TODAY’S DEVOTION (Wednesday 30TH September 2020)
“For a long time Israel has been without the true God, without a teaching priest, and without law; but when in their trouble they turned to the Lord God of Israel, and sought Him, He was found by them.
And in those times there was no peace to the one who went out, nor to the one who came in, but great turmoil was on all the inhabitants of the lands.
So nation was destroyed by nation, and city by city, for God troubled them with every adversity. 2 Chronicles 15:3-6 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 272nd DAY OF OUR YEAR OF REJOICING
Many doubtlessly, slept and did not wake up! But we did! Others woke up on death roll, not by government verdicts but by the verdicts of their health. Child of God, is there nothing to thank God for today in your walk and talk with him? If you look deep, there will be a lot.
If anyone thinks there is nothing to thank GOD for, maybe because he or she is surrounded by impossibilities, I want to counsel we thank Him for waking us up this morning.
It’s being our season of sharing living truths on the mercy of God, and yesterday’s devotion on “GOD’S GREAT MERCIES” is still resonating in my spirit.
I do not know how, but if there is anyone out there who is taking these gracious truths further, chewing on them until, as the Bible puts it, the Day dawns, and the Morning Star (Christ) rises in him, that person will agree with me.
These truths are not for entertainment but for food – for spiritual upbringing. That is why I am urging you to feed yourself from the stable of these apostolic and prophetic meal and not just treat it as an information scooping well.
Because taking in truths like this, and internalizing them will be important to your overall spiritual well being, especially these prophetic seasons that has been ushered in by the Trump Sign in the spirit.
Talking about God’s Mercies; the kingdom of God is not like the kingdom of men. It functions on certain platforms of truth. One of the platforms is how spiritual benefits and blessings increases in the lives of God’s Kingdom Citizens.
Spiritual benefits and blessings increases in our lives, by the power of what we feed on spiritually, and also diminish when we are not properly fed spiritually. This is a very important truth. That is why, the greatest invitation of God to the human race has always been to come and be fed spiritually.
The Bible says,
“It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God'” (Luke 4:4 NKJV).
A large percentage of the Bible is a call to spiritual feeding.
IN FACT, GOD SPOKE TO THE ENTIRE HUMAN RACE, THROUGH HIS PROPHET ISAIAH, SAYING;
“Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the Lord, “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land; But if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword”; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken” Isaiah 1:18-20 NKJV
Reasoning together with GOD is one way we receive rich spiritual food from GOD. That is why if you don’t reason with God grazing through the Holy Scriptures, you will be missing sound spiritual food. And anyone who misses sound spiritual food for too long will be fed up with life.
In other words, if you are not fed spiritually on regular bases, you will become fed up with life. Our spirits are fed whenever we sit down with God to reason together with Him, through corporate or private study of the Bible. If this feeding system is missing in our lives, life itself will become disgusting.
So the call to come and reason together with the LORD is a call to be fed spiritually, and a call to live peacefully in a troubled world. Sadly, so many are yet to obey this call. That is why you find many of us in the faith getting devoured by the sword of our enemies.
The Bible says if we are willing to be fed and obedient enough to make spiritual feeding our highest priority in our Christian life, we shall eat the good of the land. The good of the land is not just the earthly blessings of the nation or City of our residence. That is what it was to the nation of Israel. But to us the spiritual nation of Israel, it is more than treasures in the belly of the earth.
The land today is Christ Himself. David said “the LORD is my portion in the land of the living.” Christ is the portion of all who are truly saved in a wicked world like ours.
If you look deep into Christ, you will see three kind of riches; you will find the riches of His grace, the riches of His mercy, and the riches of His glory.
The good of the land therefore, is the riches of God’s Mercy, the riches of His grace and the riches of His glory.
THE VERY RICHES WE ENJOY AT “THE CRY OF THE SPIRIT MINISTRIES.” HALLELUJAH!
In simple terms, the good of the Land for the saved and sanctified is the blessings of knowing Christ and making Him your portion in the land of the living; a blessing that can only come through proper spiritual feeding (the riches of His mercies, the riches of His grace, and the riches of His glory).
