TODAY’S DEVOTION (TUESDAY 14TH April 2026)
“Whatever I tell you in the dark, speak in the light; and what you hear in the ear, preach on the housetops.”
“And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will.”

WELCOME TO THE 104TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF STRATEGIC VICTORY
We thank the LORD for keeping us alive and bring us to another day that he has made. We give Him the glory for the blood in our veins, the air in our lungs, the vision in our eyes, the beats of our hearts and the healings and sound health most of us have seen.
Indeed, He is the Father that pities His children and know that we are dust, frail, vulnerable and in battle with a vicious invisible enemy, giving is the protection we need, even when we do not deserve it. We remain grateful and hopeful. If this God be for us, who can be against us.
Today’s devotional will be a refreshing of our minds on divine protection. We live in an unpredictable world. Some of the things we should always be reminded of are God’s love for us, God’s mercies over us, God’s will for our lives, God’s ways that must be followed, and God’s protection over our lives.
Also, our church generation has been saddled with the responsibility of preaching the hidden things of God, the uncompromising gospel, or the apostolic doctrine, which is the doctrine of Christ. It is a gospel that some with the religious spirit, and people under demonic influence would not want to hear, hence putting our lives in danger. But God promised us divine protection.
So, we do not just need divine protection because we live in a dangerous world, we need it because of the assignments the LORD has given us. Jesus started His church the way He wanted it, now He wants His church the way He started it. But the forces of hell will fight to make sure that does not happen.
They will sway people to use our past sins to slander and defame us, they will influence some to hate us with malicious hate, and sway others to spread misinformation about us, some will even be moved to defile, demonize, and attempt to destroy us even physically.
Others will use demonic force to places curses upon us, thinking they are doing God a service.
I remember when several ministers’ meetings were held here in Kenya where I was the ‘devil’ they came to discuss about. They planned and did a lot against me; they prayed wicked prayers and some passed curses over us and our ministry. I was told how many others went to their churches and continued the Luciferian move. Some even brough prophets from outside Kenya to curse us!
BUT ALL THAT THESE MISGUIDED PEOPLE SAID AND UTTERED AGAINST US NEVER CAME TO PASS.
Today, we are still here, growing stronger. In fact, this week we are having our 12th anniversary’s apostolic assembly.
If their prayers and curses had worked, we would not have gotten to the 12th. No one gets to the 10th even under a curse. The reason for all that is divine protection. But this is not the first-time misguided preachers of errors and false doctrine have gathered against me. It started in the 1990s.
Over the years, I have learnt that the greatest enemies of the authentic gospel are not usually outside the church but inside. It is comprised of preachers who are profiting from false doctrines, black or charismatic witchcraft like the use of oil, water and salt, etc.
Yes, it is made up of people who profit financially and otherwise from charismatic deception and their followers. It comprises of prophetic witches paraded as prophets of God and all kinds of people who have not been trained in the word of truth and righteousness but are in ministry, many who are not sent who just went.
The people who persecuted the early Church most were from the stock of the Pharisee and the Sadducees. They killed Jesus even. The worst of the gates of hell is sometimes within the four walls of what many of us see as church. However, the LORD also said the gates of hell shall not prevail. That is a statement of assured victory, uncommon success over the enemy, and divine protection.
He also said, we shall trade upon serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy, nothing shall by any means harm us. All these points to one beautiful truth. If divine protection is not added to all the blessings the LORD may have given you, you may have all other things right, but you will not live long enough to unleash your destiny.
IT IS DIVINE PROTECTION THAT KEEPS A MAN OR WOMAN OF DESTINY LONG ENOUGH TO FINISH GOD’S WILL FOR THEIR LIFE.
Let us look at the life of few Bible men. Let’s begin with David. If God had not protected him from Saul and all his enemies there would have been no David. If God had not made sure that he was protected in days when he became battle weary, his enemies would have prevailed against him.
The same can be seen in the life of Paul the apostle; He went through so much that ordinarily he should have died in few months after accepting Christ. The first year he opened his mouth to preach, the Jews stoned him to ‘death.’ the Bible says:
“Then Jews from Antioch and Iconium came there; and having persuaded the multitudes, they stoned Paul and dragged him out of the city, supposing him to be dead.”
“However, when the disciples gathered around him, he rose up and went into the city. And the next day he departed with Barnabas to Derbe.” Acts 14:19-20 NKJV
These are the kinds of attacks one can face when taking the authentic gospel to where it’s needed. He was not insulting anyone, he just preached that Jesus is the Messiah, and all hell broke loose. Just as we said, “Jesus is Enough” and all hell broke loose here in Kenya.
It takes divine protection to be stoned and left for dead and then rise to go back into the same City to continue what you were doing before the stones came.
It takes divine protection to be so treated and still have the life in you to travel to another city without being admitted in the Hospital for recovery. If GOD had not divinely protected Paul and the rest of the disciples, I do not think the gospel would have gotten to us.
THE DRAGON REALLY TRIED TO DEVOUR THEM, BUT GOD PROTECTED THEM.
Your divine destiny will need divine protection to be fulfilled. Yes, when God gives you a destiny to pursue, God will assign angels to protect you. When God give you an assignment to do, the Holy Ghost will be assigned to both empower and protect you to do it.
If you see yourself causing ripples in the camp of the enemy because you are doing a Holy Ghost empowered service in the kingdom, do not fear what may happen to you. God said through Isaiah;
“Do not say, ‘A conspiracy,’ concerning all that this people call a conspiracy, nor be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled. The Lord of hosts, Him you shall hallow; Let Him be your fear, and let Him be your dread.”
“He will be as a sanctuary, but a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense to both the houses of Israel, as a trap and a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem” Isaiah 8:12-14 NKJV
If you are afraid of anything, while doing the will of the LORD, please meditate on this scripture until there is a shift in your spirit man. The same Spirit that is empowering you to do those things is also protecting you at the same time from any harm that will come from doing those things.
If the Holy Ghost uses you to trample on serpents and scorpions or step on toes that are destroying His work, He will make sure that nothing by any means hurt you thereafter. The Holy Ghost does not empower a man to do a thing then abandon Him when the repercussions come from hell. He is not a man that abandons his partner when the heat becomes hot!
He sticks to His human partners to protect them from the backlash of the enemy after using them to do a work for God. That is why a major highlight in our devotional text this morning says;
“And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will.”
“But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.”
Fear will cripple the hand of the LORD and hinder us from experiencing God’s protection over our lives. But faith will launch us into the realm of glory where God’s protection exists! That is why the Holy Ghost always tells His human partners “fear not, for I am with you. Do not be afraid for I am your God.”

“Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you.” Genesis 28:15 NKJV.
