TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL (Saturday 6th March 2021)
“Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed Me! But you say, ‘In what way have we robbed You?’ In tithes and offerings. You are cursed with a curse, for you have robbed Me, even this whole nation.
Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this,” Says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it. Malachi 3:8-10 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 65th DAY OF OUR YEAR OF HIGHER HEIGHTS!
We give God the praise for waking us up this morning and giving us another day. We thank Him for all the mercies He have been showing us. Indeed, God has been faithful to us. He has been marvelous in His works and have not been dealing with us according to our sins but according to His faithfulness.
Sadly, people are misunderstanding the term “not dealing with us according to our sins” and living boldly in sin for not seeing the immediate consequences of their actions. Sin has consequences, except repentance comes immediately and quickly, sin has consequences.
Only repentance can put the power of the blood of Jesus to work to neutralize the consequence of sin. Continuing in our wickedness will destroy us suddenly. It will come without signs. It will just happen suddenly!
You must understand that when we say God is not dealing with us according to our sins, we are refereeing to what David stated. If God were to deal with us according to our sins, He would not have come down in the flesh and die on the cross for us to be saved. But He did not, hence He came down to earth to die on the cross, on our behalf, and set us free from sin and its consequences.
He set us free so that we might not live in it again. It is a life of sin that is making many of us not to walk in the full potential of Christianity. The Christian faith is full of potentials. One of it is walking in God’s ultimate power.
In God’s plans He wants every of His Child to be able to work miracles instead of depend on some prophets and prophetesses. He designed the Christian life to produce miracles for whoever lives the life.
BUT SIN HAS NEUTRALIZED THIS PLAN IN THE LIVES OF SO MANY OF US.
Many now walk in the power of the demon of deliverance because it takes not maintaining a clean walk with the LORD to walk in that power. A lot now use all kinds of deliverance inventions to engage demons to do things for them calling it GOD. But the genuine Christian life is a clean walk with God that leave miracles as a trail.
If you are not therefore working out miracles by the true power of GOD as a child of God, it means the life you are living might not be a Christian life. A true Christian life produce genuine miracles.
The Bible says,
“And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” Mark 16:17-18 NKJV
God designed the Christian life to leave miracles as a trail. He never designed it to follow miracles. In other words, if we say we are born again, miracles should be following us, we should not be the ones following miracles. We should not be the ones running after this man or the other man of God for miracles.
If you have a pastor who is teaching you to depend on his prayer for a miracle, he is the wrong man to call father. He is not fathering you. He is emasculating you!
Fathering will involve the planting of seeds into the life of Sons. It will involve making them fruitful in the things of God. And you are not fruitful if you still depend on your pastor for miracle prayer! He must train you to work in miracles yourself else you will lead a Christian life trailed by miseries.
The Christians life is designed by GOD to be trailed by miracles not miseries.

One area of life you must learn to walk in miracles is the area of finances. If you are not walking in miracles in money matters, you will be deceived by conmen and women in God’s garment using the seed sowing principle. Twisted and misinterpreted scriptures will be used to deal with your pocket and reduce you to a nonentity.
APART FROM GRACE, IF THERE IS ANY OTHER ASPECT OF THE BIBLE THAT WE NEED TRUE AND UNTAINTED INTERPRETATION TODAY IT IS THE ASPECT OF MONEY.
Some preachers these days preaches anything that will keep them smiling to the bank. Hence, what they teach about money is stained with greed and covetousness. They present bias, unbalanced, and very dangerous theology to their ignorant audience. That is why we must be properly schooled, especially at advanced level!
One major teaching about money in the kingdom that has been abused and stained with greed and covetousness is the teaching on Tithing.
I did a teaching on that four years back titled: THE GLORY OF THE COVENANT OF TITHING. It is a three-hour teaching on tithing. Many do not know that tithing is an act of worship that we give on the platform of covenant relationship with God. If we do not tithe respecting the covenant that governs tithing, our lives will remain “tight” in spite of our “tithes.”
No one tithes, respecting the Covenant of Tithing without seeing the results.
So if you have been tithing and you are still trapped in financial hardship, you have not been tithing according to the covenant that governs tithing. In fact, you have been wasting your tithes! For instance, apart from genuine salvation encounter and a life of repentance, the tithe is another strong force in God’s kingdom that can erase any curses you may have inherited anywhere on the face of the earth.
In fact, the covenant of tithing involves a life of faith towards our LORD Jesus and repentance towards God. That is what makes it strong enough to erase curses. Our devotional text makes it clear that God will rebuke devourers from our lives not when we fast, pray, or do any other thing but when we tithe. It is not just when we give a ten percent but when we do it according to the covenant that guides it.