Sadly, many saved and sanctified people do not have these three-fold blessing in their lives. They have the labels on their lips but do not have the content.
They do not have the content because they have not plugged into God’s spiritual feeding program. Until we plug into God’s proper feeding program, we will not be saved from the sword of our enemies, or step into certain kingdom blessings or fulfill Heaven’s assignment for our lives on earth.
I have said this repeatedly that there is spiritual feeding program of God for the end time church. If you have not plucked into it, you will be consumed by the horrors of the last days.
Like we have noted earlier, there is a spiritual feeding program of God for the human race, especially the end time Church. You will never enjoy the good of knowing Christ until you plug into the program and begin to draw your spiritual food from it daily.
If there is any time to quit Churches where they do not feed you but practice charismatic witchcraft and sorcery on you, it is now!
A pastor, prophet, apostle, or priests who lack capacity to properly feed you spiritually, will either be feeding you with deadly things like revelations from the depth of Satan, propelled by divination and sorcery, or spiced with secular humanism and humanistic philosophies.
The smart ones will be feeding you with stolen revelation from other preachers. The Bible says stolen waters are sweet but there is death in it. Meaning, such preaching will be great in your ears but not be able to carry you for the required time.
PLACES WERE PEOPLE ARE NOT SPIRITUAL FED, WILL HAVE PREACHERS FEEDING ON THE PEOPLE.
That is when you will be asked for all kinds of seeds in the name of deliverance. They will be inducing and craftily collecting monies from those who run to them for help, using sand, salt, brooms, clothes, water, mustard seeds, and etc. as prayer gadgets.
The easiest way to rebel against God’s call “to come and be fed” is to get stuck in the ministry of one heretic teacher, or lying prophet or prophetess, or get hooked up to a Church that does not feed you properly but take away all your monies properly.
That is why there is no Christian generation that rebelled against spiritual feeding that did not fall on the sword of their enemies. The good of the land is transmitted into our lives through God’s spiritual feeding program. That is what saves from the sword of the enemy.
Heaven knows that since we left the Garden of Eden, spiritual malnutrition has been our greatest spiritual diseases. That is why you see “proper spiritual feeding program” by the hands of God’s teaching priest (present day prophets and apostles), in every deployment of God’s mercy to any people.
No Child of GOD can successfully pass through a season of no “proper spiritual feeding” without losing one thing or the other.
That is why, whenever God deploy mercy to a people, He will get them plugged to any ministry that is part of His feeding program on earth. In fact, our devotional text tells us what happened to Israel at one season of their lives when there were no men and women of GOD to feed them properly in the things of God.
It says,
“For a long time Israel has been without the true God, without a teaching priest, and without law; but when in their trouble they turned to the Lord God of Israel, and sought Him, He was found by them.
And in those times there was no peace to the one who went out, nor to the one who came in, but great turmoil was on all the inhabitants of the lands.
So nation was destroyed by nation, and city by city, for God troubled them with every adversity.”
If you look at this scripture carefully you will see a nation of God’s people living at a time and season when there was no proper spiritual feeding program for them. It says
“For a long time Israel has been without the true God, without a teaching priest, and without law.”
THE FIRST CONSEQUENCE WAS A NEED BASED RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD.
He was only important to them when there were in trouble. That sound like our generation today! The next consequence was more grievous – the Bible says nation was destroyed by nation, city be City for GOD trouble them with every adversity.
This is also true of many in our generation. Because of lack of a proper spiritual feeding program, many cannot find peace in their cities, Churches, marriages, businesses, families, finances, etc. They move from Church to Church and place to place, looking for succor but finds none.
The fatness of many in the Cry of the Spirit ministries is responsible for the many visitations among us! We are a strong spiritual food house planted on the face of the earth to feed people. God brought us to you at a time like this.
As we bring this devotional to a close, I want reiterate again that the Cry of the Spirit Ministries International is a product of God’s global spiritual feeding program for the End Time. If you are part of the house, just know that God has plugged you into a proper spiritual feeding program for your life.
The great call of the God on you is to be fed properly, and being in the Cry of the Spirit ministries is an opportunity from the LORD to obey that call.
May this word guide you even as we begin a fresh month tomorrow.
