TODAY’S DEVOTION (FRIDAY 28TH November 2025)
“He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much.
Therefore, if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?
And if you have not been faithful in what is another man’s, who will give you what is your own?” Luke 16:10-12 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 332ND DAY OF OUR YEAR OF VICTORY
Today we want to look at the things we could not share in yesterday’s devotional from our devotional text. We decided to repeat yesterday’s devotional text today for the same purpose.
Yesterday we focused on the last line of the scripture that spoke about being faithful on another man’s own. Today we want to wrap that up by first looking at the laws Jesus taught and placed them within the preceding scriptures. Again, the scripture of our text says:
“He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much.
Therefore, if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?
And if you have not been faithful in what is another man’s, who will give you what is your own?” Luke 16:10-12 NKJV
The word is saying, if we are not faithful in handling or managing money, or any other earthly riches, who will give us a spiritual destiny to handle or manage? We will mishandle and waste it away the way many are doing, and most have done in church history.
A spiritual destiny is a treasure of Heaven on earth. It is in Heaven what money is on earth. It is to be invested wisely so that the divine purposes God burry in it can be fulfilled according to divine pattern. If we do not know how to handle money, we will not know how to handle destiny, because they both require shrewdness, wisdom and proper investment actions.
IF YOU ARE WASTEFUL IN HANDLING MONEY, DOUBTLESSLY, YOU WILL JUST RUIN THE TREASURE OF A SPIRITUAL DESTINY ALSO.
God who knows our hearts and thought afar off will not even commit such Heavenly treasure to us. One may say, “I have not handled money so how would God know what I would do with it?” The Bible teaches that He can because He is omniscience, or all knowing.
He lives in any future that is yet to be created on earth and knows exactly how we will behave when we get there. You see that in what the scriptures says about Esau and Jacob. The Bible says,
(for the children not yet being born, nor having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works but of Him who calls), it was said to her, “The older shall serve the younger.”
As it is written, “Jacob I have loved, but Esau I have hated.” Romans 9:11-13 NKJV
God commented on children that were yet to be born because He lives in the very futures that was yet to be born. Before His eternal eyes, it is already there and He saw how they kids will behave and then made the comment, so that the kid can walk with Him and change the narrative.
But sadly, Esau did not, hence he lived the very life God foresaw and proclaimed he would. God reveals to transform or redeem. He does not reveal such things because He wants them to come to pass. He reveals to lead those heading them to defeat it because it is not part of their destinies. If they refuse to defeat it, then it comes part of their lives.
So, God knows if any of us will be a good manager of His Heavenly treasure. It may not need to be managed in the carnal ways money is managed, but it needs to be managed on the same principles that money is managed. That is why you find people who cannot manage money, being unable to manage their lives or their spiritual destiny.
THIS PRECEDING LAW OF SUCCESS MUST BE RESPECTED AND HONORED!!
Sometimes, it is not money we are given to handle in other to train on handling destiny but other people’s needs, prayers and problems. If we are not faithful in being solutions to the problems and answers to those prayers, we will not come into our destiny. In other words, God will not give us our own to pursue. We will lack the fitness. That is where the last verse of the devotional text comes in. It says:
“And if you have not been faithful in what is another man’s, who will give you what is your own?” Luke 16:12 NKJV
We saw the faith the widow of Zarephath demonstrated in our devotional yesterday. The widow was faithful in answering Elijah’s prayers, and by doing so she got her own prayers answered. Elijah was also faithful in answering her prayers and by so doing, he got his own prayers answered. That was a perfect synchronicity. It was a symbiotic one.
You need this symbiotic synchronicity with someone out there to succeed in life. If your life is not answering someone’s prayers, be sure that your life prayers will also not be answered. That is the law. Being an answer to another person’s prayer or solution to a need is part of what visionary or successful living is all about.
