THE CRY OF THE SPIRIT DEVOTIONALS – BY RICHARD E. S. TAKIM

TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL (Monday 08 June 2026)

“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Romans 8:31-35 NKJV

WELCOME TO THE 159TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF STRATEGIC VICTORIES!

Thank GOD for the beautiful women day of yesterday. May God bless them for feeding us both spiritually and nutritionally. Indeed, as mothers, they fed us nutritionally and as maid servants of the Most High God, they fed us spiritually. It was an awesome service.

May they find more of God’s mercy, and may He continue to preserve them from the sword of the enemy, the anger and attacks of the aggrieved, the venom of the serpents, the fires of the dragon, the snares of the wicked, and the pits that men did for others to fall in. Amen and amen!!

Today God has a word for us. Mankind shall not survive by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the LORD. I Hope we are ready.

We live in very vulnerable times due to the prophetic seasons that are upon us. But our faith is in God. I trust His mercy to make sure that the expectations of the wicked concerning us are made none and void. I trust in His mercies to speak for us where we cannot speak for ourselves.

I trust in His power to disappoint the craftiness of the wicked so that their hands will not perform their enterprise. That is the faith to live in, it is called the faith of the son of God. The righteous shall live by faith. Yes, not by facts of what is happening but by faith in what God has promised us that He will do when bad things happen.

The Bible says God commanded His love towards us, in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. If God will love us while we were yet sinners, how much more now that His blood has washed us from filths and sin and made us a righteous seed.

THAT IS WHY OUR DEVOTIONAL TEXT TODAY IS INCREDIBLY SIGNIFICANT.

It was based on this revelation and divine conviction that Paul, the only true apostle of Grace in my opinion, a pattern for us all to follow, in doctrine and apostolicity, wrote to the Church at Rome saying,

“For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39 NKJV

So long as we remain in the paths of righteousness, nothing shall be able to separate us from the love of God. It is love that keeps us from evil and all the enemy do muster against us.

The only person that can separate us from the love of God is us; when we take sides with the devil, and start doing his bidding, we bring upon ourselves the wrath of God by sharing in GOD’s wrath on him. Outside that, nothing can separate us from the love of God! That is why the Bible admonishes that we keep ourselves in the love of God.

A believer can do things that take him away from God’s love, and the early Church knew that very well, hence documenting that charge.

Sadly, the heretic preachers among us, who call themselves the preachers of grace, do not know that. They do not tell us that it is our responsibility to keep ourselves in the love of God by making use of His saving grace upon our lives to live right. They do not tell us that if we do not keep ourselves in the love of God, we have walked away from His mercy like the prodigal son did.

If you recall, he only stepped back into mercy when he returned to the father’s house. That tells me that there are coverage areas of God’s mercies in the realm of the spirit. If we walk out of them, we will be doomed. So, keep yourself in the LOVE of God. The love of God is the greatest covering in God’s kingdom.

IT IS STRONGER THAN ANY SPIRITUAL COVERING ON THE FACE OF THE EARTH.

Our devotional text today is full of truths that you can glean from and save yourself from the judgments and condemnation of carnal men and satanic people. When I say judgment, I am not referring to rebukes from people of God who want you to make Heaven. Our Church generation calls such rebukes Judgment.

When I say judgment, I am referring to verdicts that are usually passed on mankind by demons inhabiting evil portals, most times standing on what they did, and those passed by evil companions, misguided pastors, derailed Church leadership, or perverted prophets. Why should shepherds turn themselves into wolves?

Why should a man or woman of God who received your tithes and offerings when you were with Him turn into animals that wants you dead when you go away from them?

I know church members can be bad, and very bad. God will not justify the wicked, neither will He forsake the righteous. This word is not for wicked church members but the innocent ones who are caught in the web of perverted preachers.

It is for the blameless and just church member who discovers that he or she needs to walk away from an assembly of Satan and is now being hunted by the aggrieved preacher. Things are happening in our age that never happened in time past. A lot has changed.

