TODAY’S DEVOTION (TUESDAY 18TH November 2025)
“And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.”
“And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days.” Joel 2:28-29 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 322ND DAY OF OUR YEAR OF VICTORY
From the first hour of the year, to this moment, God has been faithful. I remember how we spent the first hour. It was in God’s presence; we started the year in God’s presence. In fact, we spent the first hour in the right place, the place of corporate fellowship. We spent it seeking the LORD.
Most of us were not sure what the year had for us, but we trusted the Higher Declaration that came long before that night, and marched on gallantly, believing in our merciful creator to keep us. Glory to God today we have seen three hundred and twenty-two of the three hundred and sixty-five days of the year already.
What a great seed of Love He has always sown into our lives. All through this year, the LORD has manifested Himself as our redeemer and done much more than words can capture. To Him belong all the glory! Amen!!
Growing up helps one to mature in knowledge and discover certain things.
I have come to discover that life is full of challenges but when you have a good God by your side, it does not matter the challenges, neither does it matter who is not on your side. There are times that you must be rejected by small minds, even when you are doing great and righteous things, before you can be accepted by great minds. Such is life!!
I have this childhood persuasion that has kept me all these years. It says, “if God be for us, it takes a fool to be against us!” We have seen so many miracles since we came to East Africa for ministry.
God has been strategically intervening in the battles the enemy has been mustering against us, especially the ones that people under the enemy’s sway are used. To Him belongs all the glory.
I REMEMBER THE SMALL MEETINGS WE HAD IN SOME SMALL TOWNS HERE IN KENYA WHEN WE FIRST CAME.
The small meetings were held at Mwea, Muranga and Sagana here in Kenya. The one in Mwea would later explode to tear the small town open for the LORD with lost souls who had been church members of so many churches realizing that they were unsaved and deceived.
They had believed the gospel of the antichrist all their lives and were in danger of not just hell but the kingdom of darkness they still belonged to unknowingly. The pastors who ignorantly kept them in such spiritually dark cells are still upset with us till date, because they were too blind to see the arm of the LORD behind what happened!!
Jesus literally repeated what happened in Acts 19, and all hell let loosed on us after we left. The preachers in the small town teamed up to hurt us when the people called on us to come start a church there. I said to them I cannot leave Nairobi and go there, beside I was yet to know the strategy the LORD brought me here to implement in the establishment of the 3rd day Church in East Africa.
Then we spoke to small cities by mouth, now we are speaking to many nations by Television; that is in 12 years of public meetings.
The Cry of the Spirit Ministries Global will be 12 years old in April next year, but our public meetings will be 13 years by then. Things that happened in those days were interesting. The first meeting we had as Cry of the Spirit Ministries was called FAMILY LIBERATION SUMMIT; it was full of God’s word and presence.
The message that was preached that day was titled “PORTALS OF MERCY.” The attendance was 35 people. Sadly, we have only six of the 35 people left today (including My Wife and I).
From that meeting, God began to enable us to continue with many other meetings till date. I can say God has enabled us to preach over 2800 messages since then.
The people of God can indeed do all things through Christ that strengthens them. The LORD has strengthened us through and through. He has strengthened us against the occult powers that rose against us, against personal challenges of life, and against what would have made sure the ministry never existed.
INDEED, IF A MINISTRY BELONGS TO JESUS, HE WILL FILL IT WITH HIS WORD AND MANIFEST PRESENCE AND BRING HIS SHEEP TO LIE DOWN THERE.
That is how He cause His work to prosper. We started with 35 people including children but today Christ has brought in hundreds and now thousands of His sheep to lie down in the green pastures of the Cry of the Spirit Ministries. To God be the glory!
The lesson here is huge. Indeed, if God be by your side, it does not matter who is not!
The best thing to do on earth is to submit to Christ and spend your years doing just His blessed will! That is exactly what we have been doing since we came to the apostolic fields of East Africa. You must understand that your human life will worth nothing, except you spend it doing the things assigned to you by the LORD Jesus Christ.
Paul wrote saying:
“But life is worth nothing unless I use it for doing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus-the work of telling others the Good News about God’s mighty kindness and love.” Acts 20:24 TLB
My greatest satisfaction in life comes when I am doing things assigned to me by the LORD Jesus. Yes, I have failed several times and disappointed Him in so many ways, but I have never failed to keep following His will, ways and plan for my life. You can do the same. It is worth it!
I encourage you this morning to start spending your days as you should. Stop comparing yourself with people. There is a plan of God for your life, follow it. Compare yourself with it.
PEOPLE MAY NOT UNDERSTAND YOU BUT JUST FOLLOW IT. A TIME WILL COME WHEN THEY WILL UNDERSTAND AND THANK YOU FOR FOLLOWING.
There is wisdom in spending your days doing only what Jesus assigned you to do. That is the wisdom that many are yet to come to terms with. It gives you all that Jesus offers for those who serve Him.
