TODAY’S DEVOTION (MONDAY 1ST DECEMBER 2025)
Lift up your eyes, look around and see; All these gather together and come to you. As I live,” says the Lord, “You shall surely clothe yourselves with them all as an ornament, And bind them on you as a bride does. Isaiah 49:18 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 334TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF VICTORY
From the first day of the year to when the LORD declared strategic Victory upon us and till date, it’s been the goodness of the LORD galore. Our mouths cannot tell of all His marvelous kindness, the flow of His marvelous works, the multitude of unending mercies, and the depth of His compassion. The combination of all that is the reason we are alive.
If He was to mark iniquity no one shall stand, but there is forgiveness with Him so that He might be feared. We will not fail to speak of His unspeakable love and glorious works.
We have also experienced His living truths as never before, even as we step foot into the 12th Month of the year. I believe the best meal on earth is yet to be cooked by any chef on the face of the earth because the best meal on earth is the meal of the word and the goodness of the LORD. To His glory, God has been feeding us with both!!
Permit me to say this, no matter what you eat from the kitchen of men, devils can still feed on you. But when you feed from God’s kitchen, no demon can feed on you. Satan cannot feed on people who feed on the word. You see that all through the scriptures.
December is usually a time of thanksgiving and preparation for the new year. As part of your preparation for 2026, one of the things you should plan to keep doing is feeding on the true word!! If you live your 2026 feeding on the True word no demon will be able to feed on you.
After the flood, the first generation of people to feed on GOD’s word was the Abrahamic seed. The Bible says they were fed with manna from God’s kitchen in Heaven.
MANNA WAS A TEMPLATE OF GOD’S WORD. THEY ATE IT UNTIL THEY GOT TO THE PROMISE LAND.
The promise land for us is Heaven. We are to feed on God’s word and live a life that is not of this world until we fulfill our days and step our feet on the promise land of Heaven. While feeding on His word, diseases, devils and sin will not be able to feed on us. You see all that in a shadow form in the life of those who first did.
During the days that the Abrahamic seed fed on manna (significance of God’s word), the Bible says their garment did not wear out, neither did their feet swelled. There was no feeble or poor one among them. Yet, they were walking in a terrible wilderness full of snakes and scorpions. It is clear in scriptures that the word they ate made sure nothing ate them.
I have said it repeatedly that we are what we eat. If we eat the word of God, we will become sons or offspring of the GOD whose word we have eaten. But if we do not eat His word, we will become like mere men and live a vulnerable life in this accurse world.
Jesus made it clear that anytime the word of the LORD enters our hearts, and we allow it to become our main spiritual meal, dimensions of God’s presence will break out in our lives and turn us into gods. In other words, we will partake of the divine nature. If you partake of the divine nature, no one with the demonic nature can have dominion over you.
On the word helping us to partake of the divine nature, Jesus said in John 10:35 “If He called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken), (NKJV).
When the word comes to you as spirit and life, and you eat it that way over time, your humanity will be swallowed by God’s divinity. When your humanity is swallowed by God’s divinity, you will see your life covered with people brought by the LORD to add value to your life.
Do not forget, we all need people to become the persons God created us to be. This is one Bible truth that is worth repeating again and we will do it in this devotion.
THAT BRINGS US TO OUR DEVOTIONAL TEXT FOR THE DAY.
It says:
Lift up your eyes, look around and see; All these gather together and come to you. As I live,” says the Lord, “You shall surely clothe yourselves with them all as an ornament, And bind them on you as a bride does. Isaiah 49:18 NKJV
This blessing begins with the word coming into our hearts and transforming us. It begins after we have partaken of the divine nature through the word and power of God in our lives. The constant and consistent coming of the word of the LORD to our hearts and the release of the power of the Holy Spirit is therefore the greatest thing that can ever happen to us.
It will bring people that will clothe your life with the things God wants them to clothe your life with.
They will clothe your life like an ornament, according to scriptures, because people God brings into our lives do not usually come without a purpose. They are usually brought either for us to solve their problems and they in turn solve ours, or for them to solve our problems and we in turn solve theirs. It could be any of that.
The word and the Spirit of the LORD helping you to partake of the divine nature, is therefore what to seek from the LORD daily.