Many do not know that what the present Church call evil pattern is a devourer! They engage in all kinds of things to stop the spiritual occurrence. But the covenant of tithing is enough to deal with that. Persistent sickness, diseases, stagnancy, and Curses are part of devourers. The covenant of tithing can deal with them.
Any form of demonic attack is a devourer but the covenant of tithing can deal with that. The word devourer captures all evil works from the gates of hell. And God said He will rebuke or erase them just by the power of the covenant of tithing. Our undoing has been tithing outside the covenant that governs tithing.
Many of us have done it sacrificially and got nothing. We got nothing because we sacrifice outside the covenant. But when we came into understanding of the covenant in tithing, everything changed. You are the next on GOD’s list.
Tithing within the covenant of tithing is the only way we place out tithes in GOD’s hands. Any other way is called sacrifice of fools. The truth remains, if you have been tithing and your pastor is still chasing out demons out of your live or asking you to sow another seed again to be free from any evil work, it means your tithe is being stolen from you. It is not being placed in God’s hands, hence not bearing fruits in your life.
No one who tithes according to the covenant that governs tithing fights enemies again. God will just give Him rest. The Bible says “faithful is He who has promised who also will do it” or perform His word in our lives! Hallelujah!
I have been teaching about Heavenly portals. Heavenly portals open in our lives both internally and externally. They can also open over us generationally. One thing that opens portals over us generationally the covenant of tithing.
A MAJOR HIGHLIGHT IN OUR DEVOTIONAL TEXT SAYS,
Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this,” Says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.
God says when we bring all the tithes to His House He will open portals over us and they will generate a blessing that there will be no room to keep. This word is so true because I have lives in my village blessed by this. I believe strongly that my generation (descendants) will come to reap from my tithes also, if Jesus tarries.
If you want your tithes to be opening portals over your life, then you must tithe according to the Covenant not according to what your pastor may have been saying.
Most pastors say horrible things to their members when it comes to tithing. They will say, “you have stolen from God for not tithing” giving a wrong interpretation to the words that says, “will a man rob God. Yet you have robbed me this whole nation”. Some will even call their members “thieves.” That is very sad!
Members go to church blessed and returns cursed by tithe collectors, making Heaven roar. Common sense should teach us that no one can steal or rob God because He owns everything. You cannot even rob a president of a nation easily come to talk of robbing God.
So when God says “You have robbed me” what does He mean?
Well, get the message I advised you to get. Among many other things, He was simply saying you have robed me of seeing the rewards of tithing speaking in your life. That is why I tell people, if you pastor preaches that you are under a curse for failing to tithe, leave that church because we are no longer under the law.
Under the law you come under a curse but under grace you don’t. You only rob God of seeing the rewards of tithing speaking in your life. Don’t forget, Christ has redeemed us from the curse, being made a curse for us (Galatians 3:13-14). That is why the first person to tithe (Abraham) was not under the law. He was under a covenant relationship with GOD.
That means the only way we can be blessed through tithing is to do it according to the covenant that governs it. The opening of Heavenly Portals over our lives through tithing will never happen if we do not tithe according to the covenant.
PART OF THE COVENANT OF TITHING IMPLIES THAT YOU FULLY UNDERSTAND THE REVELATION OF EACH WORD GOD SPOKE IN MALACHI 3:8-10.
For instance, the Bible says,
“Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this,” Says the Lord of hosts,”
If you look at this scripture carefully you will understand that the tithe is to be brought to His house (His Church).
Meaning, if the place is a “Crowd” by spiritual content instead of a “Church” your life will remain tithe in spite of your tithes. You will not be seen to have brought your tithe to His house. Hence, Heavenly portals will remain closed over the works of your hands leading to suffering, in spite of tithing.
We can go on and on but like I always share, this is a devotional and not a book. Just get the entire message in that audio CD and sit down with Jesus to learn all about the covenant. You will not fail again in Jesus name!
A lot of manipulation is going on today in so many crowds called Churches in the area of tithing. Some intimidate the people to give, while others seduce them by giving the Oil or communion to take after tithing. Some others will anoint the people with Oil. That is really outside the covenant of tithing.
The only thing that should precede the receiving of tithes in an Assembly of God’s people is bread and wine served to the people. This has nothing to do with Holy Communion. Bread represents “rich spiritual food” and wine represents “the fresh energy of the Holy Spirit.” So if you tithe in a local church that is not imparting you with God’s bread and wine before receiving your tithes, you will be sorry!
Sadly, most Churches that collects tithes are dead spiritually. They cannot even minister bread and wine to their people. They just collect their tithes from week to week giving them just Oil to drink or serving them un-Holy Communion. Time to stop being a fool, time to deliver yourself!