Until you fit into it, you will keep diminishing in life. Now, there are other people in scriptures whose lives speak the same truths to us, but we will take one more. We will look at Joshua.
Joshua was born to be a solution to Moses’ need for an Assistant in a huge mission to birth a nation. He found it and stuck to that faithfully. The result was him taking over from Moses.
BEFORE HE GOT THERE, HE WAS SO PASSIONATE ABOUT MOSES THAT HE NEVER WANTED ANYONE TO BREAK HIS RULES IN THE CAMP.
People must have spoken ill of him for being so passionate, because that is what such people go through, but he never cared about what they said. When Moses would depart from the active presence of GOD to go talk to the people, he would remain watching over things and making sure everything behind the scenes was in order.
He was not looking for visibility or attention but for the release of his destiny as Moses’ assistant or close quarter helper.
Close quarter helpers are usually unknown to the public. They only become known when God reward them for their faithfulness by elevating them. Joshua was a close quarter helper. He only became famous when GOD elevated him in due season.
Until then, he was loyal, and so loyal to God and to Moses that GOD found him worthy to lead Israel into the promise land. All his days under Moses, he was an answer to the man of God’s prayer for a loyal, sincere, GOD loving, morally pure and very helpful close quarter assistants.
Personally, this has been my cry and the cry of other servants of God I have met in recent weeks. We have so many people in our lives, but few are willing to pay the price for us. The rest are selfish and very carnal. Most times there is no one to serve as a close quarter helper in the war.
Some we bring in to serve end up developing carnal passions and sometimes wicked passions that brings ruin instead of help. Very, very few Joshua members are available today for the many Moses around.
Child of God, there is a huge vacancy for some Joshua men and women to serve as answers to the prayers of some Moses men and women in end time correctional ministries like ours. The vacancy is so huge that sometimes we wonder what is wrong with the long queue of redundant church members who cannot find out if they are an answer to a preacher’s cry for a Joshua and begin to build character for it.
YES, BUILD CHARACTER FOR IT UNTIL GOD SPOT YOU FOR SERVICE, NOT PUSH YOURSELF FOR RECOGNITION.
If the cry of a leader for a Joshua type of assistant strike your heart with a deep concern, you could be a Joshua to a Moses somewhere in GOD’s present kingdom. Maybe you were created to serve a visionary leader like Moses, as a close quarter helper. Visionary living involves you finding that out, the way Joshua did, and spending the rest of your days fulfilling it.
Do not forget, you will never become great until you serve the great and do so faithfully.
At one time the cry of my spiritual father for an assistant like Joshua, struck me with such deep concern that I had to shut down my own ministry to go serve him. Though he turned it down because he felt I was doing a great work for the LORD in Abuja then and he would not want it to stop, but I am glad I did.
The LORD used that to blessed me greatly.
Today we cannot find same minds to help us do things we cannot delegate. Yes, there are things you cannot delegate but you have no time to do them all the time. They will require people with your kind of spirit and intuition to do them. That was who Joshua was to Moses. That was why GOD said to him:
“No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you.” Joshua 1:5 NKJV
Many have not realized that sometimes in the Christian faith, God can only be with you the way He was with the person you have served. Meaning, there are dimensions of God’s favor, power, and prosperity that you will never see in life until you serve someone who prayed a prayer that GOD made you an answer to.
Yes, there are dimensions of GOD’s blessings you will never walk in until you discover the problem whose solution you are, and your place in the system that allows the whole of GOD’s kingdom to function in harmony. Time to stop being at ease in Zion and start living as a child of God who is an answer to the prayer of someone and a solution to a Kingdom need in the reformation space.
LET THIS SCRIPTURE be AN ADDITIONAL MEDITATION FOR THE DAY!
“Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a live coal which he had taken with the tongs from the altar.
And he touched my mouth with it, and said: “Behold, this has touched your lips; Your iniquity is taken away, and you’re in purged.”
Also, I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.” Isaiah 6:6-8 NKJV
