TODAY’S DEVOTION (Monday 20TH January 2020)
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ Matthew 7:21-23 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 20TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF REJOICING
We bless the LORD of Heaven and Earth, the commander in Chief of the host of Heaven, the governor among the nations of the Earth; the one whose kingdom rules overall, for giving us another glorious day.
Though there is an alignment of evil going on in the world. It looks scary and the people involved are men of global influence in the dead Church. But Jesus remains the governor among the nations. I believe no plan of hell can overrun His redemptive plans for mankind. But I see things that gets me so worried. Indeed, the true Church needs to wake up!
Yes, every true Child of GOD must wake up spiritually and yield to the mystery of godliness. Because the mystery of wickedness is already at work. We must begin to spend our days on earth as we should. We must understand our prophetic schedules or assignments in Christ Jesus and begin to meet or fulfill them.
God scheduled our days long before we were formed in our mothers’ wombs. He is the only God who finishes before He starts. He has never started a thing without finishing it first in the Spirit. That is why He does not fail and will never fail. Failure only occurs in our life if we do not pursue what He has finished.
Irrespective of what devils may be doing through the governments of the nations of the earth, we still serve a mighty God who can overrun the enemy. Yes, Heaven and earth adore Him; angels bow before Him. He will not allow the counsel of the enemy to stand.
I THINK EVERYTHING IS SNOWBALLING INTO THE CONSUMMATION OF ALL THINGS.
Evil is being allowed to align so that it can destroy itself. It’s going to be a mighty collapse of Babylon. You must get yourself ready and not be caught in the web of the judgment. You must be on the LORD’s side.
He is also pouring His glory on His own this end time. Hear this, if you are not serving the LORD in spirit and in truth, you are missing a lot. Yes, you are missing the foretaste of Heaven that descends on those who serve Him while in fellowship with Him this very hour of the earth.
You are missing the clouds of glory that forms around those who serve Him. You are missing much more than what words can say! You may be serving Church or a man of God; that is different from serving God. And I need to tell you how.
Many who are serving their empty Churches and ‘men of God’ are not really serving God. You see that in their lives. That is why they are in Ichabod situations. They lead a life of no glory of God. Whatever they are doing is not being inhaled by Heaven. Consequently, nothing is expelled from Heaven on their lives.
You cannot serve God and not be visited and blessed by Him from time to time.
If acceptable services are rendered to God, He inhales them and expels His glory upon us. Making it impossible to live in the darkness of sin, Satan and the evil and corrupt system of this world. His glory makes sure we are protected from whatever may come out form the portal of hell against us.
I have come to realize that God does not allow the enemy to touch His workers or those who serve Him except when He wants to use the enemy to promote them to higher realms of glory. So, if you are serving God and are oppressed at the same time, check what you are really serving. It may not be God.
The Bible made it clear that God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek or serve Him. He is not a robber!
LIKE EARLIER STATED, THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SERVING GOD AND SERVING WHAT LOOK LIKE GOD.
For instance, if you are serving a Church that is not connected to any program of God on the face of the earth; a Church ruled and driven by the desire for money, fame, fortune, and carnal ambitions of men instead of the will of God, you are not serving God. It is preachers or MEMBERS from such churches that the enemy uses in the global warfare that is raging against the purposes of GOD!
The Church could be prospering and giving you good money, but God will never give you His rest, peace or a much-needed blessing.
You must know which agenda the Church you attend is fulfilling. Because so many local churches look God on the surface but are fulfilling a satanic agenda in the real sense.
If you observe the set men or leaders, you will know. If you find out that a spiritual leader is serving the god of gold, fame or fortress, you have found a church fulfilling a satanic agenda. You have found a church ministry that is helping Baal, Asherah or Ashtoreth and Molech to fight GOD.
By craving for the things that the god of gold offers spiritual leaders becomes too corrupt to promote the true agenda of God’s kingdom. So, you must check the agenda a local Church is fulfilling before you join and commit yourself to it. Look in the Spirit before you lead into that Church.
.
A lot is happening on earth today that is scary. And Church leaders are in the forefront.
So many we call GOD are not of GOD. If you are therefore serving a ‘man of God’ who is not truly called of God, cannot stand before God and men to turn many to righteousness or foster relationship with Jesus Christ, you are not serving God. You are serving a Satanic agenda! God will never bless you with His glory.
You could be enjoying the so-called blessings of the Church or ‘man of God’ but you will never see the true blessings of the LORD in your life because you are against His interest on earth.
So many preachers do a lot of things to bless those serving them. That is not bad if the preachers themselves are not representing a satanic agenda appearing divine.
I said this because most serving churches that are fulfilling a satanic agenda do not recognize it because of what they get from them. The preachers give them money and all that satisfy their carnal desires in return for their service in Church. The gifts further blind their minds and kill their discernment.
I have seen men of God bless those who served them with men and women to marry as reward, but down the line the marriage will be no more – it will cease to exist – giving birth to broken homes, broken hearts and broken lives.
YOU CAN NOT SING THE LORD’S SONG IN A STRANGE LAND!
He pays those who serve Him with His glory, and whatever His glory gives you abides for ever – be it money or marriage. But you cannot see that if you are not serving Him. That is how astute He is. You must discover your divine destiny and a local Church fulfilling His agenda and then serve Him there within the boundaries of your divine destiny.
If you keep serving Church and the so-called men of God who are not really serving God, there are no words to describe what your life will become when the curtains of time will be closed on you.
The only place you can serve God and have a happy ending in life is in the place of your divine destiny, and a local Church fulfilling God’s end time agenda! Anything outside that is foolishness.
Sadly, we leave in a Church generation that is not mindful these germane things. Yes, we live in a Church generation that is not mindful of life after death. We are not mindful of what Jesus will say to us when we cross the River, step out of this world and stand before Him to answer how we lived the life He gave us through salvation.
Our hearts are so disconnected from Heaven that earthly rewards have taken the center stage of our lives.
Satan and men may reward you with earthly things for serving what look like God but not really God. But only God can reward you with the true riches of His kingdom. Many who are looking busy and blessed by God in this part of eternity for doing what they take for a service to God will be sorry in the next life. They will be sorry when they will appear before the God, they thought they served.
Our devotional text laid it bare. It quoted Jesus, who will be the judge of all, saying; “Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
ONE THING I LIKE ABOUT JESUS IS HIS OPENNESS.
That is why anyone His Spirit cries through is always open. They don’t handle the word of God with craftiness but with openness. He made it clear to us how things will be when we step to the other side. Nothing is hidden!
He pointed out and pre-informed us that not everyone in religious service we call ‘great and wonderful’ will be called the same in eternity. It is only those who did His will in this life that will be rewarded and accepted in the next life.
Whatever you are doing in your Church today that is not God’s current will for your life will not speak well for you in the next life. It may look glorious, accepted, and celebrated by all who see and experience it, but God sees it as “lawlessness.” And lawlessness is the dust that betrays a Christian to witches and wizards.
Friend, this is the time to start double checking whatever you are doing in your Church or under your man of God.
This is time to serve God within the boundaries of your divine destiny. This is time to walk in discernment. Which secrets agenda is your church fulfilling? Who is the GOD or god of your pastor or spiritual father? Is it mammon or GOD almighty?
These are not questions we answer with our mouth. These are questions that are answered in our lives! What goes on in our lives holds the answers to these questions!
MAKE THIS SCRIPTURE AN ADDITIONAL MEDITATION FOR THE DAY;
“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.
“But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.” Matthew 7:24-27 NKJV
