TODAY’S DEVOTION (Tuesday 29th July 2025)
“We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him. We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one.” 1 John 5:18-19 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 210th DAY OF OUR YEAR OF VICTORY!
What a mighty God we serve, Heaven and earth adores Him, angels bow before Him. What a mighty God we serve. Indeed, the LORD is gracious and kind. Showing mercy even to a thousand generations of those who fear Him.
He has not been dealing with us according to our sins but according to His love and kindness. That is why we are still alive.
Many years ago, the LORD made me to understand certain things in His word about satanic attacks. I saw how infiltrated our world is and how even believers are living outside God’s preservative power.
Then I said to myself, “if there is a place in God that if I step in, all demonic activities in my life will step out and remain out, that is where I want to be.”
I knew I would not amount to anything if I did not find that place and hide myself there. I am like a tree that grew out of the dry ground of a godless lineage, like many others. So, I knew there was no way I could fulfilled my destiny if I did not find that place in God.
I knew attending church and being active were not enough. I needed a fortress of power, refuge from the storms of witchcraft and wickedness around my life. A lot of lives and destinies had been wasted, starting from the life of my father. I have seen so many family members destroyed by witchcraft. It was scary!!!
It seems each family member must fight for their liberty. The noise of religion was not going to save anyone.
It dawned on me that if we say we are saved or born again, we must be really saved and truly born again, else these dark powers will take us out.
As I pressed to find out what my soul was panting for, the LORD began to open His word to me. Truth began to come, then I saw certain things about the prophetic anointing. Then I said to myself, “if there is a place in God that if I step in, I will begin to see ahead of my generation and escape all these witchcrafts in the family without asking God to kill anyone, that is where I would like to spend the rest of my days from.”
I DISCOVERED THAT THE CHRISTIAN FAITH IS A FAITH FOUNDED IN LOVE.
So, asking God to kill family members who are witches and wizards does not apply today. God is dispensational in the release of His power and elimination of wickedness. Before the cross, the people lacked power to bind demons, so God said to them, “suffer no witch to live.” (Exodus 22:18).
But in our days, He said, “You do not know the manner of spirit you are of. For the son of man has not come to destroy men’s lives but to save them.” (Luke 9:56). That shut down the suffer no witch to live instruction and changed everything.
I discovered that it was easier to follow the Old Testament system than the new. Following the New Testament system is a necessity, but it will require a genuine salvation and a daily death to the flesh. If any follow the Old Testament method, that person will lose their souls in hell when they die, because they will be working against the will of the LORD on such matters.
Today We have the power to bind demons, and one way to bind a witch or wizard and make sure they do not hurt or harm you, is to plant your life in God’s power lines. The power line was what I was looking for.
I knew if I find the specific power lines and plant myself there, I will not need to follow the Old Testament system: I would not need to hate anyone or ask God to kill anyone. They will be rendered powerless, one way or the other by the LORD Himself. I discovered that the will of the LORD is for me to be a man of rest, while He be my man of war!!!
Why are we sharing all this? We have been looking at what our destiny needs to be fulfilled. Our destiny will need total victory over witchcraft to be fulfilled. It will need to defeat all forms of witchcraft to be fulfilled. Do not forget, there are three forms of witchcraft; there is the white-witchcraft, the charismatic-witchcraft and the black-witchcraft.
YOU WILL NEED VICTORY OVER ALL OF THEM TO FULFILL YOUR DESTINY.
Our world is terribly infiltrated by witchcraft. The persons living in your home, the one who gave birth to you, the one you married, the one working with you at the office, the one cleaning your home, the one who fathered you or the one you are fathering, the one who employed you or the one you employed, the one you gave birth to, the one leading your nation, family, organization or neighborhood, or even the one pastoring you, might be one form of a witch or wizard. The world is terribly infiltrated.
This is not to spread suspicion but to tell you how our world is infiltrated and why we need to plant our lives in God’s power lines for a lifetime. These things are the reasons why our destinies need deliverance, freedom or divine preservation from all forms of witchcraft to be fulfilled. It needs to be planted in the specific power lines for terminating witchcraft to be fulfilled.

If you are a man or woman of destiny, understand that witchcraft in any of the three forms will be deployed against your life. It will even come from unexpected quarters. But you will never be free from it following the Old Testament way of handling it; the very ways we see in church today. You will need the New Testament way to be free.
Yes, the New Testament method could be difficult to align with, especially if you find your life going in the wrong direction and you know who is responsible. But that is still the way to follow. It is a narrow way, but it will ultimately result in divine preservation from any form of witchcraft and its attacks.
You will find the LORD making a table for you in the presence of your enemies. Our devotional text says,
“We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him. We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one.” 1 John 5:18-19 NKJV
God want to bring each and everyone of us to the place where the wicked will not touch us. You do not get to that place asking God to kill those who are up against you. You get there following the pathways of purity of the heart, purity of life, purity of motives, and a sacrificial living, where you offer yourself to the LORD as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to him.
Do not forget, no one who offers his body to the LORD as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to Him, can be offered on any altars of sacrifice by witches and wizards, and if you live a sacrificial Christian life, you will never be a sacrificial lamb.
Finally, If you live a Christian life that does not conform to this world, no witch or wizard will be able to deform or destroy you.
It is my prayer that the LORD will use these words to preserve your destiny from the forces of any form of witchcraft. Amen!!

Therefore I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies [dedicating all of yourselves, set apart] as a living sacrifice, holy and well-pleasing to God, which is your rational (logical, intelligent) act of worship.
And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you]. Romans 12:1-2 AMP