Yes, if the word of the LORD and the Spirit of the LORD keeps coming to us daily, we will come to a realm of manifestation that will fit what creation is waiting for. We will come to the place where the sin age will be ended in our individual lives. That is why God will keep giving us His word and great will keep being the company of the men and women that spreads or publishes it. The Bible says:
“The Lord gave the word; great was the company of those who proclaimed it:” Psalm 68:11 NKJV
THE NEED FOR US TO PARTAKE OF THE DIVINE NATURE IS NOT JUST FOR THE RELEASE OF NEEDED MEN TO US. THERE IS MORE
Yes, the nature helps us to attract to ourselves the men and women we need to function in our lives as a brotherhood born for adversity. The Bible says in Proverbs 17:17 “a friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity” (NKJV).
Friend, we all need this kind of people to become a person. Our lives needs this kind of people to be all that God created it to be. God’s will, as seen in our devotional text, is to clothe us with such men and women because it is still not good for a man of destiny, one on a divine mission, to be alone. If he or she is alone, their God given destinies might not be fulfilled.
But as earlier stated, apart from having the gifts of men in our lives, there are other reasons why we all need to partake of the divine nature through a constant feeding on God’s word and outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon our lives. One of the reasons is for healing or divine health.
Sickness is not something that is new to mankind. The only person sickness was not known to was Adam, because he never knew it existed. In other words, he never knew he could be sick until the fall took place and his 930 years got to its expiring season.
History has it that during that season, he painfully lamented over what Eve did while they were in the Garden.
He was in pain because of the illness that struck him and the possibility of dying. Prior to that time, he never knew that human life could come to an end, and that the body of man could expire.
The glory of God in the garden made all that impossible. But when he lost that glory, and his body became exposed to a no glory environment, all the things that were not possible in his life, became possible.
It became possible for him to break down in health, and die, a major curse that Jesus reversed and will ultimately wipe away at the consummation of all things. But before that time will come, God created a survival plan for us, and Jesus is the plan.
PARTAKING OF HIS NATURE IS THE PLAN. IT IS HIS NATURE THAT WE CALL THE DIVINE NATURE.
We partake of the nature by feeding on Him, the bread that came down from Heaven, through a constant encounter with His word, and release of His Spirit upon our lives. He said:
Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life.
I am the bread of life. Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and are dead. This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that one may eat of it and not die.
I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.” John 6:47-51 NKJV
He gave us His flesh when He died on the cross, now He is giving it to us as the word He speaks, that comes to us as spirit and life when we meditate on the holy Scriptures, leading to the release of His divine nature into our human nature. That is how we partake of His divine nature today.
The LORD presented His flesh that come to us as His inspired word, and blood that come to us as His Holy Spirit better than what Israel ate in the wilderness. He said, “your fathers at the manna in the wilderness and are dead.”
What they ate in the wilderness only took care of their physical bodies but not their spiritual lives. But the divine nature we partake takes care of both. I believe the LORD has spoken to us. Time to run with the word all through the new month.
Always remember that when we partake of that nature, we can be either healed or live in divine health. We can only die when our days are fulfilled, not before they are fulfilled.
In other words, premature death will be far from us. Premature death in God’s kingdom is not when you die young. You could die old and is still premature. Premature death is when you die without fulfilling why you were born. The Bible says the number of our days we will fulfill, not just live.
It also says we will not be slaves to any kind of disease.
Child of God, if we want to live a healthy life in 2026, if we want to fulfill our days, I think God has just given us the key. Aside from eating healthy meals and doing healthy things, you must partake of God’s divine nature.
Happy new month!
MAKE THIS SCRIPTURAL AN ADDITIONAL MEDITATION FOR THE DAY.
Grace and peace [that special sense of spiritual well-being] be multiplied to you in the [true, intimate] knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.
For His divine power has bestowed on us [absolutely] everything necessary for [a dynamic spiritual] life and godliness, through true and personal knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.
For by these He has bestowed on us His precious and magnificent promises [of inexpressible value], so that by them you may escape from the immoral freedom that is in the world because of disreputable desire, and become sharers of the divine nature. 2 Peter 1:3-4 AMP
