TODAY’S DEVOTION (SUNDAY 30TH November 2025)
“As for these four young men, God gave them knowledge and skill in all literature and wisdom; and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.
Now at the end of the days, when the king had said that they should be brought in, the chief of the eunuchs brought them in before Nebuchadnezzar.
Then the king interviewed them, and among them all none was found like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah; therefore, they served before the king.
And in all matters of wisdom and understanding about which the king examined them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers who were in all his realm.
Thus Daniel continued until the first year of King Cyrus.” Daniel 1:17-21 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 334TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF VICTORY
This Sunday morning, we want to look at something I describe as visionary education. Yes, the first time I shared this was about three years ago. Those who know the principle of visionary education, are today using their education to fulfill their divine destiny.
As the year comes to an end, there is need for goal setting, goal setting within God’s plans. One of the goals to set could be education. Maybe you want to use 2026 to study or acquire a fresh skill, certificate or degree. Today’s devotional will be of help.
To start with, it is important to understand that the best gift you can give to your child, or the best inheritance you can leave behind for your child is quality education.
Quality education is a heritage that no greedy uncle or aunt can take from your children if you fulfill your days and die. They could take the piece of land you gave them; they could seize a house you built for them but will never be able to take away their education, something that can make them richer than you.
In the same way, one of the best gifts a Child of God can get from His Heavenly Father is quality revelation. The difference between quality education and quality revelation is like day and night, like the sun and the moon. Yes, quality education is like the moon, but quality revelation is superior, because it is like the sun.
There is also the combination of Quality education and quality revelation. That is where visionary education comes in. Visionary education is schooling in response to a prophetic revelation from the LORD. It is education guided by a revelation knowledge of what God want to do with your life. It is acquiring a secular education led by the LORD.
YES, THE LORD WANT TO LEAD US EVEN IN MATTERS OF SECULAR EDUCATION.
I remember a woman who manipulated her highly gifted son not to go for secular education. He said to him, “God said you should not go to school. That you do not need schooling to do his work.” It was a terrible deception from hell, because it runs contrary to the scriptures.
God said to Habakkuk, “write the vision, and make it plain upon table.” You can’t do that without education. God would not have said so in His word and then go to say, you should not go to school.
Friend, a people who allow the LORD to lead them, especially in education matters, will see their secular education being used by God to make them ride on the high places of the earth. In other words, God will use their secular education to bless and elevate them in life.
To ride on the high places of the earth further means to be placed by God in a position of advantage, victory, and prominence in a nation. That might not be possible if you lack secular education that God guided you into.
Sadly, many that God wants to elevate into positions of advantage in life cannot be elevated because they lack quality secular education. They lack visionary education.
Some went to school, acquired certificates but they were not guided by prophetic revelation, hence cannot be lifted. But the Bible says:
“So, the LORD alone led him, and there was no foreign god with him. He made him ride in the heights of the earth, that he might eat the produce of the fields; He made him draw honey from the rock, and oil from the flinty rock;” Deuteronomy 32:12-13 NKJV
THERE IS A LOT IN THIS SCRIPTURE TO DRAW FROM. BUT WE WILL STICK TO THE COURSE OF TODAY’S SHARING!!
To draw honey from the rock and oil from the flinty rock is a metaphor for receiving blessings from unlikely or difficult sources. That is what you can use your secular education to achieve by the help of God, especially if your education was guided by prophetic visions, or if it was visionary.
Yes, there are instances where you do not need a secular education to be elevated like in the case of Joseph in Egypt, but there are times you will need, as in the case of Daniel in Babylon. Understand that many are still beneath in life because of lack of a quality secular education or because of being educated outside God’s plans and program for their lives.
There is another problem. Some have certificates but do not have an education. Yes, you can have a certificate but no education. That is when you go through school, without school going through you.
Consequently, leaving God with no avenue to use in making you ride on the high places of the earth, or draw honey from the rock, and oil from the flinty rock.
