TODAY’S DEVOTION (THURSDAY 27TH November 2025)
“He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much.
Therefore, if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?
And if you have not been faithful in what is another man’s, who will give you what is your own?” Luke 16:10-12 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 331STDAY OF OUR YEAR OF VICTORY
Slowly and surely, we are getting closer and closer to another year according to the Gregorian calendar that majority of the world uses. For prophetic people, who use the Bible calendar, we are already in a new year!!
We are already cruising on the ship of Jehovah called “strategic Victories.” Though the storms may come, though the winds may blow, the LORD is the captain of the ship. He will always rise to calm the storms and silence the winds.
One of the many storms and winds people face in life is the storm created by people, and the winds of utterance made by the hateful or hurting. I remember growing up and hearing from one of the most influential people in my life say to me, “you will never make it in life. You will never succeed.” I cried because I was ignorant.
I cried and felt unwanted and detected because I never knew a man’s success or failure in life is not dependent on what people say to them but what they say to themselves and the laws they allow to govern their lives. I now know that there are laws that if you apply to your life will help you succeed even in the presence of your enemies.
The Bible calls them, “the laws of the LORD.” Yesterday devotional brought one of them, called the law of visionary purity. Today we want to share another, which is the law of being faithful in another man’s own.
I have come to discover that you will succeed even in the midst of your enemies if you apply this law to your life. The Bible teaches that we can have a table in the presence of our enemies. That is the truth. No enemy can stop you from succeeding in life if you are living a life according to God’s will and God’s laws.
Life lessons have taught me that people do not fail because of what people say to them or say about them. People fail because of the laws they are not applying to their daily lives.
IF YOU ARE LAWFUL, YOU WILL SUCCEED IN LIFE BY GOD’S DEFINATION OF SUCCESS.
One of the laws that will help you succeed is the law of being faithful in another man’s own. This law is a critical law that is very difficult to obey in a world where everyone wants to lead, wants to be served and wants to be known. Very few still want to be led, serve others and be behind the scenes.
But let us lay some foundation for this truth on who you really are. To start with, someone once said “within every man is a destiny waiting to be born.” Oh, how true! You are here to make a unique and valuable contribution to the divine evolution of humanity orchestrated by GOD. You have a role to play, a need to meet, a person or person to serve.
Understand that “Everything in creation is connected to a larger system that allows the whole to operate in harmony.” You are to be part of this system. That is why if you look carefully at GOD’s creation, you will realize that everything is, in some way, a response to the need of another.
So, if you are part of GOD’s creation, then you are a response to a need. You are an answer to a prayer, and a solution to a problem. That is who you are! Until you begin to see yourself as a solution to a problem, and find out what that problem is, you will never succeed in life.
Friend, there is a reason for your being. The world needs you that’s why GOD created you.
To succeed in life, especially by God’s definition, you will need to find and take your place in the larger system that allows the whole to operate in harmony. You will need to find the need GOD created you to be a response to, the prayer you were born to be an answer to, or the problem you were fashioned to be a solution to and become all of that.
THERE ARE FEW BIBLE EXAMPLES I WANT TO HIGHLIGHT.
I know many scammers, thieves among us preachers, and charlatans have used her story to steal from naïve believers, but the widow of Zarephath was an answer to the prayer of Elijah for economic sustenance in a special divine mission to Sidon.
He found her gathering sticks to make her last meal, but through the prophetic anointing Elijah presented the problem she was born to solve. She never knew she could be a solution to a problem. Like many people today, all she was thinking was death and dying. But that day she knew and decided to channel her energy towards that.
The result was great success for her and her household. Her story teaches that if we channel our energies to the problems we were born to solve, we will never fail in life. But if we channel them to other things, we will fail.
This woman understood her place in destiny and changed her life for good; she understood that she was a solution to Elijah’s problem, and an answer to his prayer, and took her place, and Heaven responded by making her a success that generation yet to be born will still talk about
Yes, she took her place in the larger system of GOD’s kingdom activities at that time, helping it to function in Harmony for three years in Sidon. Today we are still talking about her.
You will have to do the same to succeed in life. People will talk about you and use you as an inspiration for good deeds if you do the same.
