TODAY’S DEVOTION (SUNDAY 19TH October 2025)
“Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed Me! But you say, ‘In what way have we robbed You?’ In tithes and offerings. You are cursed with a curse, for you have robbed Me, even this whole nation.
Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this,” Says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it. Malachi 3:8-10 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 292ND DAY OF OUR YEAR OF VICTORY
Today we will be looking at our finances. What the anointing is in the spirit realm is what money is in the natural when it comes to kingdom service. Any responsible steward in God’s kingdom knows the power of money when it comes to kingdom service. That is why they use money to serve God and do not serve God for money.
So long as God’s economy for the righteous is concerned, one area that we need to be schooled in is the area of our finances.
We need to be schooled on how to walk in financial miracles, because for us in God’s Kingdom, it is not by power or by might but by the Spirit of the living God. The race is still not to the swift, and the battle is still not to the strong. We must all learn how to work in financial miracles, and it all begins with the gift or faith to unleash the miraculous.
Friend, God wants everyone of us to have that gift so that we can be able to work in miracles. He does not want us depending on some prophets and prophetesses to do that. Right preachers could teach or train us to walk in that realm, but walking there should be something we do by ourselves.
What does it mean to walk in miracles? To walk in miracles simply means to be an active participant in making supernatural events happen, through the power of obedience to a higher dimension.
EZEKIEL DID THAT BY PROPHESYING AS GOD COMMANDED.
Joshua did that by making sure the book of the law did not depart from his mouth as God commanded, he meditated on it day in and out and carefully observed to do what is written in it. Walking in miracles in God’s kingdom involves believing in God’s power and obeying His Holy Spirit implicitly. When we obey, the miraculous break forth.
Mary said to the people at the wedding feast who needed a miracle from the LORD, “whatever He says to you do.” That is the key, miracles happen when we do whatever the LORD says to us, especially in time of need. The portion of the scripture that shared the story of what happened said:
“On the third day there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. Now both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding.
And when they ran out of wine, the mother of Jesus said to Him, “They have no wine.” Jesus said to her, “Woman, what does your concern have to do with Me? My hour has not yet come.”
His mother said to the servants, “Whatever He says to you, do it.”
Now there were set there six waterpots of stone, according to the manner of purification of the Jews, containing twenty or thirty gallons apiece. Jesus said to them, “Fill the waterpots with water.”And they filled them up to the brim. And He said to them, “Draw some out now, and take it to the master of the feast.” And they took it.
When the master of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and did not know where it came from (but the servants who had drawn the water knew), the master of the feast called the bridegroom.
And he said to him, “Every man at the beginning sets out the good wine, and when the guests have well drunk, then the inferior. You have kept the good wine until now!” John 2:1-10 NKJV
This scripture contains a vivid expression of what it means to walk in miracles, which is to participate in manifestation of supernatural events by obeying a dimension that is higher than you. For us in God’s kingdom, there is no other dimension than the Jesus dimension which the Holy Spirit brings us into. We just saw it turn water to wine, in this Bible story.
THERE IS SOMETHING TO ENGAGE THE SAME PROCESS TO TURN AROUND IN YOUR LIFE. YOU CAN ENGAGE IT TO UNLOCK ANY NEEDED MIRACLE.
When the Jesus dimension guides or directs you, a miracle will be born. One day He said to a man who had been sick for 38 years to rise and take His bed and go home, he did, and he was healed. He said to lepers to go show themselves to the priest, and as they went, they were healed.
When you obey a dimension higher than you, there is no way that a miracle will not be born. That is why the Holy Spirit must empower you with a hearing ear and a seeing eye for you to be able to walk in miracles. The principle is sacrosanct. If you see the invisible or hear the inaudible, you can do the impossible.
Originally, God designed the Christian life to be a miracle producing life. There is nothing about it that is natural. That is why if you make your Christianity a natural thing, you will lock out the miraculous from your life. But when you make it a supernatural thing, you will not lack the flow of miracles in your life.
If the flow of miracles is present, the release of finances will be supernatural. If you are not therefore, working in miracles as a child of God, get set for lack, scarcity and poverty. Get set for the shutdown of your business deals, the draught of clients, and the dryness of all the financial streams you may have.
Walking in miracles is what prevents any financial mishap from happening. If you do not want to see financial crisis in your life again, learn to walk in miracles.
Not walking in miracles is the reason for misery, sorrows, the need for deliverance and the eyesore of running after charlatans for help.
A true New Testament preacher, will perfect you to walk in the miracles independent of him. He will empower you to unlock miracles by depending on the Holy Spirit, the power of God’s dimension and not by using oil, water, salt, prayer clothes, or raising altars.
He will bring you to the realm of true Christianity where miracles follow believers and believers do not follow miracles. Yes, God wants miracles to be following you, He does not want you to be the one running after miracles or those you term miracle workers.
IN FACT, IF YOU ARE NOT WALKING IN MIRACLES, IT MEANS THE LIFE YOU ARE LIVING MIGHT NOT BE A CHRISTIAN LIFE.
It might just be a religious life. The reason is because, all Christian lives produce the miracles of Christ in the life of believers, including financial miracles. The Bible says,
“And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” Mark 16:17-18 NKJV
God designed the Christian life to leave miracles as a trail. He never designed it to follow miracles. In other words, if we say we are born again, miracles should be following us, we should not be the ones following miracles. We should not be the ones running after this man or the other man of God for miracles.
If you have a pastor who is teaching you to depend on his prayer for a miracle, he is the wrong man to be under. You are being rendered spiritually impotent. He is not doing a pastoral assignment. He is emasculating you spiritually!
Pastoral assignment will involve planting righteous seeds into your life, so that you can connect the God dimension that will enable you to work miracles yourself. It will involve making the flock fruitful in the things of God. You are not fruitful if you still depend on your pastor for miracle prayer!
One way we unlock financial miracles is by obeying God and allowing Him to guide us in our use of money. He promised Israel that if they serve Him with their substance, in form of tithe and offering, He will open the window of Heaven upon them.
A MAJOR HIGHLIGHT IN OUR DEVOTIONAL TEXT SAYS,
Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this,” Says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.
God says when we bring all the tithes to His house, faithfully, He will open portals over us, and they will generate a blessing that there will be no room to keep. But many have been tithing and have not seen this promise perform in their lives. They have not seen it because for most, their obedience is unreal. It is not complete.
It is when our obedience if complete that God’s power can be released.
Under the law, you come under a curse for not tithing, but under grace you don’t. You only hinder the arm of the LORD from pouring things in your life, thereby robbing God of not seeing the rewards of tithing speaking in your life. That is what the Bible meant by saying, “you have robbed God.”
It did not mean you have stollen from God. No one can steal from God!!
As we bring this to a close, we understand that how you use your money will determine a lot about the flow of miracles in your finances. People who allow the voice of the LORD to govern things in their lives, especially to control how they use their money, will always unlock the miraculous in their lives especially their financial life.
