THE CRY OF THE SPIRIT DEVOTIONALS – BY RICHARD E. S. TAKIM

TODAY’S DEVOTION (FRIDAY 10th October 2025)

“Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life. Put away from you a deceitful mouth, and put perverse lips far from you.” Proverbs 4:23-24 NKJV

WELCOME TO THE 283RD DAY OF OUR YEAR OF VICTORY

To the immortal and omnipotent God, we give all the glory for the 283 days that we have seen. Each day has been characterized by His mercies, love and compassion. A lot is going on in the spirit realm that manifests in the natural realm. If not for His presence and covenant in our lives, it would have been terrible for us.

Our hearts are thankful for all we have seen and all the evil the LORD has prevented us from experiencing this year. If there is anyone that got to us, it did not get to us because it escaped the watchful eyes of the Omniscience God, but because we created it within our space.

Yes, I speak from personal experiences, God is so loving, watchful and such a shield that He will not want us to experience any evil. Anyone that gets to us was created by an intercourse between our sinful lives and the unclean spirits that created them.

Yes, there is an intercourse that happens between sin, iniquity or trespass, and unclean spirits. That is the intercourse that creates anything we do not want in our lives. The first place it happened was in the garden of Eden, leading to curse that fell upon creation and the perils that entered the space of humanity in form of death and destruction, spiritual and natural.

That intercourse is the very thing God’s word tries to prevent from happening hence helping us with warnings, instructions and counsels against living a life of sin after salvation. Living a life of sin after salvation will result in giving unclean spirits what to have intercourse with to create evil in our lives, resulting in believers suffering exactly what sinners suffer.

God does not want believers suffering what unbelievers suffer.

Salvation forbids all that. Salvation forbids believers from struggling with generational curses, perils of evil spiritual heritage or faulty foundations, attacks from evil spirits, witchcraft spells, curses, and all that.

EXCEPT FOR ONE WHOSE FAITH IS BEING TRIED, SALVATION FORBIDS A LIFE OF SORROW, POVERTY, PAIN AND MISERY.

When we find ourselves in all that, it’s not because the LORD is too weak to protect us, but because we have given the enemy a sin, iniquity or trespass to have intercourse with, and use in creating what we may be going through. The Bible says:

“Behold, the Lord’s hand is not so short That it cannot save, Nor His ear so impaired That it cannot hear. But your wickedness has separated you from your God, and your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear.” Isaiah 59:1-2 NKJV

Sadly, when sin does all that to us, we run to fake preachers with evil powers that do not care about our sins and begin to do all they say we should do to be free from things that God would need a genuine repentance from us, to free us from. In some cases, we get the miracles despite our wicked lives, and consequently, prevent the real power of God from purging our lives of sin and freeing our souls from eternal damnation.

If you look at the spiritual landscape of the church, you will see so many suffering from one illness or the other.

So many are oppressed of Satan and all forms of evil. Sometimes you wonder if the word of the LORD concerning healing, divine preservation and peace are real. The reason is because you can’t find it in the lives of many so-called born-again Christians, leading to the young ones turning away from church.

Sometimes I wonder, why we serve the healing balm and the prince of peace Himself, Jesus Christ, and still be sick in our bodies, and lacking peace in our lives or prosperity? The answer lies in how we live our daily lives.

WE DO NOT LIVE DIFFERENT LIVES FROM THE LIVES OF THE SINNER OUT THERE.

So many of us, I mean the so-called born-again Christians, live in habitual sins, calling it our weakness, and excusing ourselves with twisted scriptures. We do things that no Christian should do, and still call ourselves servants of God, while we are servants of sin.

Like stated sometimes back, we live Church lives instead of Christian lives and suffer for doing so but blame the sufferings on some ancestral foundations or lost stars. We forget that we cannot be a servant of sin behind the scenes and a Christian before everyone and then live a peaceful life in this accursed world.

You will live a life of misery and pain because the evil one will be touching you. The Bible says:

“We know [with confidence] that anyone born of God does not habitually sin; but He (Jesus) who was born of God [carefully] keeps and protects him, and the evil one does not touch him.” 1 John 5:18 AMPC

This scripture is clear that no habitual sinner will enjoy total protection, complete healing, deliverance, or divine preservation from Jesus, except they are converted.

All those He healed before the cross were healed based on God’s covenant with Abraham, yet He will still speak saying to the one healed, “sin no more least a worst thing falls on you.” Making it clear that an intercourse between the sin of the afflicted and unclean spirits created their affliction.

Friend, it does not matter how heretic preachers twist it; the word of the LORD is true and clear. No one who lives in sin habitually can be kept by the LORD. Their sins will betray them to the enemy. The power of the LORD will not create anything significant in their lives.

In other words, an intercourse with unclean spirits will be taking place regularly in their lives, bringing forth a cycle of evil. I reiterate again that when sin becomes habitual, it can even open an evil portal over the lives of men, leading to strange spiritual happening that creates sorrow, lack, depression, illnesses that science cannot decipher and a lot.

On the flip side, habitual righteousness, purity and holiness can open a Heavenly portal over a person’s life. In fact, our generation is yet to come into the revelation of the amazing things that habitual righteousness, purity and holiness do in our lives; the Heavenly portal it opens and the outstanding blessings it brings into our lives.

SOME SAY IT BRINGS POVERTY, AND I LAUGH.

Maybe they should have said it shuts down the prosperity of the wicked, because it does that. When it shuts it down, you will become poor, because you are still poor in God’s sight, even if people call you rich, if the prosperity you have is the prosperity of the wicked or a fool.

When habitual righteousness, purity and holiness open a heavenly portal over your life, an outpouring of God will be released upon you on daily bases. All that you do will begin to prosper even if you are amid hell itself. You will begin to have a table in the presence of your enemies.

Portals are spiritual gates that connect the invisible world with the visible. Man lived under Heavenly ones until the fall. God still open them over people who do the right things.

Yes, if habitual righteousness, purity or holiness opens a Heavenly portal over you, you will be living a blessed life in an accursed world. You will not need holy oil, holy water, deliverance or prayer clothes, raising of altars or any of such things that preachers give to people.

You will be blessed beyond any curse or reproach.

When the portal opened over Jacob, the Bible says God came down and said to Him, “Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you.” When it opens over you, the same blessing will be on your life.

One may say Jacob was not righteous, pure or holy. But he was, according to the standards of that dispensation. Our dispensation also has its standards. It is contained in the Holy Scriptures. If we uphold them habitually, we will walk in the blessings that flow from Heavenly Portals, sometimes known in scriptures as open Heavens.

The message today is simple. A believer who wants to see good and enjoy the best that Jesus has to offer must not court sin. There must be no intercourse between sin and unclean spirits in his or her life. If any of that exists, it will throw the person out of the place of peace and joy in the Holy Ghost like it threw Adam from the Garden of Eden and Ananias and Saphira from life itself.

LET THESE SCRIPTURES BE AN ADDITIONAL MEDITATION FOR YOU TODAY.

“Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves; and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light.

And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him. Then Peter answered and said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish, let us make here three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”

While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!” Matthew 17:1-5 NKJV