Drawing oil from the flinty rock also means having an abundance of whatever you need in life even in barren conditions. It is one of the most beautiful things God can accomplish in our lives. Again, the word says, “So, the LORD alone led him, and there was no foreign god with him.”
Friend, when the LORD leads you in life, and you allow Him to lead you on what to acquire in a secular institution, or you add quality education to His leading, you will find yourself having abundance even in barren conditions. You will also find yourself reigning in spiritual and secular matters, consequently, riding on the high places of the earth.
DANIEL WAS ONE BIBLE CHARACTER THAT EXPERIENCED THIS BLESSING IN A FOREIGN LAND.
The LORD lifted him and his friends and made them ten times better than the rest. You can be made ten times better than the rest if you enjoy the same blessing. A portion of our devotional text says:
“And in all matters of wisdom and understanding about which the king examined them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers who were in all his realm. Thus, Daniel continued until the first year of King Cyrus.” Daniel 1:20-21 NKJV
This scripture tells us that, at the completion of a three-year secular education on matters of governance, economy, and military victories, the king found Daniel and his three friends ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers who were in all his realm: not some of his realm but all his realm.
Now, they all attended the same secular school, got the same quality of education but Daniel and his friends became ten times better. What happened? You may ask. Well, the Spirit of God added to what they learned and made them ten times better.
If you say you do not need education in your quest for successful living, you have just limited yourself. There are things you will not be able to do or become in life. I have people in my life who know God so much but because they did not acquire a good education in life, they cannot find a good job or prosper in business. They are struggling so badly.
There are people that if you look at, you will say to yourself, “if this one had been educated, in this and that field, with a beautiful degree, they would have become financially rich in God’s kingdom”. Do not let anyone deceive you with spooky prophecies! If you do not add quality education to your life on earth, you could struggle through life despite your dedication to God.
QUALITY EDUCATION WILL GIVE YOU AN ADVANTAGE OVER OTHERS. IT WILL MAKE YOUR DEDICATION TO GOD MEANINGFUL.
Look at it this way; if a dedicated Christian without a degree in satellite engineering or data processing, go for a job where such specialties are needed, and an agent of the devil with the degrees and even much more go for same job, the agent of the devil will get it and use it to do whatever the devil wants him to do with it.
But the dedicated Christian will not get it even if it’s God’s will that he or she gets it.
Do you know how many things God willed for you to have that may never come to you because you lack the education to make them come? There is a way believers frustrate GOD’s will for their lives for not having quality education. God wants that to stop hence sending this word!!
The entrance of His word give slight! I believe you have received light!!!
As we bring this to a close, we want to thank the LORD for taking us from the first day of this month, the 11th month of the year, to today, the last day. God wants us to consider visionary education and remove the limitations imposed on our lives by lack of it.
Yes, lack of education can limit you in life. Can you imagine If Daniel was not schooled in the wisdom of Babylon, and Moses in the wisdom of Egypt, they would not have fulfilled their destinies.
Moses could write the ten commandments because he was schooled. If He was not, their would have been no Genesis to Deuteronomy. In fact, if God had no educated people in His kingdom of Bible days, there would have been no Bible book. They all wrote because they could. Those who could not, got those who could to write.
You will never become what God has created you to be if you ignore learning. The most accurate versions of the Bible were written by very educated scholars.
There is so much on this subject but enough has been shared for the day! If you are a dedicated believer, please go for education, pursue visionary education. It is never too late to be in school. We should all go learn what will make us unleash our destinies and live successful lives on this side of eternity. Amen!!

The queen, because of the words of the king and his lords, came to the banquet hall. The queen spoke, saying, “O king, live forever! Do not let your thoughts trouble you, nor let your countenance change.
There is a man in your kingdom in whom is the Spirit of the Holy God. And in the days of your father, light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, were found in him; and King Nebuchadnezzar your father—your father the king—made him chief of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers.
Inasmuch as an excellent spirit, knowledge, understanding, interpreting dreams, solving riddles, and explaining enigmas were found in this Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar, now let Daniel be called, and he will give the interpretation.” Daniel 5:10-12 NKJV
