“Yes, in the way of your judgments, O Lord, we have waited for You; the desire of our soul is for Your name and for the remembrance of You.

WELCOME TO THE 157TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF STRATEGIC VICTORIES!
It’s the first weekend of the month of June, and we give God the glory. Day unto day we have been seeing His kindness, night unto night His tender mercies. Sleeping and waking up peacefully has only been made possible by His marvelous love that keeps our hearts beating and systems functioning.
This morning, we will be refreshing our minds on the blessing of divine backing. I hope we are ready. The revelation of divine backing has a way of sparking faith in our hearts and light in our soul. You should never be part of those who do not know that they need backing from God in a world like ours. We do not need demonic support we need divine support.
To start with, understand that God did not create a world that man can live and survive in without Him. Even those who deny His existence are kept by Him. His air keeps their blood circulating, the blood that is not even theirs but God’s blessing for their existence.
His sun shines upon them and make their lives beautiful, yet they say He does not exist. The food they cook and eat is from plants and animals He created. The water He created is what they drink daily and use in keeping themselves healthy. In fact, there is nothing in or about them that belong to them, yet they claim He does not exist.
Many deny Him the right of ownership, consequently transferring it to the evil one, who now owns their lives. So, God did not create an earth where one can live without Him!
THAT IS WHY ANYTHING THAT LACKS DIVINE BACKING WILL END UP IN THE VALLEYS OF TROUBLE, SORROWS, REGRETS, DISAPPOINTMENT ETC.
Peter, before the cross, comes to mind at this point. He toiled all night and caught nothing. But the few minutes Jesus backed Him, he had the greatest catch of fish in his life. One act of divine backing is all we need to become significantly successful in life. I mean one major cat of divine backing; it will push you to realms of success that will make it impossible for you to fail in life.
John the Baptist said, “A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven” (John 3:27 NKJV). There is nothing significant that we can become without backings from God, who is in heaven above and live in the hearts of believers.
If your life is full of struggles, toiling, and all the ills of this world, it’s a sign that you lack divine backing. If you are backed by the LORD, you will not see struggles, toiling, or the ills of this wicked world. You will find things easier regardless of the odds. People who are backed by God cannot be beaten by life perils. They cannot be turned back by men or devils.
Even in the worst battles of life, except if they retreat, surrender or refuse to fight, they will always come out better or victorious. Divine backing is what makes the difference between victory and defeat. Divine backing is what makes the difference between a beautiful life and a conquered life. Without it, life will never be beautiful.
Most times, divine backing is released when we resist the enemy or confront him in battle. Yes, it is released when a child of God pushes back at what the devil or men are doing against him using the prayer knee and absolute trust in God. It is not released when we give up and walk away from the enemy or from adversity. It is released when we confront them headlong.
YES, YOU WILL START THE BATTLE WEAK, BUT BECOME STRONG AS YOU KEEP FIGHTING, ALL BECAUSE THE LORD IS WITH YOU.
You do not become strong if you walk away being a child of God. You become strong if you refuse to give up. That is our heritage in Christ. The Bible says,
“And what more shall I say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon and Barak and Samson and Jephthah, also of David and Samuel and the prophets:
who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to fight the armies of the aliens.” Hebrews 11:32-34 NKJV
They quenched the violence of fire because they refused to give up, and God responded by backing them up. They escaped the edge of the sword because they faced the sword with faith and prayer, and God responded by backing them up. Out of weakness they were made strong to become valiant in battle and turned to fight the armies of the aliens, all because they refused to give up, and got divine backing for refusing to give up.
You do not know what you miss in God if you give up, and do not know what you will unlock from His throne to your life if you hang on and refuse to give up. People who give up easily in life may never see God back them up in anything. God does not back fearful and lazy people. You will hardly see God fighting for you if you are not a fighter in life. God works with, and for those who are working with, and for Him. I hope you understand that.
If you can stand, you will see His backings. That is why, if the mercy of the LORD is upon your life, you should not give up easily in any battle of life. Learn to stand. If you learn to stand you will attract divine backing some day and win big. You will also discover that when God shows you Mercy in battle, the enemy will begin to lose grounds, and you will begin to gain grounds.
So, do not ever give up in life, rather learn to fight on and fight through. That is what believers in Christ do, regardless of the circumstances. They always know God will send help and keep fighting. There is something else you need to know, and here is it;
DIVINE BACKING IS A BLESSING ONLY FOR THOSE WHO ARE IN DIVINE WILL. IF YOU ARE NOT IN DIVINE WILL, YOU WILL NEVER EXPERIENCE IT.
I grew up to discover that God will never release mercy to manifest as divine backing in our lives until we step into divine will. For example, if our marriages are not within divine will, we will never see “GOD’s mercy” manifesting in it, consequently missing divine backing in our marital experiences. There will just be unquenchable troubles and all kinds of wars in it.
If your economic life is not governed by divine will and ways, you will be toiling all day or night, depending on what you may be doing. If perhaps you finally get the money, something will always happen to eat it up away. I have heard people call that a curse. But it is not always a curse.
Yes, financial curses exist. They are responsible for the poverty of some people. But we must also understand that if a man’s ways please the LORD, any curses in his life will be turned into blessings. I think the real curse in people’s lives, is not the presence of the curse itself but the absence of divine backing in their lives! If you lack divine backing, you will never miss demonic beatings!
The reason for toiling all day or night, and yet not coming out well economically is simple. So many of us are not living our economic lives in symphony with divine will and ways, hence not experiencing divine backing in our economic ventures.
Divine backing is always the missing ingredient in the life of anyone who may be suffering any form of economic hardship. It is the missing link in the life of anyone who may be having any of these questions, especially in their night seasons;
1. What in the world is happening to me?
2. What am I not doing right in this ministry, marriage or business?
3. Why are things not working for me? Etc.
Sadly, most preachers blame these things on curses and evil foundations. They are blind to the things of God hence teaching the things of Satan.