It keeps the Holy Spirit working in your life and supplying the wisdom you need. Do not forget, the Holy Spirit, is the Central Bank of God’s wisdom on earth. If you have Him, you have Heaven’s system of unlocking the depths of God on earth in your life. The Bible says;
“For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.” (1 Corinthians 2:11 NKJV)
We cannot over emphasize the necessity of God’s wisdom to us on earth – be it the wisdom of spending your days doing only what he assigns you, or the wisdom to properly manage your life daily. The Holy Spirit in us is the indwelling presence that makes all forms of Godly wisdom available to us. He is the custodian of the wisdom of God because He alone knows what is in God.
So, He helps us to access that wisdom as we fellowship with Him. That is why you must not neglect Him. He is not just the Central Bank of God’s wisdom; He is also God’s Central Intelligence Agency (God’s CIA) on earth. He gathers intelligence for us from the depths of God to help build our lives on earth. The Bible says:
“But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.” 1 Corinthians 2:10-12 NKJV
THE INTEL HE BRINGS TO US FROM THE DEPTHS OF GOD ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR LIVING PEACEFUL AND GLORIOUS LIVES ON EARTH.
Personally, the intel He has constantly brought to me from the LORD Jesus Christ has helped me in doing what He assigned to me and succeeding in it. It has helped in protecting me from myself and from others.
Yes, sometimes we need to be protected from ourselves because it is possible to be the greatest enemy of ourselves.
The intel the Holy Spirit brings from the LORD who made us, helps us protect ourselves because sometimes we are our own enemies. It is possible and very easy to become your own enemy after God has given you rest from your enemies.
As God’s Central Intelligence Agency on earth, the Holy Spirit also gathers intelligence for us from the kingdom of darkness and the kingdom of men. This is to protect us from their evil plans against us like He gathered for Elisha, reporting even what was being planned from the bedroom of the King of Syria.
If you do not have this Central Intelligence service of the Holy Spirit in your life, your enemies will always have you for dinner. You will be making foolish decisions and bringing swift destruction to your life. People who carry Him in their spirits do not walk in foolishness.
Apart from transforming us to live a Christian life with moral excellence and function in the Kingdom with power and the glory, the primary purpose of the Holy Spirit is to animate us with GOD’s wisdom including the revelation of the things that have been freely given to us.
In other words, one of the things He does is to impart divine wisdom into us by gathering intelligence for us and unfolding mysteries or hidden truths to us. On this note the Bible says:
“Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.” 1 Corinthians 2:12 NKJV
THIS AND OTHER UNSTATED REASONS ARE WHAT MAKE THE HOLY GHOST THE MOST IMPORTANT PERSON ON THE FACE OF THE EARTH.
He is so important to Humanity that the enemy fights relentlessly to sway men to ignore Him completely. Ignoring Him is the best way to keep people of God powerless and devourable.
Satan knows that if we give the Holy Ghost His place in our lives, we will become flames of supernatural fire making the earth too hot for his activities and kingdom. That is why he even got the Church stuck to “the anointing oil” that was instituted in the Old Testament to announce the coming of the Holy Ghost.
The greatest hindrance to genuine infilling of the Holy Ghost in so many churches today is a Christianity mixed with worldliness, then with bottles of anointing Oil used to replace the true anointing of the Holy Ghost.
Friend, the true anointing of the Holy Ghost cannot be put in a bottle. God wants it in your life. And the Only way you can have it is to receive what we call an outpouring of the Holy Ghost upon your life.
Our devotional text today is a prophecy that is yet to be fulfilled in the lives of so many because of this anointing oil madness that we got stuck in.
It says;
“And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days.”
Have you received this outpouring as a Christian?
I am not asking if you have ever fallen under the anointing. I am asking if God has poured His Holy Ghost upon you like it happened in the day of Pentecost. The journey into the Season of the Feast of Tabernacle is not possible without experiencing your Pentecost. Not the fake one many have experienced. Sadly, present day Pentecostals do not have the Holy Ghost.
They have a douse of His anointing but do not have His person, that is why they speak in powerless tongues and go for deliverance every week.
YOUR LIFE WILL BECOME A PILLAR OF FIRE SPIRITUALLY IF GOD POURS HIS HOLY GHOST UPON YOU LIKE HE DID IN ACTS 2.
You will be animated to operate the wisdom of God and to do supernatural things like the early Church when it happens. Simply put, you will be turned into another man!
Friend, if you want to become a devil chaser instead of being the one chased by devils, you do not need the anointing Oil in a bottle that your Bishops call “power instruments,” you need an outpouring of the Holy Ghost. Anything about God you limit to a bottle or other things makes you a sorcerer or a charismatic witch.
God want to pour His Holy Spirit into your life and turn you into a small “G” on the face of the earth so you can join the angels in the invisible realm to convert the Kingdoms of this world into that of God and of His Christ. He wants to pour what will baptize you with supernatural wisdom.

For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.” Acts 2:38-39 NKJV