The result of her visionary living was the taking down of the power base of Baal. God will also respond with provisions from unexpected ends for all the three- and a half-year period she served as an answer to Elijah’s prayer and solution to his problem. You will never step into the grace of receiving provisions from unexpected ends if you do not find the problem whose solution you are and live your days serving it.
THAT IS THE MYSTERY OF THE LAW OF BEING FAITHFUL IN ANOTHER MAN’S OWN.
It is when we are faithful in another man’s own that God will give us our own. In fact, we are creating our own by being faithful in another man’s own. That is why not doing that will leave us with no future to step into, because the future has a way of beginning today.
Sadly, many do not have a future to step into when the curtain of time will open for them. The reason is because they are not creating it today by being faithful in another man’s own like Jesus said. You can’t find them functioning as a solution to a problem around in any area of life, hence lacking a future to step into.
On the other side of the coin, Elijah also served as an answer to her prayer and a solution to her problem.
Do not forget, she was preparing for death when the man of GOD came, and she got life instead. Even her Son who was latter struck with death was raised by God through the man of God. So, as she was an answer to his prayer so was Elijah an answer to her prayers too.
That is what visionary living does to all of us. It makes us a solution to each other’s problems and an answer to each other’s prayer. If your life is not an answer to someone’s prayer, and at the same time someone’s life an answer to your own prayer you will never enjoy significant favors, blessings or outbreaks of GOD in life.
There is a prosperity system in God that only comes to you when you function as an answer to someone’s prayer (or a solution to someone’s problem) and someone also function as an answer to your own prayers, and you spend your days living that way.
THAT WAS THE PROSPERITY SYSTEM THAT CHANGED THE LIFE OF THE WIDOW OF ZAREPHATH.
Your life is the next to be changed! You only need to make the right choices to experience the change. Today, there are prophetic and apostolic ministries GOD has commissioned and established to take down Baal in the present perverted church and cut him and his relatives off from the hearts of men.
The ministers heading these ministries needs some kingdom stewards who will serve as an answer to their prayer for all kinds of support for the work of GOD. While they serve as an answer to their prayer for life, provisions from unexpected ends, and other miracles or blessings will begin to flow.
You must find your place in this prophetic and apostolic whole and take it so that the kingdom of GOD will function in harmony and fulfill the mission. That is the only way your own life will be in harmony and rest round about. I believe God is going about seeking for such men. It is my prayer that he finds you available for his use. The Prophetic word says:
“So, I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one.” Ezekiel 22:30 NKJV
If you have been wondering how to find your prophetic destiny or realize why you were born, I have just told you.
God may have created you to be a type of answer to prayer that the widow of Zarephath was to an Elijah. Which also means there is an Elijah out there created to be an answer to your prayers.
BUT YOU WILL NEVER FIND HIM LOOKING FOR MIRACLES. YOU WILL ONLY FIND HIM LOOKING FOR DESTINY.
Too many people are busy meeting needs they were not created to meet, and being answers to prayers they were not created to be. That is why they are not progressing. If you see any small or significant progress in your life after doing a thing for someone or serving someone, you are a solution to the person’s problem, you are an answer to their prayers.
We have an example in our ministry. Many people who served under us in the Church office had their lives drastically changed for good because they are a solution to a problem in the Cry of the Spirit Office. Most of them started enjoying peace and support in life, and some had their lives take a brighter turn when they became part of the team. That is what I am talking about.
Those who will faithfully serve will eventually step into the future their faithfulness will create. Maybe, they could become the next set of church leaders in the future, or some great people in the Kingdom of God when the curtain of time will open for them.
Child of God, there will be no future anywhere for you, if you are not faithful in another man’s own. That is the message of the law of being faithful in another man’s own. Our devotional text says:

It is not your prayer life that will create a great future, it is a prayer life while living a life of faithfulness in another man’s own. Jacob stepped into the house of Laban with nothing but left with everything. He left with a future his faithfulness created for him.

“You know that I have served your father with all my might and power. But your father has deceived me and changed my wages ten times, but God did not allow him to hurt me.
If he said, The speckled shall be your wages, then all the flock bore speckled; and if he said, The streaked shall be your hire, then all the flock bore streaked.
Thus God has taken away the flocks of your father and given them to me.” Genesis 31:6-9 AMPC
