“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.” 2 Timothy 4:3-4 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 261st DAY OF OUR YEAR OF VICTORY
The first Prophetic Apostolic Training School in Kisumu, a city in the western Part of Kenya in East Africa, starts today. I have been holding Prophetic Apostolic Training Schools for end time believers since 2008. The earliest ones were in Abuja Nigeria, then they move to other places. Now, it’s Kisumu’s turn.
We are planning for the United Kingdom, and the middle East. Let all our brethren there get ready. Believers must become Flaming Temples for God in the Spirit. Enough of Religion and spiritual exploitation for not becoming one. Our vision is to work with the LORD Jesus Christ and make that happen.
When you become a flaming temple for God in the Spirit, you will not need a prophet, or an apostle to know the will of God for your life or win spiritual battles. You will become an apostolic and prophetic saint, enjoying the best that Jesus offers and serving your generation according to the will of God.
As a prophetic and apostolic saint, you will not be using oil in prayers, neither will you need oil to be placed on your head.
The oil of the Spirit, called the anointing of the Holy Spirit, will be flowing through your life. You will not need holy water because out of your belly rivers of God’s presence and blessings will be flowing out to bless your life and others. You will not need to raise altars or silence them.
You will become the altar of the LORD, an altar that no evil altar can withstand. Evil sentences spoken against you will be neutralized or made to return to those who said them.
CHRIST WILL BECOME FLESH IN YOU AGAIN AND YOU WILL NOT NEED ANY DELIVERANCE INVENTIONS YOU SEE TODAY.
You will no longer be involved in unending spiritual warfare, and that is a huge blessing because the LORD will be fighting your battles, and you will be holding your peace. The importance of that cannot be over emphasized, following the kind of world we live in.
The Christian faith is a call to battle. That is why the apostolic consider the Church “an army” and those who are born again “soldiers.” But in this battle, we are not the men of war. God is the man of war. That is the title He gave Himself. It means the ultimate warrior.
If we allow Him to be the Ultimate warrior or man of war in our lives, we will become men of rest. In other words, beneficiaries of the victories of spiritual battles. He will be fighting, and we will be winning or having the victories. That is what He wants, that is what gives Him glory.
Sadly, many believers are yet to become prophetic and apostolic in their faith, hence taking the position of men of war. They fight supposed enemies, perceived enemies and all that. They are soaked with enemy consciousness, consequently living defeated Christian lives.
Satan fights us as God’s army that is why spiritual warfare is intense. It makes it dangerous to not rest in the LORD and allow Him to be the man of war. Yes, it makes it dangerous not to be prophetic and apostolic in faith.
If we do not know that we are called into battle, and the fight we are called into is a good fight of faith, where we function as men of rest and God function as our man of war, we will always be engaged in the bad fight of faith and come our defeated.
Yes, there is a bad fight of faith! It is soulish warfare manifesting as spiritual warfare. It is praying against demons in fear and fighting spirits manufactured by extra biblical teachings and practices, it is fighting demons that do not really exist in the spirit realm by the name people call them.
For instance, spirits of lust, and sexual passion that comes to molest people while asleep are wrongly called spirit husbands and wives, and fought against by prescribed means, things that do not exist in the spirit realm by those names.
YOU WILL ALWAYS BE A MAN OF WAR FIGHTING THE BAD FIGHT OF FAITH.
The Bible says:
“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses”. 1 Timothy 6:12 NKJV
The good fight of faith will result in laying hold on eternal life, which is knowing God and Jesus Christ whom He has sent. In other words, engaging in spiritual warfare as a prophetic and apostolic saint, where we allow God through a genuine submission to His will and ways to be our man of war, will deliver you from charismatic witchcraft, enhance your intimate knowledge of who Jesus is, and strengthen your faith in Christ.
In a bid to be free from the demonic, many engage themselves in charismatic witchcraft. You find them using oil in bottles instead of the power of the Holy Spirit in prayer. Engaging in any form of charismatic witchcraft to deal with spiritual attacks is a bad fight of faith.
Engaging charismatic witchcraft involves the use of mustard seeds, brooms, mats, and pieces of clothes to defeat the devil permanently, which does not really do so. It is a very bad fight of faith. The God of Heaven and Earth called us into a good fight of faith not a bad fight.
It takes a good fight of faith to lay hold on things in the Spirit. And that fight can only be fought with divine wisdom. The wisdom of following God’s ways and being sold out to do His will, which in turn makes us men of rest and Him our man of war.
Sadly, many cannot walk in this wisdom because they do not like sound doctrine, the central intelligence agency of the wisdom. A major highlight in our devotional text said ““For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine,” Sadly, we are at that time now.
Most people in church today prefer following what is working not what is true. Joining Church or becoming a Christian is now determined by the financial gains and reward one will get for doing so. Or the possibility of getting married if one does so.
We forget that we go to church to be disciples of Christ and trained to serve our generation according to God’s will. I have seen first class hate for preachers whose words pierce through the moral darkness in church or in the lives of some influential preachers. These are the things keeping us in bad spiritual warfare.
We can go on and on, but like I always state, this is not a book. This is a devotion, and I believe the LORD has shared with you a few things that have added to your wisdom bank.
