“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.”

WELCOME TO THE 252ND DAY OF OUR YEAR OF VICTORY
We have seen the goodness and kindness of the LORD for 252 days. Yes, we have seen His mercies, favor, compassion, power and divine interventions. We have received instructions from Him, direction and wisdom through the teachings He has brought to us via this platform and other means.
We have received life, both natural and spiritual.
He has been our shelter, mercy seat, redemption sacrifice and judgment seats, all in one. That is why we have not been condemned. The Bible says there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh but after the spirit.
One major thing a believer must ask of the LORD daily is victory over the flesh. Yes, it is to ask the LORD to help us overcome our battle with the flesh every day, because the battle with the flesh is the unseen battle that rages against our souls that hand us over to the enemy whenever we come out defeated.
Sadly, this is something that many of us preachers do not talk about.
Yes, we talk about things that are the offshoot of our inability to come out victorious in this battle. Things like diseases, spiritual attacks, marital problems, financial hardship, failures, losses, death and destruction, etc., we do not emphasize on the real battle raging against our souls.
Most believers do not know that when you lie, for example, you have failed in the battle between your spirit and your flesh. When you fornicate, deceive, steal, gossip, slander, hate, love money instead of God, strife, divine to rule, not walk in forgiveness, or get involve in any kind of ungodly thing, at that moment, you lost in the battle.
Those are the kinds of losses that are responsible for illnesses, curses, poverty, satanic attacks, sorrow, struggles, and all that the preachers who preaches another gospel emphasizes on. God wants us to walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh.
HE WANTS US NOT TO BE CONDEMNED.
He does not just want us not to be condemned; He has also made help available for us not to be condemned, because as His word teaches, people who walk according to the flesh are walking in condemnation. There are so many things he does to help us. One is in our devotional text. It says:
“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye. Do not be like the horse or like the mule, which have no understanding, which must be harnessed with bit and bridle, else they will not come near you.” Psalms 32:8-9 NKJV
If the LORD instructs us and shows us the way to go, it will never be a leading that results in a walk in the flesh. It will be a leading that results in a walk in the Spirit. We only fail when we do not walk in His Instructions. We will therefore be sharing some thoughts on receiving instructions from the LORD.
To start with, understand that God’s instructions are for our construction.
Yes, no matter what the enemy may have done to our moral, financial, marital or social lives, what God will do when He steps in to redeemed or restore us is to give us instructions to follow. If we follow the instructions of the LORD, we will be re-constructed and restored by the LORD.
There has been no redemption, restoration, or re-construction that last where there was no instruction to follow or to keep following. God will always give us instructions to unleash our restoration. He will always tell us what to do to undo our heavy burdens, terminate our oppression and renew our lives.
For some it will be for a lifetime.
Yes, there are blessings, breakthroughs, and liftings that can only remain for a lifetime if we follow some things the LORD tells us to do for a lifetime. Such blessings, breakthroughs, and lifting are tied to our obedience. If we have nothing from the LORD we are obeying, the blessings, breakthroughs and liftings will disappear after a short time.
THAT IS WHY THE MIRACLES OF MANY DO NOT LAST.
Friend, your life is just an instruction away from becoming glorious, beautiful, prosperous, and progressive in ways that you have never seen before. You can move from lack to abundance in one day by obeying an instruction from the LORD. You can move from begging and borrowing to giving and lending to others in one month if you receive and obey the instruction that will make it happen.
You can change any situation if only the LORD can speak to you about what to do to change it. There is no destruction from hell that can survive an instruction from the LORD. There is no curse on earth that can survive an instruction from the LORD. There is no satanic or demonic attack that can survive an instruction from the LORD.
A lot of people are living very bitter lives, but God wants us all to have a better life. However, that will not be possible without us receiving and obeying instructions from His mouth. The Bible says, “acquaint yourself with the LORD, and good will come to you…receive I pray thee, instructions from His mouth…” Meaning if good is not coming to us, our life decisions and actions are not based on instructions from His mouth.
Friend, you may be having a bitter life and asking what you have not done to have a better One. This may be the one thing you have not done, seeking the LORD for the very instruction you must keep following to move your life from what it is to a better one.
People who lead themselves will suffer misfortune. Those who instruct themselves will be destroyed. Our lives were designed to be led and instructed by the LORD. If we do not put them at the mercies of instructions from the mouth of the LORD, we will be messed up badly by life itself.
Yes, you may have done a lot to change your life but do this also, bend your ears to the Spirit of the LORD and genuinely seek the LORD for something you must obey in His word to move your life from a bitter one to a better life.
YOUR LIFE WILL NOT REMAIN THE SAME IF THE LORD TELLS YOU WHAT TO DO TO CHANGE IT.
You have been doing what you thought should be done, but you have never done what the LORD says you should do, what will truly change your life. Understand that every life situation has its own unique instruction we must obey to change it, and only the LORD has the instruction.
In 1st Kings 17, you will find that Elijah was fed by the LORD but not through his prayer but through his obedience. The LORD will say to him, “go dwell there” and he will go. When he gets there the LORD will command birds to feed him. I studied his life and discovered that his survival in one of the cruelest environments of Bible times, was possible because he was receiving and obeying instructions from God’s mouth.
We may be living in the worst of the times in our nations, but instructions from the LORD will keep us. It will send us where our money lies, it will give us healing when we fall sick, it will redeem us from destruction and cushion the effects of bad government policies or bad opposition to good government policies.
Your life is just an instruction away from that breakthrough, peace, joy, prosperity, deliverance, blessing or miracle you need.
You might need to change your prayer point; you might need to seek the LORD to show you what you must do to be saved. The prison officer in Acts 16 asked the apostles, “what must I do to be saved?” That is what to ask the LORD, not a preacher.
If you ask a preacher, of course they will tell you to raise an altar, give some tithes and sacrifice, or look for some lost stars, which is not what to do. They will tell you all that because it will benefit them.
So, ask the LORD. He alone will tell you the right thing, the right instructions to obey, maybe for a lifetime to come out with a better life.
May the LORD give you the maturity of spirit to receive the instructions your life needs to become a better life. Amen!!

Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the Lord your God, Who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way you should go.
Oh, that you had heeded My commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea.
Your descendants also would have been like the sand, and the offspring of your body like the grains of sand; His name would not have been cut off nor destroyed from before Me.”