THE LORD HIMSELF SAW THESE DAYS AND SAID:

…. “Behold, I am against the shepherds, and I will require My flock at their hand; I will cause them to cease feeding the sheep, and the shepherds shall feed themselves no more; for I will deliver My flock from their mouths, that they may no longer be food for them.” Ezekiel 34:10 NKJV

This a beautiful promise From the LORD that has happened repeatedly before my very eyes here in Kenya. I have seen God deliver His sheep from the mouths of perverted prophets and prophetesses and from the grip of irresponsible shepherds. I have seen Him keep some alive who their prophet decreed will die in seven days for leaving their churches.

Instead, they lived and the churches of those preachers were shut down by the LORD. Indeed, He is delivering His sheep.

If you are a blameless Church member who is being tormented for leaving an assembly of Satan, this scripture should be an anchor of your faith. Stand on it in prayer and fasting asking the LORD to deliver you from the mouth of that aggrieved prophet, prophetess, dark apostle or irresponsible pastor.

The greatest insurance you have, if you are not a wicked church member that hurt a preacher and is now playing the victim, your greatest spiritual insurance is Jesus Christ, who sent these words years before now for believers of all ages. He promised delivering His sheep, which I presume you are.

He promised delivering them from their mouth (evil sentences, prophetic utterance, curses, bitter words) and no longer allow them to be providing the food of those wicked men and women seen as servants of God. You must believe in the promise of the LORD not what the prophet, prophetess or irresponsible shepherd may be saying, praying, or decreeing.

LET US CLOSE THIS BY SHARING HOW TO KNOW A SHEEP OF THE LORD IS BEEN DELIVERED FROM A SYNAGOGUE OF SATAN.

Sadly, it is the same signs you will see when the devil is taking you from a true assembly of God’s people, where God may have planted you. The first sign is they will no longer have righteous interest in the anti-Christ church; assembly of Satan or Babylon system dressed as Zion.

The person will just feel drawn by the LORD to stay or go away. Sadly, Satan does the same to a disappointed sheep of the LORD he wants to take away from the right church, that is why we must be careful. However, Jesus does that to set His sheep free from wrong churches and ministries.

He promised not to leave one sheep in the net of irresponsible shepherds. If you see anyone who is still there, the person is a goat and not a sheep of Christ. The Bible teaches that the sheep of Christ will hear His voice and no longer follow the irresponsible shepherd of their ministries.

We started this devotional by sharing with us the importance of keeping ourselves in the love of God, by living right. Let us conclude by saying “Keep yourself in the love of God, and you will see Him break out against His enemies that surround you.”

Some major highlights in our devotional text this morning says,

“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? …Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.”

MAKE THIS SCRIPTURE AN ADDITIONAL MEDITATION FOR THE DAY.

“You whom I [the Lord] have taken from the ends of the earth and have called from the corners of it, and said to you, You are My servant — I have chosen you and not cast you off [even though you are exiled].”

“Fear not [there is nothing to fear], for I am with you; do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties, yes, I will help you; yes, I will hold you up and retain you with My [victorious] right hand of rightness and justice.”

“Behold, all they who are enraged and inflamed against you shall be put to shame and confounded; they who strive against you shall be as nothing and shall perish.”

“You shall seek those who contend with you but shall not find them; they who war against you shall be as nothing, as nothing at all. “For I the Lord your God hold your right hand; I am the Lord, Who says to you, Fear not; I will help you!”

“Fear not, you worm Jacob, you men of Israel! I will help you, says the Lord; your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel.”

“Behold, I will make you to be a new, sharp, threshing instrument which has teeth; you shall thresh the mountains and beat them small, and shall make the hills like chaff.”

“You shall winnow them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the tempest or whirlwind shall scatter them. And you shall rejoice in the Lord, you shall glory in the Holy One of Israel.” Isaiah 41:9-16 AMP
