“Go forth from Babylon! Flee from the Chaldeans! With a voice of singing, Declare, proclaim this, Utter it to the end of the earth; Say, “The Lord has redeemed His servant Jacob!” Isaiah 48:20 NKJV

WELCOME TO THE 100TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF STRATEGIC VICTORY

Today we will be looking at the blessing and significance of prophetic provisions. A prophetic provision is a prepared, and necessary supply from God that makes it possible for one to fulfill His preplanned program for a person. It is a supply that aligns with God’s plan for a person, or that enables someone to fulfill God’s plan for his or her life.

For Adam, his prophetic provision was the entire Garden of Eden. Then it progressed, the gold, the rivers, the vegetation, the fruits, thousands of Heavenly Portals that opened over each part of the Garden, and later His marriage.

Yes, you heard me well. His marriage! All was placed in His life so He can properly deputize for God on the face of the earth.

From the life of Adam, we can see that marriage was designed by God to be a prophetic provision from Him to man, but many of us have turned it into other things. That is why we have marriages today that are discouraging the young ones from getting married. We have some that have become the valley of slaughter.

If God designed marriage to be the pain and eyesore it has become today in the lives of many, then He would have been unfair to humanity because there is no marriage in Heaven. But God designed it to be a prophetic provision, it was designed to help mankind unlock God’s program for mankind.

That is why God designed it to begin with a word from Him, and continue with a word from Him, until the days of the couples are fulfilled.

The reason God hates divorce is obvious, and the reason He hates seeing us joined to death partners in what the church describe as holy matrimony is also obvious. God hates divorce because divorce destroys His prophetic purpose for marriage.

GOD ALSO HATES SEEING HIS OWN JOINED TO THE WRONG PERSON IN LIFE, BECAUSE IT ALSO DESTROYED HIS PROPHETIC PURPOSE FOR MARRIAGE.

That was why He supervised the separation or divorce of His holy seed who joined themselves with the people of the idolatrous lands in the days of the Bible and protected His program from destruction. Understand that anything that was designed to be God’s prophetic provision on earth, must not be instituted in the flesh.

It must be instituted in the spirit for it to accomplish God’s will. If it is instituted in the flesh, it will become an instrument of perversion, destruction, decay, and eternal damnation. Even having children was designed to be prophetic provisions. You see that in the kind of children that were born in Bible days and what they accomplished. The Bible says:

“Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, The fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one’s youth.

Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them; They shall not be ashamed, But shall speak with their enemies in the gate.” Psalm 127:3-5NKJV

When man allows Children to be born, not as status symbol, or product of sexual desires, we can have children as God’s prophetic provisions for man on earth. We will have sons and daughters who will speak with our enemies at the gate. We will have children who will not forsake us when we are old, strong men and women from our loins who will give us and the Kingdom of God joy!!

Having children as prophetic provision from God is one of the greatest things that can happen to anyone on earth. Samson was a prophetic provision of God to both his parents and Isreal who were barren for a while. Friend, understand that God has a way of terminating childlessness by sending kids as prophetic provisions from Him.

Samson, Samuel, John the Baptists and many others in the Bible were such children. Their conception sparked a move of God.

Joshua was also a prophetic provision from God for Moses and then for Israel. Moses himself was a prophetic provision of God for the deliverance of Isreal. Noah was a prophetic provision specially born for the flood and the beginning of a fresh race of humans after the flood.

GOD’S PROPHETIC PROVISIONS ARE DETERMINED BY HIS PROPHETIC PLANS AND PROGRAMS.

They span from what have been shared to some other things yet to be mentioned. Some of them are our redemption on the Cross, the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, miracles, signs, wonders, breakthrough, open doors, favor, excellence, divine backing, money, His presence, etc.

Without prophetic provisions, a lot of God’s plans and programs cannot be executed. If you are in God’s plans, programs or will, you have His divine access to things He has prepared in the prophetic to serve as resources for the execution of His plans and programs for your life.

Sometimes you must seek for them in prayer, other times you must be in God’s assignment for your life for them to be released.

Zecharia who was a high priest in Israel in the days of the Bible had no child, but he never allowed it to neutralize his faith in God and stopped him from carrying out His assignment. He went ahead with God’s assignment for His life. Then one day God saw a prophetic need in His life and the life of Israel and sent His angel to prophesy the birth of John the Baptists.

That is how children born as prophetic provisions come sometimes. The life of this Bible figure who lived over two thousand years ago, teaches that sometimes we must be busy with our assignments and God will be busy with assembling His prophetic provisions in our lives.

As earlier stated, God’s prophetic provision come in different formats, it all depends on His assignment for our lives, what He intends doing and all that. For instance, it was a prophetic provision called immaculate conception that brough about the birth of Jesus Christ.

It was same provision that brought about His resurrection. The prophetic provision of the LORD for our lives can take any turn or format, depending on what God wants to do. Our devotional text says:

“Go forth from Babylon! Flee from the Chaldeans! With a voice of singing, Declare, proclaim this, utter it to the end of the earth; Say, “The Lord has redeemed His servant, Jacob!” If we are in in danger of being neutralized by our enemy because of yoking or bonding with anything that will destroy our lives, God’s prophetic provision then will be to guide us to flee.

Time to start yielding to the LORD in ways we have not done before. Amen!!

MAKE THIS SCRIPTURE AN ADDITIONAL MEDITATION FOR THE DAY!

“Words of the wise, spoken quietly, should be heard rather than the shout of a ruler of fools.” “Wisdom is better than weapons of war; but one sinner destroys much good.” Ecclesiastes 9:17-18 NKJV
