TODAY’S DEVOTION (Saturday 26th July 2025)
“Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. See, I have told you beforehand.
“Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe it. For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together. Matthew 24:23-28 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 207th DAY OF OUR YEAR OF VICTORY!
Walking with Jesus might be turbulent, depending on the spiritual environment you find yourself. But one is bound to move from victory to victory regardless of the environment. That has been our story!!
It is the last day of another week, even as we prepare to start another week tomorrow, a start the outpouring of the Holy Spirit made to always happen in God’s presence. Come to think of it, the Jews were ending their weeks with a day of doing nothing but sitting down to read the Torah and Reflect on God’s goodness.
But when the Holy Spirit was poured, all that was changed.
Today we end our weeks getting ready to start a fresh week in God’s presence. The outpouring of the Holy Ghost indeed, altered human history. It re organized how men end and start their weeks. That is why History is simply God’s story. It is another day to be alive and well, and God has a word for us today!!!
We have been looking at what the people of God need to unleash or fulfill their destiny, and we have seen quite a lot on this platform. It is important to always remember that our destiny consist of the totality of all that God created us to be or do within our lifetime, which if gotten right, will prepare us for an eternity with Jesus Christ in the afterlife.
Yesterday we saw that our destiny needs an understanding of how much the times and season has changed to be fulfilled. A proper application of understanding will help us to live lives that redeem the times because the days are evil.
THE NEXT THING OUR DESTINIES WILL NEED TO BE FULFILLED IS A HYPERSENSITIVITY OF THE SPIRIT.
No one ever fulfilled their destinies without walking in the sensitivity of the Spirit and accurate discernment. Like we shared yesterday, the days are evil, so we must look at what Jesus and the rest of the Holy Scriptures said about our days and gain the sensitivity of the spirit that we need to release our destiny today.
There is a lot of what Bible prophecy said about our times and seasons that can guide us in walking in spiritual sensitivity as men and women of destiny.
To start with, let’s glean some eschatological truths from our devotional text. The text spoke of a season when people will be saying to us, here is the Messiah in the desert, let’s go meet him, or in the inner rooms; a season people will emphasize more on the preacher instead of on Christ.
It was a warning about the type of meetings and why people will gather for the meetings.
If you look at it, end time deceptions have the saved and sanctified as the target not really the lost because the lost are already deceived. So, if we think that Jesus was warning the lost when He spoke those words, you are mistaken. It was the disciples, and by extension you and I He warned.
In fact, He clearly presented the primary targets of the satanic deceptions to be the saved and sanctified when He said:
“For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. See, I have told you beforehand.” Matthew 24:24-25 NKJV
So, this scripture made it clear that the ideal people that are to be warned are those who gather in deserts or inner rooms for worship; we believers in Christ. If we will fulfill our destinies today, especially in God’s design we must adhere to these warnings.
There are two places we hold gospel meetings today as the body of Christ. The first is the desert (under tents and camps), the second is the inner rooms (conference rooms and Church buildings).
WE CAN ADD OUR HOMES AS PART OF THE INNER ROOMS.
One of the most significant things Bible prophecies said will characterize our days is the release of hyper deception form hell. A kind of Deception that our world has never seen. If you are trapped by this deception, your destiny will never be fulfilled in God’s design.
That is why the hypersensitivity of the spirit is a necessity today.
It is worth repeating that before we start witnessing these things today, Jesus had actually warned us of people who will come to us pointing out some so called powerful ‘men of God’ to us, saying, “look, your messiah is in some tents and camp meetings out there” or “in some Church buildings and conference halls in this city.”
He said we should not fall into that kind of trap; we should not believe them.
“For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together.”
There is so much about the end time to uncover here, but we cannot because this is just devotional. Now, this is different from referring a genuine preacher to someone who is unsaved to get saved or delivered. Jesus was warning us of how hell will send false preachers and conmen to us and use our resources or following to build their ministries.
SADLY, IT IS HAPPENING TODAY, AND GREAT MEN AND WOMEN OF DESTINY ARE TRAPPED IN THOSE CHURCHES AND MINISTRIES.
That is why we say if we fulfill our destinies today, hypersensitivity of the spirit will be a necessity. Without it one will just make himself part of the army of Satan or live his or her days fulfilling the agenda of the anti-Christ.
I say again, if you want to fulfill your destiny, one thing you will need to do is to live your days cultivating and walking in a hypersensitivity of the spirit. You must be open to a regular for the apostolic discernment by exposing your soul to sound prophetic and practical teachings.
We cannot afford to be spiritually blind today. If we are, we will not be able to fulfill our divine destinies. Spiritual blindness is simply not having the ability to see things through God’s eyes. If you have that, you will not be able to release your destiny because divine destiny is a spirit world thing.
Yes, it is a spirit world thing that finds an expression in the natural world. So, you must be awake or aware in the Spirit to be able to carry out God’s assignments for your life or be all He created you to be.
You must be able to see and relate with the natural world through God’s eyes.
On the journey of destiny, the costliest mistakes will be born out of decisions we made without seeing things through God’s eyes. I have made a lot of them. When we say hypersensitivity, we are referring to seeing things through God’s eyes. That is our definition of hypersensitivity of the spirit (that is of our human spirits).
Understand that seeing things through God’s eyes is a central requirement for the release of destiny. For instance, not seeing things through God’s eyes is the reason many do not see the spiritual side of who they are about marrying before marrying them, consequently losing their marriages, sometimes their lives, and for the elects, their callings after marriage.
IT IS THE REASON WE CALL THE UNCLEAN CLEAN, AND THE UNHOLY HOLY, AND NO ONE WILL BE ABLE TO FULFILL THEIR DESTINY THAT WAY!!!
We must all learn to use the word of truth and righteousness to walk through this dark world and fulfill our destinies. David says,
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path” (Psalms 119:105 NKJV). Jesus also said …“I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me will not be walking in the dark, but will have the Light which is Life” (John 8:12 AMP).
Hyper-sensitivity comes from the word of the LORD that has become light to us shining our life paths, even as we follow Jesus, the LIGHT of the world. Yes, it comes from the word that has become light and life in us, guiding us day by day, night by night. If this guide is absent, if sufficient light from Jesus Christ is absent in our hearts and minds, it will result in spiritual blindness.
If we become spiritually blind, we will begin to fall victim of what the LORD warned us about and not be able to fulfill our destiny. The word of the LORD is what helps us in cultivating deep discernment. It is what helps us to see things through God’s eyes.
As we bring this to a close, do not forget that you will never fulfill your destiny trapped in any form of end time deception. You might fulfill something that look like it, but never it; and God’s way of dealing with deception is through the cultivation Spiritual sensitivity.
Deep discernment is one of the many things your destiny and mine need to be fulfilled. So, live your days exposing your heart to apostolic voices that teaches the church how to differentiate between the holy and the unholy and discern between the clean and unclean.

“The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.”
“And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 NKJV
