HEAVEN TO THE EARTH.
They have been used in the execution of critical redemptive assignments that God gave to men to carry out for Him on earth. We also have what we call inward visions, which are static or motion pictures from the supernatural realm, internally displayed to the eye of your spirit.
These classes of vision are quick and strong. They happen at the speed of the twinkle of an eye but leave behind a strong sensitivity to what was revealed. Why am I sharing these highlights on divine communication? Like a pilot needs constant communication with the control tower for his flight to be successful so you will need constant communication with God in Heaven to live a progressive and fulfilled life in God’s design on earth.
If you do not understand the concept of divine communication, you will delay your divine destiny and maybe live and die without fulfilling much. This is where the subject of divine sensitivity comes in.
This is why you must practice the supernatural act and train your spiritual senses to be able to pick frequencies from Heaven from time to time. This is why we must go deep with God and come to the realm of faith where our heart, ears, and eyes are made active to always pick things from the glory realm.
A church generation that is rich but arrogant, blind, naked and poor in the spirit will never come to that realm of faith – the realm of accurate divine communication. That is why we have people who blindly got themselves trapped in spiritual snares called marriages languishing today in pain. Others have been given juicy positions in local Church assemblies that are simply gates of hell in the spirit.
If we will fulfill our divine destiny, we must be exposed to genuine encounters with the prophetic realm of God to become active in faith. The faith I am referring to is not the one they teach in most churches that is full of ungodly living, carnal fighting and greed.
I AM REFERRING TO THE FAITH THAT COMES BY SEEING AND HEARING ACCURATELY FROM GOD OR IN THE SPIRIT
This kind of faith is a by-product of being part of God’s communication system. It is a faith that sees the invisible and hears the inaudible in God’s glory. It’s a faith that terminates spiritual blindness or deafness.
The truth is, if you are blind and deaf in the spirit, you will never be able to see or sense the routes and paths ways in God that you need to follow to fulfill your destiny.
The divine routes and paths we will need to follow to fulfill our divine destiny are full of divine signpost and supernatural alarms planted by God to protect us from danger and save us from taking the wrong decisions. If we cannot read the spiritual signposts and pick the divine alarms, we will never become anything God has designed that we become.
We will never be protected from evil or know which step to take at the crossroads of life. In other words, if we cannot perceive the voice of the Spirit or understand the tongues God speak, we will not be able to unleash our divine destinies. A major highlight in our devotional text this morning says,
“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.”
Your divine destiny will need a constant touch with Heaven to be fulfilled. You will need daily briefing or instructions from the throne room to fulfill your destiny.
Child of God, the LORD might use a prophetic person to keep you in constant touch with Him but it’s best to have your own divine communication gadgets so you can be able to stay in touch with Him yourself.
Life on earth is a personal affair. Yes, the release of destiny is a personal affair. Most of what you will need to do to succeed in life or release your destiny will depend on your own prophetic hearing system, not that of another. Upgrading it from time to time is therefore very necessary.
Beautifully, God has planted genuine apostolic and prophetic ministries around to help us in doing that. The only thing you need to do is to locate them and plant yourself there. It’s a new day for you!
May the mercies of the LORD never depart from us even as we serve our generation according to the will of God. Amen!!
