Then some of the sons of Benjamin and Judah came to David at the stronghold.
And David went out to meet them, and answered and said to them, “If you have come peaceably to me to help me, my heart will be united with you; but if to betray me to my enemies, since there is no wrong in my hands, may the God of our fathers look and bring judgment.”
Then the Spirit came upon Amasai, chief of the captains, and he said: “We are yours, O David; We are on your side, O son of Jesse! Peace, peace to you, And peace to your helpers! For your God helps you.” So, David received them, and made them captains of the troop. 1 Chronicles 12:16-18 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 101ST DAY OF OUR YEAR OF STRATEGIC VICTORY
Today we will continue with our discourse on prophetic provisions. Like we saw yesterday, a prophetic provision is a prepared, and necessary supply from God that makes it possible for one to fulfill His preplanned program for his or her life.
We said it is a supply that aligns with God’s plan for a person, or that enables someone to fulfill God’s plan for his or her life.
One of the prophetic provisions anyone will ever need to fulfill God’s plans for their life, either the plan to be rich with the prosperity of the righteous, or the plan to have a beautiful family, or the plan to shake the world with His word and power and win souls into His kingdom, is right relationships.
No one will become anything much in this life without good people, sent to you by the LORD. In the words of our devotional texts, you will need the prophetic provision of people God designed and fashioned to be yours to become anything God pre planned for you to be.
David needed a right relationship in Saul’s young daughter to be saved from an assassination plot by her father. She was his own that day, a prophetic provision from the LORD to save his life because his future was great. Apostle Paul needed his little Nephew to be saved from a plot to kill him. He was his own that day, a prophetic provision from the LORD.
You will need men, women, noble persons, relatives, staff, a boss, a parent, or even people you have not met but God has met on your behalf, you will need them to function in your life as your own, a prophetic provision in your life for the release of your destiny.
Yes, there are people you have not met that God has already met on your behalf, like He met the sons of Benjamine on behalf of David. You will need them in your life to become all He has designed you to be.
WITHOUT PEOPLE TOUCHED BY GOD TO TOUCH YOU IN LIFE, YOUR OWN PEOPLE BROUGHT IN BY THE LORD, LIFE WILL NOT BE BEAUTIFUL
The lives of David and apostle Paul teaches us that sometimes people are sent to function as our own, God’s prophetic provisions for our security, peace, preservation from death, destruction and other destiny attacks from hellish people. If such people do not exist in our lives, we will perish despite the ones that may exist.
Understand that No one can become what God has called him to be without the prophetic provision of right relationships. One of the major things to always do is to ask the LORD to plant people who are yours in your life, people you may not have met but He has met them on your behalf.
If you look at our devotional text, you will discover what people God has met to meet us will say or do. First, they will fundamentally see themselves as our helpers not hurters. They will bring peace and not war into our life. They will always be on our side no matter what happens. They will always see us as God sees us; they will never see us in the eyes of others.
Finally, they will see themselves as ours to defend, protect, and make to succeed. Those are the kind of people we all need in our lives, else there will be no release of destiny for us. The people the LORD met to come to David’s life and function as David’s own were stirred by the LORD to say:
“We are yours, O David; We are on your side, O son of Jesse! Peace, peace to you, And peace to your helpers! For your God helps you.” So, David received them, and made them captains of the troop.
Their spirit-led utterance unveiled their true identity to David and he opened his life to them. Like this people were propelled by the LORD to say, you will need people who are yours, who are on your side no matter what, who will speak and create peace in your life, who will function as your helpers not hurters, who will unlock the help of God in your life and always see you as God sees you.
YES, ITS DIFFICULT TO FIND THIS KIND OF PEOPLE, BUT GOD CAN CREATE, DESIGN AND THEN BRING THEM TO YOU.
David succeeded in life because he made only those God has met and made his own, part of his life. Friend, our Lives were not designed to have all kinds of people in it. Our lives were designed only for those God has met and made our own. Our lives were not necessarily designed for blood relatives, that is why not all blood relatives are useful.
Our lives were designed for those God has met to meet us and become our own.
People God has met to meet us to become our own are always useful, because everything from God is always perfect. They are useful through thick and thin. They are always by our side, always looking out for our interest, always helping us to fight the battles of the LORD, always with us to correct, rebuke, but remain with us even when we sin.
They do not depart from us when we fail, or when the enemy use our carnal desires to create shame in our lives. Our shame do not make them walk away from us. God understands the war around our souls, so He designed that they stick to us so that we can recover from all that the enemy may use in our lives to throw at us.
These are the unique prophetic provisions you need in life.
Yes, the prophetic provision of people who are always with us making peace here and there in our lives and unlocking the help of the LORD no matter what happens.
Those are the people we call unique prophetic provision from the LORD. If you do not have them now, they are on the way. The LORD has met them to meet you with the blessings He want to put in your life. So, if you have a destiny to fulfill, get ready for them. If you have an assignment from the LORD, get ready for them.
If God is moving in your life to make you a vessel of His on the face of the earth, get ready for this unique people. If you have seen a future of greatness, get ready for these kinds of people. They are the ones God uses to unlock a man’s greatness.
Yes, if there is something God wants to do with your life, get ready for this unique people. That is the word of the LORD!!!
